- Madera Canyon AZ is a spectacular location in the US for birds, especially Hummingbirds! In this short video, I go through some of the basics of when, where, and why you want to shoot at this location. This is the location where my two-part hummingbird series here on my Channel originates from 2023. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching!
Your wealth of knowledge of the natural world seems to have no end. Great images too of course! Love these updates. 😎
Thank you kindly, appreciate your watching!
Last weekend I picked up a copy of the Nikon System Handbook. A nice addition to my photo book collection. I've been following Moose since he had Wildlife Research Photography. Love the aircraft photos but the bird photography is best! Thanks Moose!
Thanks for sharing, Mr. Peterson!
My sincere pleasure! thanks for watching
Love ya Moose!
love ya right back! thanks
Hi Moose , great video again. Always love your vids, actually there is not a single one that i have missed. However what I miss is your great camera bag packing videos!
thanks for watching ... if I get a new bag, I'll be sure to make one but I've not changed those in a long time. But I have changed contents so maybe I should update ... thanks for the thought :-)
Santa Rita is my go to place to find the Rivoli’s and Broad billed! Thanks for sharing.
A moose here in Madera Canyon?! Wow - oh, a birder named “Moose.” Now it makes sense. Love our birds.
Here in Pima County, NW of Tucson, I see Anna’s and Costa’s hummingbirds, Gila woodpeckers, three kinds of doves, and even scarlet tanagers. Now shabby for an urban setting
I read somewhere that Rufous hummingbirds are least concern and their number is growing! Did you mean it’s number going down in Arizona or US?
meant what I said, their numbers, their population is being hit by the loss of food on their breeding grounds.
