mind you, he only actually used mahoraga once. he tried to beat toji without it, went inside a domain to save his friends, solod a special grade, and is DAMN close to using his own domain stand proud megumi fushiguro, they were wrong about you
His ost just sounds so sad, calm and filled with pure pain and yet so motivating, it's just sounds so beautiful but listening to it feels so heartbreaking. It's really an ost defining megumi's character, it's the best ost (in my opinion)
This ost sounds sad at first, makes you want to cry because of all the depressing shit you've experienced....but then the guitar starts playing, motivating you to pull your shit together and keep on fighting because things won't get better if you cry... It really fits to his character.
When 266 gets animated, i can only imagine Yuji saying "It'll be lonely without you, Fushiguro.'' Then the screen fades back into the fight, THIS STARTS PLAYING as Sukuna is engulfed by a shadow, and Yuji BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM, i swear man i cannot WAIT FOR JJK SEASON 4
At the 1:00 mark is when Megumi should trip Sukuna with his shadow and Sukuna realizes that Megumi is still fighting back right as Yuji lands that punch to the face
It's an Ost that says 'despite the pain, despite the challenges, despite all my losses, I have to help you, I have to make you proud, you're my friend, you're everything, then if not for my sake, I'll fight for you, I'll make you proud of me, I'll make my life worth living!"
This OST really describes Megumi perfectly. A song filled with pain and melancholy, with some ambiguity in there too, kinda saying "what is right, what is wrong, is what im doing right?", and then the guitar kicks in that signifies motivation and telling him to pull through and keep on fighting and fulfil his duty. When Shibuya gets animated my comment will start making more sense.
bro not even slightly his domain expansion is cool but it's not even slightly terrifying. just think about malevolent shrine or kitchen or infinite void. do you know how much infinity is??
It's because he's kinda written like your usual shounen MC, his personality isn't typical shounen MC but what happens to him is. Getting beat up all the time, self confidence issues, big fight at the end of the season that shows his growth, flashbacks into his past(dont know anything about Itadori really), Sukuna taking a special interest in him cuz of his potential. So yea, he feels like an MC cuz he kinda is tbh.

But weirdly I suddenly pictured one of them with a smile, he held up his index finger, as if to tell me to wait. Then the guitar played in the theme and I was shown glimpses of past memories and beautiful moments. Times of going to the breach, snowboarding on mountains, exploring new places with people I love. Almost like I was shown what I would be giving up. Not those specific things but what they represent. Hope and a bright future. This song shows what love is and the resolve it brings. The resolve to fight for what you care about and persevere through hardship. Perfect love casts out fear.
When Megumi starts fighting Sukuna, essentially cursing himself for letting this happen but using the regret to power up was such a badass moment, only for an even more badass moment to happen next. Damn, this anime/manga is so good.

This theme is one of my favorites. I use it for a bunch of characters though when reading the Manga, mainly for when Maki went off and that was game changing.
I breathe listening to this song, I floss my teeth listening to this song, I sleep listening to this song, I lay in my bed for 5 hours listening to this song, I draw listening to this song, I cry listening to this song, I feel deeply inspired listening to this song, I begin to love Megumi listening to this song, I reminisce on JJK listening to this song, and I sincerely appreciate the creators for making this song. But at 1:45, I reach the ultimate pinnacle and my senses are heightened. At last I have undergone 1000 years of evolution, ascension, and explode in Gojo’s infinity. Nobody can touch me, and I am at the top until I come back to normal and repeat this cycle over again.
I'm happy that they used this OST again, but frustrated that it was in the scene where he invades Dagon's domain and not in the meeting between father and son, now I'm apprehensive about which OST they will use in the Megumi Vs Toji battle
They been reusing a lot of osts over and over again, they will probably do, otherwise they could make a new one just for the fight like the Choso vs Yuji one last part
Megumi invading Dagon's domain should've been a Your Battle Is My Battle moment with more buildup, when reading the manga it was definitely a Hero's arrival at the eleventh hour type deal. Definitely want to hear this during Megumi vs Toji tho
It was good for Dagons domain. Beginning sounds sad/desperate, good because Dagon was about to kill everyone. Then you get the inspirational part as he saves everyone’s life with his domain
Man, this OST's so triumphant, it almost makes me imagine a future manga and anime scene where Fushiguro struggles one last time against Sukuna along with everyone else trying to win and this theme just blasts in the background the whole time.
Regardless of this being Megumi's theme, this should be theme for JuJutsu Sorcerers Ill never get that scene of Megumi telling Yuji that he's not a hero, he's a JuJutsu Sorcerer outta my head because it was so character defining Yet, this theme carries alot of emotions especially if you were a Sorcerer fighting for the sake of humans against curses. This theme is like the core of a JuJutsu Sorcerer imo
This is a comeback song. It sounds all somber at first but starts picking up and gives off a hopeful feeling. I PRAY that later on down the line when the future arcs get adapted that they keep this song for my blessed brother Megumi. (Also Toji really should have given him another name, man, my brother is NOT blessed right now, he is going through it BIG TIME.)
