    For me Squatch is worth the wait. Factory warranty lockers, on 35's, and upgraded suspension right out the gate is amazing. Super sweet custom builds though!!

      Name one place within 250 miles of the Dr. Pepper museum where you would need the squatch package to get you home? Everything past the base model is just for stance IMO. Who takes a 50k vehicle mudding?

      @@Brandoify , I had brought all 3 of my H2's (all built up) mudding.
      I do plan to get a Bronco in 25'. I'm leaning toward the Raptor. It will be taken into mud, but it will probably never rock crawl.

      Imo, if you’re into off-roading, then go sas. I went with Black Diamond (fairly capable off-road) but I’m not gonna be doing a whole lot of rock crawling.
      If you’re just into looks, then go sas - I think it looks great with 35” tires. Or, if you want to save $, then a 2” lift and 35s will give you ‘the look’

      Forget the Sasquatch. I initially ordered a Wildtrack. When it did not make the ‘21 production I had to adjust for a ‘22. Better for me. I was able to drive a manual, and an automatic in both engines. TBH the 2.3 auto impressed me the most, and looking at the future repairs on twin turbos - choice was easy. Stepped down to a Black Diamond with rear locker, kept auto, (dropped price by $12k) and will put a set of 17x9 with a 305/70R17 Ridge Grappler. Remove the crash bars and call it a day. No real sense in dropping the extra cash on the Wildtrack, or on a 2” lift to gain 1” of ground clearance. Just my $.02

    I went with a Sasquatch on my Badlands 4 door for two reasons: 1, the cost is about the same as if I were to do the equivalent upgrades myself, and 2, factory warranty. That warranty alone is worth it. I have a build date of 29 NOV.

    We did a SAS on our 2.7 Badlands Lux. It was only a $2500 option. Buy 5 rims and tires, lift, shock, locking front & rear diffs and then install it all….It’ll cost your more then $2500. To have to write a check for a few thousands dollars for rims & tires after you’ve already bought your vehicle kinda sucks. That said, I absolutely love the options of some of the rim & tire combos out there. But I still don’t see myself buying aftermarket rims & tires. I’ve never done it on any vehicle yet. Don’t plan on it with my Bronco. Which, BTW, shipped last Friday. It’ll be here between Nov 1st-7th. Can’t wait!

      @@svtcobra615 Yep. But question is, was the SAS worth it. On the lower trim levels, where the SAS is $5k. But us higher levels, where the SAS is only $2500. SAS does make sense.

    This is why the Bronco is such an awesome vehicle. Individuality. You build your Bronco they way You want it. I ordered my Black Diamond with the Sasquatch package because the locking front and rear was important to me. I do wish that Ford would have made the Stabilizer disconnect on option on all of the Broncos. Who knows, maybe down the line. But, for me it was worth the wait to have the Sasquatch. I also must be pretty lucky because I got my build date the week of December 6 this year. I ordered my Bronco back in June of this year. When I ordered it, they told me it would probably be the end of 2023. It worked out for me. I hope it works out for the rest of you. After watching all these Bronco videos, I can't wait to have mine. I'll be in a good group of people who are also Bronco owners.

  • @ZebReardon

    My Wild Track has Sasquatch by default however I still feel there are too many factory benefits to not select it on another model plus and it unless you plan on installing front and rear lockers and doing a lift bigger than 2 in anyway. My personal opinion is it's like ordering a Tesla without autopilot. Just order it so it's a part of your VIN number so if you get into an accident they will replace your factory equipment.

    Even in the Off Roadeo videos it's apparent that front and rear lockers are more crucial to getting traction and making it up trails than big tires. Also, Brad Lovell stressed all the engineering research that went into the development of the Bronco advanced HOSS suspension and the tuning of engine/transmission/suspension for optimal performance in one or two Bronco ride-along videos I watched. I would definitely choose a Big Bend with the Sasquatch package over a Big Bend with an aftermarket lift and 35" tires for those reasons.

    I'm all for modifying your order in order to get your Bronco built sooner. I did upgrade my Outer Banks with the Advanced Auto 4x4, 4.27 Gear Ratio and Rear Locker. So I'm only missing the Front Lockers from my Hero Switch setup. I also added Aux Switches and the High Pkg. • @jawall1068
      @jawall1068 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JC-cv3up no. I feel like the GOAT modes are a little “gimmicky”. If you understand the fundamentals of off roading, and you know when to use your lockers, and 4H/4L, that’s all that matters.
      The main things they change are the shift parameters, and engage 4wd or lockers depending on the mode. The base has sport mode which will hold gears better. During the off roadeo, I literally only used “normal”. The rest is learning when to use everything and not relying on a “GOAT mode”.
      I highly recommend attending an Bronco Off Roadeo event.

It's almost a drinking game. Thanks for all that you do, I appreciate your videos. If I lived closer to Alabama I would use your Dealership.

    @TCCUSTOMS can we get an updated video now? The supply chains are better now, and not only are people are shopping used. It would be cool to see your breakdown and opinion on the package now discussing if the cost differential is worth it or just get an aftermarket lift on it.

    If I end up ordering my 2 door Black Diamond, I’m definitely passing on the Sasquatch package so I can get the manual transmission. I’ll drive it in stock form for a while and gradually figure out if I really need to upgrade anything through the aftermarket. Great video as always, much love from Texas!

    The hidden option missed by most commenters here as well as the build is that you can just add the rear lockers on the big bend build (which is what I did) - truly turning it into an offroad machine. You cannot do that if you go down to the base model.

    Hi Mitchell I thought the Sasquatch package from Ford also had a heavier duty front axle as well not sure on that but if you let me know it would be much appreciated .. thanks

    • @TCcustoms_
      @TCcustoms_  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does have heavier duty axles. And a more aggressive gearing. For me, that would be really nice to have, but I’d rather give it up to get the bronco faster (which is exactly what I did with my white badlands).

  • @gavinhewlett2643

    Odds are, I’ll never use my front locker, I can get 4.27 gearing on the OBX and install a lift easily, along with custom rims to specialize my ride.

    I have a Big Bend with dual ac, switches, locking bar- except 1sf, and a couple of other package upgrades. This of course made it more expensive. I find that many of the trim package videos are limiting this info in saying “this is what you get” with this package. It’s misleading. I found it confusing for ordering until this was explained correctly. Get what you want in the package instead of trim picking.

    Great videos Mitch, two things though. One, my '21 F150 Lariat FX4 has bolted on, therefore removable, crash bars in the front. Not sure which year you were looking at. Two, as others have mentioned the Escape is made in KCMO, we have one of those too, but I believe the motor was assembled in Mexico. So you were partially right.

Is there any plans in the works to do a straight axle kit or is it even Is feasible without major engine relocation or frame modifications?

    On my 2022 Badlands order, the dealer said they could not select the combination of High Package 333A and the 4.7 Rear Diff. Dealer stated that although you could build that on the Ford 2022 website, the Dealer could not input that combination for the order, therefore I had to elect the Sasquatch package to get both the 4.7 rear and the High Package. :(

    Black Diamond 2.7, tow, SAS reserved/ordered 8/25/21 and have a 2/21/22 build date. So I don't think SAS and tow are the main constraints these days. I'm seeing a lot of older orders not built that have high/lux package. I think chips for the high/lux are a bigger issue than tow, 2.7, or sas these days

    I want the Sasquatch package, but with the two inch lift plus the bigger tires, will make it much taller and I go to the city a lot and tall parking garages are way more expensive and harder to find, so I’m just going to rock with a rear locker and probably get mud 33”
