It's not just Ryu's shin-sho, every shoto's shoryu super can hit Dudley after a forward throw.

Well one small correction it has to be a neutral throw if you hold forward it misses if I'm not mistaken. OTG combos ftw

6:24 - an unexpected combo, but it worked! Who says Shin Shouryuken is lame? Literally the most impactful Super Art of the series when used right. MVC1 version has that same impact on CPS2 while the MVCI version further evolves it even better!
Naw ryu's sa2 is honestly underated and it's not used much by ryu players since it's the worst, but it's good for combo stuff. (as a ryu vetern player, i like this beautiful super, it's just saddening that this super is the worst of all ryu supers)

@@misterjersey5460 There's a difference between not being satisfying and worst. I use SA2 exclusively, but it IS his worst super. The damage is beautiful, but the chance of missing the full damage because of being slightly too far away is way too easy. Also being unable to use EX moves due to one bar hurts a lot with how much Ryu relies on EX.
It's not a bad super, just kinda suboptimal

Great video justin as always. I don't know is Shin Shoryu is the worst or not Super for Ryu, but is sooooo satisfying when hits that is the best Super for me.
The throw into ShinSho combo was introduced in SF3: Online Edition - Trials. Altho I wasn't aware of the conditions. I just knew it was possible and mashed until the trial was complete. Lol

Love the video, the Chrono Trigger music was perfect. I love Ryu in 3rd Strike he's my main. The throw into shin sho was one of his combo trials in online edition actually.
Also, SF6 is a nice, feature complete fighting, but no way the graphics are better than Tekken 8, or even MK1 for that matter. Anyways 3rd Strike is my favorite along with CVS2. Hope to see both in the future.
I used to play Denjin but now I use SA1 actually. I gotta be able to use that EX hadouken.

You have more opportunities to hit it because of parry
And Ryu just deals Hella stun in general, even without denjin.
It's biggest problem is that it's 1 bar, and Ryu has some of the best EX moves.
I disagree, I think his SA2 is trash overall if you never hit the sweet spot
Terrible anti air because hit window to actually do damage is very small. That much bar for the multihit damage is really bad
That's what i thought, the problem is that it's on Ryu. Seichusen/deadly double just works good because it's on Makoto and Q, those character always want their opponents close, so it's easier to confirm into it. But Ryu is not exactly a char who wants to be on their face 24/7, plus his EXs and other supers are way too good to give up anyway.
Listen yall I'm biased, because I'm an SA2 Ryu main myself, it's a good super, his best is obviously denjin, then SA1, but his SA2 is still damn good despite having some flaws
Ryu, Dudley, and maybe Elena and Sean are the few characters where all supers are not trash.
