Ignoring the fact that Lara Greyrat is Rudeus' child and inherited huge manapool, the biggest threat Hitogami sees here is that Lara can open the portal to Hitogami's sealed world. Why is this a threat if Orsted was able to enter in previous regressions you ask? Well in order for Orsted to enter, he had to collect fragments of keys, and Perugius was one of them, whom Orsted had to kill unfortunately to acquire the fragment. But now since Lara can open the seal herself, Orsted does not need to kill Perugius, and instead he could use Perugius and his army to fight against Hitogami, which is a huge gain in combat power against Hitogami's apostles.
lara also possess divination which is a similar ability that hitogami has. she;s his antithesis that's why he tried all he could to prevent her birth because if she's born he is 100% fucked

My thoughts are since Rudeus was human and couldn’t use his mana more effectively like Laplace who was half demon half dragon, it basically up to Lara. Lara has huge mana pool, has the power of telepathy which she can use to find agents of Hitogami. And her demon blood means she’ll live long, and she has Leo with her.

@@7rimurug508mf hitogami didn't bring him there, I don't quite get it but from what I understood the playback miko (blessed child) changed the past to save a guy summoned from our world from death because she loved him by creating a rift in space time in the past, and when rudeus died his soul managed to slip through that rift and landed in the body of rudeus greyrat who without this new soul would have been a stillborn due to the power of his laplace factor. That rift in space time was actually the cause of the mana disaster pretty much. Hitogami had no clue how rudeus got into that world and had no part in his reincarnation

Hitogami didn't fuss much about other girls and even wanted to make the beast girls his partners to avoid Roxy.
And according to Orsted Roxy, in all the timelines he know about, never had a partner and is an irregularity who can't use her racial telepathy.
I was wondering if i all of osrted loop there is also rudy but that don't have an Isekai soul so he was easily manipulated by hitogami. The only consistent is norn and ruijerd having a daughter.

But my point stands that the child Ruijerd have was with someone from the Demon continent and not with Norm.
Also in a chapter during the last arc Orsted mentioned that since he needed Ruijerd's child to defeat Laplace, he made sure or atleast prevented anything that makes Ruijerd leave the demon continent since he never learnt the cause of Superd tribe's demise and didn't wanted Ruijerd to get affected by the disease either.
That's why I said that he never left demon continent in previous timelines but he may have left after having a child.

It took Dark Rudy literally learning how to turn back time without affecting himself as a paradox to knock Hitogamis plans back off tracks from already happening as planned.
He plans to go back in time and kill hitogami himself but he found out the equation is wrong and he's dying soon so instead he told his past self to not trust hitogami.

I think that in the WN it is says that Lara Greyrat has the strongest fate in the Rudeus lineages, that is why Rudeus gets Roxy so easily pregnant, in the lore it says that hybrids are not impossible but very difficult to conceive and they almost instantly get pregnant when they started their marital life. I personally believe that's why hitogami cannot interfere with her fate, so basically she has plot armor

Hitogami actually did prevent Lars from being born but Rudeus was able to travel back in time and change his and Roxy's fate.
To be more accurate, he stopped Lara from being born in ONE timeline, the Oldeus timeline, but that's the thing about time travel: it's complicated and messy.

The anime saison 2 part2 is about the 12th vol from the novel, the novel is near 26th vol if i'm right...
It possible the reason why hitogami tell rudy to go to ranoa and meet sylphy for same purpose, because even if rudy not meet sylphy rudy ED still can get cured by roxy in cases he go to begharit after know about zenith location.

The story of Rudeus is simply the prequel to the story in Mushoku Tensei. Where Rudeus' children will enter the main stage and take the spotlight.
On one hand it feels a bit disheartening that in the grand scheme of things Rudeus isn't a main actor, but I think it also does make what Rudeus managed to achieve in a human lifetime all the more impressive and heavy.
Mushoku Tensei wasn't the story of some overpowered MC defeating the big villian and becoming a hero. It's one where a person at the depths of life gets a second chance and slowly but surely learns to become a better person and manages to achieve incredible things.
This is even more strongly shown when at some point rudeus knew that if he dedicated his life to it, he could eventually learn how to fly. But he instead decided against it because he wanted to spend more time with his family.

Rudeus was relatively determined to save his mother. He hoped the detour to the Academy would waste Rudeus time enough to make it too late for Rudeus to get there. Otherwise he would have met up with Roxy there with probably the same outcome as meeting Sylphy.
