1:36~1:49 is my favorite part. I've never seen anyone include Rika(human) in an MMV, but you seamlessly integrated it. and Yeah...this MMV also reminded me of certain less significant antagonist characters.
I just can’t get over how someone can use the pages of a manga to create such smoothly animated and colorful edits like this. It’s like watching the anime before the anime is even out, and even when the culling game is animated this will still have its own unique vibe that makes it amazing in its own right. Out of everything in this edit I’d say Kashimo vs Hakari and Yuta vs Ishigori were the best parts, so much color and impact when they were using their cursed techniques and the movement is so dynamic and captivating
I honestly thought this was a manga promotion mmv for culling games, production level on this is absolutely absurd, you absolutely fucking smashed it man. Insane work
I've watched this video so many times since it came out, and I only just noticed a small detail at 0:55 that really shows how much work was put into this. If you look really closely, Ninja actually put impact frames on that kick. It's only there for a fraction of a second, but adds so much power to the scene. Really great work!

Culling games are much better when taken together as a whole and not week to week or month to month. It being completed you can see how many characters got a chance to shine, while during it a lot of people hated how characters were not taking center stage. That isn't to say it didn't have it moments week to week, but it is just better when taken as a whole.
Ngl I wasn't a great fan of the arc at first maybe coz it was too complicated, but it gets much better when you re-read it. Now its one of my favorites.

The anime is gonna be peak, I just recently read all of jujutsu kaisen in a few days and some moments were better portrayed in the anime(the death of mahito for example), it sometimes feels like Greg didn’t do everything he could with the scene so I hope the adaptation will fix and expand on it

The Culling Games is an underrated arc that I'm positive will be widely beloved and held in incredibly high regard after it's adapted in an animated format. JJK is a battle manga at its core, and the fights in The Culling Games are among the best in the series.

1:44 Absolutely love that Yuta scene where he finally puts on his engagement ring and starts to look like the final boss. Especially love it at 1:45 where he stares off into the distance with his red eyes (such a cold scene), that moving blur into ishigori also fits the music perfectly well
This was unironically my favorite arc in jjk. The shibuya incident and shinjuku showdown arcs were amazing but they pale in comparison to how great the culling games arc was. Every relevant character got to show off. Even the choreography in the fights was amazing.
Yeah I don't care what anyone says this arc to me was amazing. I remember everyone in the community was so hyped seeing to what would happen next (pre-lobotomy kaisen). We got fight after fight after fight and everybody popped off to their full potentional. Although I do think itadori should have gotten more fights and story and build up could have been more extended. Can't wait to see this animated!

The whole video is amazing!!! My favorite part is at 2:39 The music and the manga animation blends extremely well together!! It captures the moment where Maki is at her best, enjoying her new realization, free from a cynical burden!! It’s perfect!!
I love all the small details of this, I genuinely cannot find a single scene where something isn't moving, I love it. Plus a lot of people don't do the Yuki vs Kenjaku fight justice and for me it's easily my favorite part of the MMV. The gravity technique looks absolutely devastating as it should be, and all the small details like the star flashing at the beginning with the kick and Kenjaku moving away when Yuki has that insane look in her eye when she says that she doesn't even want to repair her mangled arm and continues to just go in for the offensive. And the way Kenjaku's domain expansion is animated along with the first slam is just insane, well done genuinely. Also the Yuta segments were also crazy, I feel like those segments really fit the song. If you were to do Sukuna vs Gojo, I know it would be insane man. This was worth the wait, the quality shows
Even the relaxed moments were done well, that panel of Kenjaku entering the tomb of the star is perfectly timed with the lull in the music. Given just enough time and exactly how I imagined it... Kenjaku fully savoring the moment.
i have rewatched this at least 100 times now. i LOVE the part where Hakari drops down behind Kashimo, while the music is getting intense. you've gotten me sooo much more excited to see this arc get animated.

Every major fight in this arc is amazing, the strategy in Megumi vs the the coupon guy, the character building in Itadori vs higuruma, the amazing Introduction to Yuta’s powers and the awesomeness of Ishigori in Yuta vs Ishigori vs Uro, Choso’s determination and Yuki being Yuki in Yuki and choso vs kenjaku, Hakari vs Kashimo doesn’t even need an explanation it’s just peak, and my personal favorite Yuji vs Sukuna. (Mom I’m famous)
IMO Yuki vs Kenjaku sucked. She'd been hyped up so much and was a special grade without barely anyone knowing her cursed technique, imagine how insanely powerful you have to be for that, and Gege just fucking killed her off. "bUt kEnJaKu'S tEcHnIqUe WaS a BaD mAtCh Up FoR hErS" all I see it as is the villains getting plot armour

I like how the story takes a step back and focuses more on character driven writing, and arguable has some of the best character moments in the series in a consistent basis with each colony. - Culling games is a masterclass in world building and character-writing
Truly great showcasing how great Culling Game arc was. So far my top 3 fight from this arc is: 1) Yuki and Choso VS Kenjaku 2) Yuta VS Uro VS Ishigori 3) Hakari VS Kashimo

