BOAT FISHING BONEY M POOLE

This is a day I spent afloat with the crew from the Christchurch And District Fishing Club, Aboard the charter boat Boney M, Skipper Louis Medley, out of Poole in Dorset.
Filmed early July 2024, a reasonable day's weather considering the appalling summer we had been having. A distinct lack of Mackeral, in fact we only caught about a dozen between us. However the Tope where happily taking frozen Mackeral and Squid, so looks like even they couldn't find much in the way of live ones.
A fair few decent Tope where brought to the boat, I couldn't get to film many as I was busy fishing as well as filming. All Tope are of course released as soon as captured. The day's haul including numerous Conger and a few Undulate Rays, plus the usual Scad and some decent size Gurnard.
