No mention of real multipoint, which is limited to Samsung devices only with the Buds 3 Pro.

@StefTechSurfer When you can connect to 2 devices simultaneously and makes switching super easy and convenient.

Again, no mention of case size. Most of us put the case in our jeans pocket and every mm counts. It is crazy that Apple after all these years still has the smallest cases by far. Bud engineering by all other brands.

We generally pick and choose for time, but if you're curious you can always check out the reviews on the site - the measurements at the very top block.
But to answer your direct question:
      GPBP2: 50 x 64 x 17 mm
      SGB3P: 60 x 49 x 29 mm
      Happy listening!

@JakobHelm FWIW, I have the pixel buds 3 pro & galaxy buds 2 and there's no difference for me, but I have a big flashlight in my pocket all the time, so take that with a grain of salt. The thickness feels similar, with the galaxy maybe (maybe?) Being a bit smaller. The footprint is similar - the pixel buds cut off some edges, but i don't notice any difference between the two in my (male) pants/shorts pocket

@@midlandfusion22 thanks buddy! sounds like you're an outdoor kind of person and i am pretty much the opposite - always looking for the smallest wallet etc. :) So ya, I rather take it with a grain of salt - but thanks for helping!
The most important thing is probably the thickness of the case.
Just out of curiosity: Why do you carry a flashlight? I did not use one in like 10 years :D

@JakobHelm so I'm actually not that outdoorsy aside from taking the dog for walks 🤣 but I picked the habit up from my family long ago - it comes in handy for random things, like yesterday I had to jump the car in the garage and the hood was blocking all the light - my flashlight has a magnet on the back and I just popped it on the underside of the hood to see what I was doing haha its typical use is for picking up dog poop at night so I make sure to get it all, as well as sneaking back into my bedroom without waking my wife or baby (it has a very low light mode which is less than the flashlight on my phone & I can block easily with my thumb). I've also lent it to people on my walks who were looking for a lost pet or an airtag because phone lights don't light up near as much
Final reason that I'll probably never use is self defense - it's never going to get me in trouble with the law (unlike knives or batons which you have to know the laws wherever you are & how to use them), but if someone comes after you & it's the right situation you can completely blind them with it. I tested my flashlight on myself in daylight again just 2 days ago to confirm this was the case and I couldn't see anything lol it also has a strobe mode which is even more disorienting. For this purpose you have to do your research to understand the properties of your flashlight (lux, lumens, etc.), but a lot of the EDC lights these days will suffice (some are better than others). Now that I live in Chicago, even a relatively safe area, this has been more important to me.
Final reason is that I've become addicted to the ability to illuminate things 🤣

@JakobHelm oh and I just held the two buds cases together and I literally can't tell a difference in thickness which is surprising based on the dimensions above haha but just FYI

Every video I've watched about the pixel buds push me closer to jump to the wagon, I own a p8p but I have never been a fan of buying phone brand related buds, I own a Sony xm5 and they are great but I wouldn't Mind having a second option available

I'm thinking of getting the buds for sure and maybe even a P8P. So, go ahead. 🤜🤛

I have the pixel buds 2 because I bought them at a discount and by chance was gifted the Samsung galaxy buds 3 pro. The galaxy buds are superior, by far, for everything sound related (noise canceling, fitting & staying in my ears, sound quality). But I will say the pixel buds are way more comfortable when wearing them for multiple hours. Although I must say I was playing rocket league for about an hour with a galaxy bud in one ear (playing nothing but pass through noise b/c I was listening to sound through my laptop) and I literally didn't notice - i felt like an idiot as I was packing things up because I didn't realize it was there. What I didn't see in the video is that the pixel buds are way easier to control- they use tap & swipe. The galaxy buds use a weird pinch and I feel it's useless in the real world (which saddens me because I loved my galaxy iconx's which got basically everything right imo. I'd still recommend the galaxy buds 3 pro unless touch control is important

@midlandfusion22 Multipoint is important for and the lack of it makes the Galaxy Buds a show stopper. Bulb or drop style usually lack controls but the Pixelbuds get them perfect. I have them on my list.

@NegyedMisi multipoint is great if it's what you want, but FWIW the largest pixel buds ear pieces don't seem to insulate me from noise. For my use case (one device, apparently big ear canals), the galaxy buds are better, although I'm mad they moved from touch controls. Also in this context, the additional tie breaker is sound quality which is better in the galaxy buds for me, but that might just be because the pieces fit my ears better
