Actually, the early arcade cabs of OG world warriors and champion edition actually had something where every like 200th or 500th input (didn't matter what button, could even happen during a block) a projectile would automatically come out instead (mainly hadoken s and sonic booms, since those are the 2 main kinds of projectile inputs to learn) so that people would see a special move they didn't know the now standard QCF/QCB/DP/RDP, charge players, rapid P or K, and the 360 Hyper bomb for the single grappler we all know today. In hyper fighter lp adds more stun because it's supposed to be a weaker hit but for some reason i don't know why but when you do a hp it keeps the stun at the same level for the next move. Add the hp stun with the lp stun and it adds up just enough to stun. Now that i think about it, it might have something to do with the counter system.
I started my Street fighter journey at the sequel to this game. Ryu has a different fireball than Ken. As a Ken player, I'd try to use Hurricane Kick as Ken's version didn't deal as much damage as Ryu, and in its place, Ken just deals more hits with less damage per hit. Found a uquine trick where during the Hurricane Kick Ken stops moving and hits enemy 2x while simultaneously striking infront and backside. When the attack connects, it's impossible to block as it hits both sides. This tactic requires the Hurricane Kick to be used on enemy while they are lying on ground before they get to their feet. Walk up to their body and execute the "Heavy" Hurricane Kick as they get to their feet. I managed to use this on Bison during main game.
