Joe, enjoyed this format too. Funny you touch on shopping 2022 on card autos over 2023 sticker autos. Agree and have been shopping for some myself.

Well done by Panini getting a deal done with Bo to save face here at the end! Can you imagine if Bo wasn't live in this last product that they used to get their sticker autos out? That would have been chaos and so bad for any future they hope to have. Truly breakers/collectors/rippers should have known this was coming (the sticker dump) with fighters not showing themselves signing their Immac cards & knowing the license it up. Good job on the video... sure would be nice to get Stache puppet to do these videos haha

Appreciate you speaking straight facts about immac this year. I feel the same way man. The sticker autos are just lazy and the amount of redemptions is crazy...this is supposed to be thee premium product. Btw keep it up man. I'm down for more of this content too if that's what it takes to get more ufc card content. God bless

Immaculate is the Topps museum equivalent, but i was paying 80$ a box instead of 600.

Also, most disappointing part of this product is the memorabilia that isn’t worn by the fighter (especially kills the mem booklets). Favorite part of the product are the canvas booklets and dual autos.

I love when they sign completely off of the sticker and you only get half they signature. At least they made sure they signed onto the stickers.

Couldnt agree more about this product. Between everything you mentioned, plus an enormous checklist, its just not worth the rip. 2021 or 2022 is where to put your money if youre itching to rip Immaculate.

@@JoesCardStache I called panini to try to get some info before buying a card to see if a 2023 redemption was going to be on card. Manager informed me 90% autos in this product will be sticker highly doubts redemptions will be. I'm still waiting on 2022 redemptions for Islam. Though someone there told me they were on card and they sent SOME to him I am skeptical. They did confirm with me they have a deal with him though. One thing I kind of disagree on is having that huge booklet be a redemption might not be the worst thing. People could start weighing boxes potentially to search for them because they're probably huge/heavy. But yea staying far far away from this product.
Great format if you want to get some other stuff done while listening to this. Sometimes I just need something to put on my phone and set it to the side.

The stickers being placed over the card #s or fighter's faces looks so wack. The memorabilia being from no specific event or fighter makes the patches worthless

100% agreed with you. 2022 Immaculate was much better in terms of on-card autographs, fighter-worn patches, etc. However, I did manage to hit my first 1/1 fighter-worn patch from the 2023 Immaculate. 🤷🏻♂️

Definitely a sticker dump product. Basically what topps did with striking signatures before they lost the license.

I was impressed Panini got Dana on-cards. I think all his Topps autos were stickers. That Izzy/Poaton relic sounds pretty sick.
Truly, how sure are we that Topps is taking over UFC this year? There are a boat load of rumors flying around, but have we seen anything official on this subject? I havent.
Obviously Topps hasn’t announced they are getting the license so we are just working off of rumors and clues. There have been a few leaked photos of fighters signing Topps stickers and posting them on Instagram, but then taking it down. There is also a photo of a 2024 Topps UFC chrome box that looked like it was shot wherever they print the boxes. Not to mention the fact that Panini has been putting extra autos in hobby boxes and in retail (especially Chronicles and Optic) Companies usually do that when they’re losing a license because they need to get rid of the autos. Other than that, I’ve just heard a bunch of rumors. Someone DMEd me that they know someone that works at Panini and supposedly the entire UFC design staff has been moved to work on other sports. But I don’t have any way to corroborate that. The last big clue is the Panini hasn’t announced any of the products coming out in 2024. Usually by now they would have Prizm and Select release dates on the calendar. Just seems like they’re not gonna release anything anytime soon.
THANK YOU! 2023 Immaculate is truly trash. Sticker autos on Immaculate is a shame. The relics are garbage too, unfortunately I don't believe this is limited to Immaculate, Panini, or even UFC. That verbiage is becoming standard across the majority of products with relics.
Yeah. I know it’s a problem in other sports but it seems like they don’t do it in the very high end products like Flawless. Since this is the highest end UFC product I feel like all the memorabilia should be at least touched by the fighter. Hopefully Topps is better about this.
Hard agree on 2022 immac being the best year, that's why you can't find it on DA or blowout. Spoiler alert, the khabib /49 is the only one I'm missing for that moments set so I'm just waiting for a listing to pop 😂
I completely agree with your sentiments, and actually want the triple auto dc/islam/khabib but the photoshop for all those looks lazy imo (vs previous years) + it's a redemption... guess I'll be passing until further notice. The booklets look kinda poor as well + it's mems aren't associated. The only cards I'd even consider buying at this point are the marks of greatness, bo or erin, dana, fertitta brothers. But I don't even collect those fighters.

These prices are insane, just this week I picked up a topps GSP jumbo mat relic for $10. Who is buying these $1000 nothing relics? This hobby has so many pitfalls
Yep. So many pitfalls. Hopefully we can educate the newer collectors so they don’t get in trouble.
It's really unfortunate because 21 & 22 I thought were great. Don't like the 30 pattern and sticker over the numbers, just silly stuff! Cheers Joe

Immaculate singles don't retain value. Everybody acts like they're hitting huge cards. Give it a year and then see what your card is worth.

Yeah. Its pretty bad across all sports. Hopefully people will learn to flip the cards over and see if worn or not. If it’s not don’t buy it!

As consumers we need to be picky and call it like it is. While negative I think videos criticizing bad products or designs can be productive in holding the companies to a higher standard.

Thanks Zac! Honestly I wasn’t going to make this video but everytime I see some breaker bragging about pulling these non-worn patches and redemptions, it would just piss me off. Hopefully this helps educate some people. 🫡