Megumi has known his responsibility as a sorcerer since 7 years old and lost many comrades even before meeting Yuji. Never really know his parents. His father figure might be sealed forever. Lost Nobara, Nanami and in constant guilt that many people died because Sukuna targets him. His sister fell in coma and was tagged with a timed bomb when she wake up. When things just start to look good for him, Tsukimi was possessed by ancient sorcerer. His body was taken over, witness Sukuna use it to harm his best friend, and probably, kill his sister. He just can't catch a break.
If the final chapter isn t a twist , it s time for him to finally show everyone his true potential , show us that wonder of a completed domain Accomplished/Fullfilled Man ! 😊 I ll die on the hill megumi would have been a much better protagonist
OMG this theme is so claiming, filled with pain and so sad yet it is motivating and beautiful!! Its really amazing and a beautiful theme I have ever heard. Just like his character this theme describes him and his personality. It is the best OST I have ever heard😭💕
"We Aren’t Heroes Fighting For Justice. We’re Jujutsu Sorcerers. No One Can Ever Truly Judge Us, So We Must Continually Prove The Worth Of Our Existence. And We Don’t Have The Luxury Of Thinking About Ourselves. We’ve Just Got To Save People. I Believe That Was The Original Principle Of Your Actions. So Start By Saving Me Itadori."
So glad I found it the first try. I remember getting this goosebumps when this ost played after rewatching again. Had to find this theme to feel those gosh dam good feels. It makes me feel as if I got Megumis curse aura around me too.
I know the Culling Games arc isn't over yet but I have the feeling Megumi is gonna make a huge impact on it, even more than he has already. I also have the feeling we will hear this theme when that time comes. And when it gets animated in like 20 years, I'll be the guy who called it
Thinking about megumi,on how he holds dear his sister(who ha d a pretty bad ending later in the manga), thinking about the thing gojo asked him, thinking about getting stronger to protect those he holds dear...man,this ost fits him perfectly Its so sad that right now he's soooo depressed he wont come out from sukuna,YUJI DO SOMETHING FOR FUCK'S SAKE,KEEP HITTING THAT DAMN SOUL INSTEAD OF GETTING CLAPPED EVERY TIME GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER MC,SAVE AT LEAST ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS!
Fushiguro has been my favorite character ever since I started reading JJK. I think i understand why now, after actually listening to his theme. My philosophy for life is that even if it sucks, even if you're apathetic about it, even if 90% of it is suffering, you have to keep going. The sad part of this statement is highlighted in the first part of the song, as it's somewhat depressing and melancholy. But as it picks up, it makes you realize that you can't waste time crying or being sad. You have to keep moving forward, even if you hate it. I also just tend to like secondary/rival characters like him in anime (i.e. Miyata, Rukawa, Sasuke, Bakugo) so maybe that's why too.
Here after reading the last chapter. WIth how the story handled Megumi, this theme now feels like it belongs to a character that doesn't even exist in JuJutsu Kaisen.
It's a fun music. In away it also describe megumi to me. It remainded me on megumi smile before itadori death. (Idk what composer truly meaning, this is just my interpretation) It started by melancholy feelings. About his loneliness. Then it turned to be something hopeful till the end. The same note but had different type of emotion. I like when at the end of music, it accompanied by other instrument;that he's not alone anymore. Even the ending, it's not sound as lonely like at first. Rather, it sounded like nostalgia. I like how it changed from something calm into something wilder (?). The drum and guitar changed. Like a line of how him before and after meeting kugisaki and nobara. On how when he was with tsumiki and with the duo. Also there are something that describe how megumi found his determination, conviction. To fighting but not resigning to death everytime. To keep living and sacrifice himself. In away it's like realization or finding something. It become richer, the song i mean. Like how megumi in the story (anime) I like the song.
Yeah, no lol. Toji using his final words to tell Gojo about Megumi is probably his only redeeming moment. I'm pretty sure not single cent of that dime went to Megumi 😂

Just wait until he finds out he’s his dad in the upcoming end of next arc and bawls his eyes
today i am no longer balling but bawling
Well said friend
Barz
You gotta chill tf out
Y’all stop complaining let ppl express themselves
Dont need to get so intense lmfao
Megumi is my favorite character! This is beautiful.
I'm happy that they used this OST again, but frustrated that it was in the scene where he invades Dagon's domain and not in the meeting between father and son, now I'm apprehensive about which OST they will use in the Megumi Vs Toji battle
they should just reuse it
They been reusing a lot of osts over and over again, they will probably do, otherwise they could make a new one just for the fight like the Choso vs Yuji one last part
@@dan-gz1sfYou're right, a "remix" of Megumi's OST would be really good too, just like they did with "Remember" in the Yuji Vs Choso fight.
