Shavkat standing choke MUST be used, if not by Panini, then Topps when they take over 🔥🔥🔥
Prolly my #1 image I want printed eventually. A standing RNC is ridiculous to pull off at that level, I can’t even remember off hand if I’ve ever seen that before he did it.

12:19 T Ferg posted gloves and UFC cap that Panini sent him while signing the Immac product. Guessing they put them on & take them off to say they were "fighter worn" but not event worn. I REALLY hope to see some color (sponsor) swatches on the jumbo mats like Topps used to have back in the day.
Totally agree on the swatches the single color napkins they use really bring the eye appeal down. Good to hear from you DK happy new year!

My neighboring cities power dipped when I fired that baby up. Agreed, the buy in is just so high, a lot of risk when it’s $500 for 6 cards 😅.
Agree with your estimates, and I am also leaning towards picking up a Poatan Booklet versus taking a chance on the product itself. The checklist is just too big for me to risk $500. The Dual Canvas Signatures are also very cool but I think they might be out of my price range

@@boxalarmtrading I’m curious to see if the transition to Topps will have an effect on Panini values. Poatan so hot right now though that I think his cards will be expensive either way.
Great checklist video mate! I really like how you mentioned about the cards that could give the potential chance of return on box cost. I personally don;t liek the 30 year anniversary card designs, looks super tacky. Was OK for Donruss as a parallel/insert but immaculate should look premium. Definitely going to be interesting to see the sales for the BO on card stuff!

I woulda been stoked to get a FOTL MEM auto of Aspinall to /6...amazing...O Malley, Strickland, Izzy, Shavkat, ROse, Charles, Valentina, JOanna, Khamzat, Moreno, Gane...any of those FOTL to .6 would have been fantastic

I agree with Bo, I like the "Marks of Greatness" card with the Gold Rookie "RC" on the card, it has some beautiful Gold/Red Pop to it. I think singles will be the way to go on this tbh.
Ya that’s how I’m leaning now. Would love to rip one for the channel but at $500 I can prolly get my favorite card for that 😂

all those clothes checklists are really not that many cards...its like /10 for each one, so its like having one /99 mem checklist if you add em all up with a /10 and a /1 to go with em

If you narrow down the entire checklist, what is the total quantity of fighters with autos in the release? Curious who has the most autos in the checklist.
No idea man, that type of investigating and math would blow up the hamsters in my brain. With Panini my guess is it would be someone like Blagoy Ivanov 😂

Sorta strange when you think about this ending the 3 year window/era with Panini.
Topps 2009-2020.... Panini 2021-2023.... Topps/Fanatics 2024....
Please Topps/Fanatics brings us larger images on the cards with less borders & bring back the multi color patches & mat relics. I believe the new era will be fun; complete with Topps/Fanatics booths being present at events to make cards part of the UFC event experience.
That’s a great marketing idea. The events are always so packed that would bring eyeballs to the people who love the sport most. I’m sure they’ll do some things better and some things worse, hopefully it’s a net positive for us; the consumer.
@@boxalarmtrading scared to ask… what could be worse? Joe shared and interview with Fanatics and the main dude was talking many improvements they want to improve for the collectors and experiences they want to add.
1 thing I heard was card show at MLB games so I’d think they’d want to add cards to the UFC experience too
@@dk_displays True, there’s not much that could be worse but pricing and continuing to overprint is my main concern.
I think Panini was very lazy with everything so I’m hopefully optimistic for the future.

1600 -> 2450 is about a 53% increase from 21 to 23...I know you said 35% but I think you had it flipped..IF MY CALKULAHUNS ARE COWECT!!

Historically resale is great for 22 and will be for 23, the only reason 2021 resale was not great was because it came out in VERY late 2021 when the card boom was ending and they tried to sell them for 1500-2000 and (like all cards from all sports) the prices came WAY WAY down, resale on 2022 has held steady especially in a down card market and 2023 will hold steady a well, but all 3 sets will do nothing but go up if you keep the product sealed especially as markets start to recover when we come out of this down market and as UFC keeps growing. Obviously the great rookies that go onto become champ or the precious super stars from those sets...all will hold well. Tom Aspinall is one I HIGHLY suggest you go after now before he goes nuclear.
I would strongly disagree with this. For one of the most expensive products Panini releases you can go look at the resale of even the biggest prospects and they’re selling for less than their Prizm or even select cards. For whatever reason Immaculate doesn’t do well for UFC. Or are you referring to the sealed product resell and not the actual cards?
I’m too curious to hold products I have to see what’s inside 😂

From the Panini era (21-23) Immaculate and the Panini instant Access online releases were the only on card autos. There are tons of older on card autos from Topps, and we will be getting on-card autos from Topps this year in 2024.

@@teslamodelxdaniel8260 Best set is a very subjective question based on personal preference, but I would say this 2023 Imacc release was Panini's weakest year of the 3. But the booklets are very nice. If you have a specific fighter you're eyeballing I would research their rookie card and first auto and hunt for those regardless of the product they're released in.
We have a ton of product unboxing videos you can take a look through those and figure out which aesthetic is your favorite and go from there.
@boxalarmtrading the Poatan on card autos is what has my eye. The sticker autos from optic, prizm and others don't look good to me.
