I love iceberg for the crunch but she still insists on even getting rid of that because heaven forbid women enjoy anything but looking good for their man
Its the "make you feel like you're doing the most" approach instead of actually... DOING anything. Most of these women lose the same weight they would on a consistent 500 calorie deficit, but without any of the consistency or accessibility that calorie counting entails.
@@datamale It is also worrying, that most of the weight they do lose during the show is probably the water weight you drop rather quickly after starting a diet. Their progress will most likely plateau shortly after the show ends and they are provided no long term, sustainable system to lose weight and keep it off, let alone the knowledge to even know what is going on. Also centering juices as a major part of weight loss might cause problems for a lot of people, not only because juices aren't very filling and they never learned how to even count calories, but also because, based on what I've read, it seems possible that blending or juicing fruits and vegetables leads to insulin spikes because you're breaking up the fiber, which lets your body absorb the sugars in those foods much quicker. The show utterly fails to equip these people with a grounded understanding of how food and diets even work, let alone a better relationship with food. Even worse, it leaves its contestants and viewers even more confused and insecure.
@@BJSepuku It's shameful, for sure. It's the result of playing with people's health issues as an excuse to go "Look how smart I am!" I'd be really curious to see a follow up with these ladies, to get an idea of what the show ACTUALLY did for them in the long run.
Despite not being “fat” per se, reading the book “Letters from the Fat O Sphere”. It helped me accept that weight loss is often fueled by fatphobia. Later I learned that fat phobia is stepped in both Patriarchy and White Supremacy.
This show is an editing nightmare.
Let me know what you think of the video though!
youre gonna be big one day, mark my words! enjoyed watching your abbey sharp and fat camp videos and am now making my way through your channel.
"Lettuce soup" is a phrase I never want to hear again.
0 carb, 0 fat, 0 food in general, really

@@Veganbythewayevery food has to be looked at through the lens of how horny it gets you for your husband. Otherwise, why even bother eating?
Here before vid/channel blows up
I hate how shows like this make people believe a healthy diet has to be complicated, esoteric, expensive and bad tasting.

It's no surprise she's gone completely antivax.
@@No0Snakes Lmfao okay. Let me guess, you've done your own research on vaccines?
Discovered your channel the other day. I'm excited to have discovered you when you're still small, as it's clear you're going to be big! Bravo

It's stupid because bullying has been proven to be completely useless in motivating effective weight loss
2:52 I'm sorry but that is absolutely not a size 12, the poor woman doesn't even look any different, even after all the juice
