- The Palouse WA is a spectacular region of the US for photography! In this short video I go through some of the basics of when, where and why you want to shoot in this location. One correction, it's Old Hwy 95, not 395 as I state in the video. Enjoy!

Thank you Moose. I love the field report and very helpful tips you provide. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Really Enjoyed the Workshop, the Breakfasts, and Your Images.
enjoyed your being part of it ... thanks for the kind words!
Ok just have to confess when I saw the heading of this video All I could think was. I didn’t know that there was a moose season in the Palouse area. I live just north of Pullman in Idaho. I have seen moose at my place in the woods and multiple times on the Palouse. So I had to see who shot a moose. Oh well he is right this area is on of the most beautiful places in the world. Thank for clearing up my confusion. 🙂
Some of my own favorite shots have come from Steptoe Butte! Thanks for sharing and reminding me how special that place is! Enjoy!
Thanks, Moose. I always enjoy seeing your take on visiting / photographing an area I've never visited. We live in Massachusetts. It has been 50+ years since we drove / camped across route 80 in the United States and back through Canada. With the fifty more years of life experience and equipment we have now, a repeat would be a very different trip. Hang in there.
I live in the Palouse. It's beautiful
Really enjoying the travelogue/shooting report format this year!
Thanks Moose, I agree, the Palouse in green is a beautiful area. Don't forget to visit the Channeled Scablands, for completely different landscape.