This is absolute PEAK. This is insane for one person to animate. So clean. Also just want to say that Yuji's fight with Higuruma is underrated as hell and Higuruma has such a cool CT.
This is without hyperbole the most spectacular fan video I have ever seen. The way you paced timing of certain actions to the rhythm of the music and the use of natural breaks of the song to shift to the next "act" if you will is amazing and never felt overwhelming. And the movie theater bit before the Kenjaku fight showing their conversation at the bar was a beautiful touch. Well done.
I will watch this religiously on a daily basis, EVERY fight in this MMV is captured perfectly, but my favorite is the Kenny vs Choso and Yuki fight, now that fight, jesus you made it look so good the Editing is Top Tier and super high quality 10/10
Honestly, my biggest complaint is that her body was completely destroyed by the Black Hole, I would have loved for Kenjaku to take over her body and replaced Kaori's techniquer with hers, that sounds like such a broken combo with Cursed Spirit Manipulation and would have played well into his creepy body snatcher vibe, I'm disappointed it wasn't done
I really do like the animation style. It really makes it feel like these are panel scenes come to life instead of an adaptation of the events. Honestly top tier MMV.
This is absolute hype for an arc that didn't draw my attention or mean much to me. This is the perfect mmv, this is it, we have achieved perfection. Every sequence fits so perfectly and has me feeling snazzy and inspired on the inside.
God I love Yuki's black hole at 3:34 its such an awesome effect and the drums going ham makes it prefect! It's like I can feel the desperation and determination in this last-ditch attempt at taking down Kenjaku!

This is the single greatest MMV I have ever watched, unique music choice, fluid animation, even down to simple things like what specific scenes you chose to adapt. It’s amazing, you’re probably the best at this in the entire world.
One thing I love about JJK is the theme of "how to live life," and the Culling Games is definitely the best example of this concept. It was done well before Culling Games, especially during Kyoto Goodwill, but after Culling Games. It ascended to be one of the best explorations of the concept I've seen with the expanded cast. Especially Kashimo, Uro, Angel, and Ishigori, four of which are minor characters, but do a great job of showing that theme. I know many people might not like the Culling Games, but I think it's great and even surpasses Shibuya.
My mind is blown with the motion you're able to get out of the manga assets, the clean cuts between scenes, the perfect sync with the music. This is incredible, best video like it I've ever seen.

This was unironically my favorite arc in jjk. The shibuya incident and shinjuku showdown arcs were amazing but they pale in comparison to how great the culling games arc was. Every relevant character got to show off. Even the choreography in the fights was amazing.
Shibuya had a better story and the deaths had more impact than the culling games

Yeah I don't care what anyone says this arc to me was amazing. I remember everyone in the community was so hyped seeing to what would happen next (pre-lobotomy kaisen). We got fight after fight after fight and everybody popped off to their full potentional. Although I do think itadori should have gotten more fights and story and build up could have been more extended. Can't wait to see this animated!

Just finished this exact part of the manga and randomly stumbled across this video... It made me fall in love with JJK all over again
I love all the small details of this, I genuinely cannot find a single scene where something isn't moving, I love it. Plus a lot of people don't do the Yuki vs Kenjaku fight justice and for me it's easily my favorite part of the MMV. The gravity technique looks absolutely devastating as it should be, and all the small details like the star flashing at the beginning with the kick and Kenjaku moving away when Yuki has that insane look in her eye when she says that she doesn't even want to repair her mangled arm and continues to just go in for the offensive. And the way Kenjaku's domain expansion is animated along with the first slam is just insane, well done genuinely.
Also the Yuta segments were also crazy, I feel like those segments really fit the song. If you were to do Sukuna vs Gojo, I know it would be insane man. This was worth the wait, the quality shows
The way Yuki constantly pushes towards Kenjaku it's done so well, hopefully MAPPA if they will do a 3rd season too will make it justice too
Even the relaxed moments were done well, that panel of Kenjaku entering the tomb of the star is perfectly timed with the lull in the music. Given just enough time and exactly how I imagined it... Kenjaku fully savoring the moment.

Every major fight in this arc is amazing, the strategy in Megumi vs the the coupon guy, the character building in Itadori vs higuruma, the amazing Introduction to Yuta’s powers and the awesomeness of Ishigori in Yuta vs Ishigori vs Uro, Choso’s determination and Yuki being Yuki in Yuki and choso vs kenjaku, Hakari vs Kashimo doesn’t even need an explanation it’s just peak, and my personal favorite Yuji vs Sukuna.

She'd been hyped up so much and was a special grade without barely anyone knowing her cursed technique, imagine how insanely powerful you have to be for that, and Gege just fucking killed her off. @@thesmashbeyonder5127 I find that a lot of people dislike the fact that the culling games aren't as big as a plot that Shibuya was in terms of story or events. But, that's what makes it great. I like how the story takes a step back and focuses more on character driven writing, and arguable has some of the best character moments in the series in a consistent basis with each colony.

This is without hyperbole the most spectacular fan video I have ever seen. The way you paced timing of certain actions to the rhythm of the music and the use of natural breaks of the song to shift to the next "act" if you will is amazing and never felt overwhelming.
And the movie theater bit before the Kenjaku fight showing their conversation at the bar was a beautiful touch. Well done.

Honestly, my biggest complaint is that her body was completely destroyed by the Black Hole, I would have loved for Kenjaku to take over her body and replaced Kaori's techniquer with hers, that sounds like such a broken combo with Cursed Spirit Manipulation and would have played well into his creepy body snatcher vibe, I'm disappointed it wasn't done

One thing I love about JJK is the theme of "how to live life," and the Culling Games is definitely the best example of this concept.
It was done well before Culling Games, especially during Kyoto Goodwill, but after Culling Games. It ascended to be one of the best explorations of the concept I've seen with the expanded cast. Especially Kashimo, Uro, Angel, and Ishigori, four of which are minor characters, but do a great job of showing that theme.
I know many people might not like the Culling Games, but I think it's great and even surpasses Shibuya.
My mind is blown with the motion you're able to get out of the manga assets, the clean cuts between scenes, the perfect sync with the music. This is incredible, best video like it I've ever seen.