I love both Megumi and mathcore, and the fact that his song is like this is just... Perfect
“This one burns through cursed energy so I can only use it by itself” 🐘
this is so heartbreaking after the latest chapter 😭 he deserves better please this cant be the end for him
It's gon be last we hear of this💀
Dying to win and risking death to win are 2 different things, Megumi. Be greedier. -gojo 2020
We have never been more back
Man, this OST's so triumphant, it almost makes me imagine a future manga and anime scene where Fushiguro struggles one last time against Sukuna along with everyone else trying to win and this theme just blasts in the background the whole time.
Regardless of this being Megumi's theme, this should be theme for JuJutsu Sorcerers
Ill never get that scene of Megumi telling Yuji that he's not a hero, he's a JuJutsu Sorcerer outta my head because it was so character defining Yet, this theme carries alot of emotions especially if you were a Sorcerer fighting for the sake of humans against curses.
I get the feeling that megumi might end up becoming the true protagonist of this story
Megumi has imo the best character theme from the ones I've heard so far
They brought it back! 🔥🔥 GOATED theme
This theme always makes me tear a bit
whoever composed and produced this song, put all their cursed energy into it
"I am not a hero, i am a sorcerer, I'd never regret saving you"
I used this song for walkout music before a fight and felt like the protagonist. So I won. This is my walkout song from now on
they massacred my boy. this theme was my alarm clock for like a month so this shit nostalgic
I love this guy's determined look.
Look what they've done to my boy 😭
this really embodies megumis character tbh its perfect
Megumi has known his responsibility as a sorcerer since 7 years old and lost many comrades even before meeting Yuji. Never really know his parents. His father figure might be sealed forever. Lost Nobara, Nanami and in constant guilt that many people died because Sukuna targets him. His sister fell in coma and was tagged with a timed bomb when she wake up. When things just start to look good for him, Tsukimi was possessed by ancient sorcerer. His body was taken over, witness Sukuna use it to harm his best friend, and probably, kill his sister. He just can't catch a break.
Ughhh The swelling of the violin building up sounds so perfect 😩😩
If the final chapter isn t a twist , it s time for him to finally show everyone his true potential , show us that wonder of a completed domain Accomplished/Fullfilled Man ! 😊
I ll die on the hill megumi would have been a much better protagonist
They didn t even fight
0:40 the switch is so good
megumi's theme is the definition of "fuck it, we ball"
OMG this theme is so claiming, filled with pain and so sad yet it is motivating and beautiful!! Its really amazing and a beautiful theme I have ever heard. Just like his character this theme describes him and his personality. It is the best OST I have ever heard😭💕
"Megumi means blessings"
That why I've named him...
This is my fav JJK song, has that melancholy feel throughout and that little bit of hope, not overwhelming, but enough
2:30-2:36 anyone else notice how this part sounds like a more hopeful version of another JJK OST called "an unfair reality granted to all equally"
Thats megumis motif
I know the Culling Games arc isn't over yet but I have the feeling Megumi is gonna make a huge impact on it, even more than he has already. I also have the feeling we will hear this theme when that time comes. And when it gets animated in like 20 years, I'll be the guy who called it
Bruh....i mean he kinda did
💀💀💀
Yikes..
blud called it☠️
You called it man... FUCK
Best theme out of the entire show
Thinking about megumi,on how he holds dear his sister(who ha d a pretty bad ending later in the manga), thinking about the thing gojo asked him, thinking about getting stronger to protect those he holds dear...man,this ost fits him perfectly
Its so sad that right now he's soooo depressed he wont come out from sukuna,YUJI DO SOMETHING FOR FUCK'S SAKE,KEEP HITTING THAT DAMN SOUL INSTEAD OF GETTING CLAPPED EVERY TIME
GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER MC,SAVE AT LEAST ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS!
i hope this plays when he gets released from sukuna body
It really is a fantastic OST, encompassing all you described.
Here after reading the last chapter. WIth how the story handled Megumi, this theme now feels like it belongs to a character that doesn't even exist in JuJutsu Kaisen.
It's a fun music. In away it also describe megumi to me. It remainded me on megumi smile before itadori death.
(Idk what composer truly meaning, this is just my interpretation)
It started by melancholy feelings.
Like how megumi in the story (anime)
I like the song.
I know his current actions are justified but i hope he comes out strong, i love him😭😭😭
Toji really is a hero. The man faced all opposition and instead of trying to put his kid in danger made sure he was safe while he went for the dime.
I wouldn’t say Toji was a hero.
His sacrifice was heroic but it doesn’t negate the shit he did in the past.
u misunderstood his character. He went and wasted all the money too and didnt support his children. He isnt a hero, hes a very flawed person
Yeah, no lol. Toji using his final words to tell Gojo about Megumi is probably his only redeeming moment. I'm pretty sure not single cent of that dime went to Megumi 😂
This hit so hard now.
and he makes an appearance with this song again\
I really love the Math rock/prog metal vibes of this, it instantly catched my attention.
