Man, I have watched a lot of different mechanic DIY videos for various jobs that I have needed help and your demeanor and explanations throughout the video are top tier!
Hello friend, one question, after replacement, is it necessary to take it for alignment? I have a friend who made a replacement, I don't have it aligned and the car runs for 30 minutes and it got hard again 😅
I have a 2012 explorer . Lost power steering. Tractiin control fault and blinkers stopped working. Wondering if the problem could be the rack or something else
@@RastamanBuilds did it have park assist? Also, just found out, Ford has added a total of 10 years of warranty on these. Your customer could be compensated for this repair.
In order for the nuts to be unscrewed and the bolts to remain intact, you need to clean the rust with a metal brush and fill everything with WD40 or brake fluid. And what is also important, you need to unscrew it with your hands, not milookee with a torque of 1000 Nm. Although this also does not guarantee that the bolt will remain intact, it increases its chances of life.😉

@@ryanc3219 Thank you for sharing. I will reach out to them and see.
@@WheelAndRimRepair Recall # 14S06 I'll be inquiring today as well
@@ryanc3219 They said it covers the Rubber Bushings only and not steering rack itself
I would hate to do this on the ground
How many miles on your vehicle til you you need a new Rack n Pinion 🤔
If something doesn't come lose or break off the car is going to flip over😅😅😅😅😅😅
I know that's a bunch of BS you can't replace that bushing yourself or there's not a spring to tighten it. That's a 1500 fix
We say Alot of the same things lol
