Virtually all projectors are designed to project the image with the lens at either the bottom of the screen (table top) or the top of the screen (ceiling mounted). If you place the projector at either of those heights and it’s centered and perpendicular, you don’t need any keystone adjustment. Home theater enthousiasts don’t use any keystone as it degrades the image quality somewhat. Just take some care in projector placement and you’ll be fine with not having any digital image adjustment.
Video projectors today are easier to calibrate than they were back in the 1980s & 1990s when those projectors needed to align each of the three lenses to display a perfect colour image & they can also be mounted for front & rear projection. It's been a long time since I had a rear projection TV & those things were heavy.
I just want to mention the camera work in your videos. For example, in this video there was a lot of essentially "talking head" where a static shot would normally be used. However, Phil's very subtle "hand-held" motion and zooms into a closeup of you and back out to more of the room just make the video feel more alive and like I'm in the room listening to you. In the real world, if I were in a room listening to you, I would be making eye contact with you and looking back and forth at the thing you're talking about, and Phil captures that extremely well. And I'm not quite sure how Phil does it, but it's a very smooth and stable hand-held, not the super annoying shakey cam. Anyway, this is something I've noticed and really appreciated about your videos for a little while now and wanted just just mention that I notice it and I appreciate it and I think it makes your videos better. To this date my dream setup was running three projectors on PC with convergence software on an oval screen with Nvidia 3D Vision and as I was waiting for the projector and processing tech to improve Nvidia killed off 3D Vision. This was before Linus demonstrated this on his channel.
I had 4 super bright 1024x768 projectors in my house that we used for LAN parties back with the original Halo CE in 2001 which ran at 480 resolution. I used to staple thick white sheets over the closet openings in my house to use as backdrops. They worked perfectly and as you mentioned, it was the best LAN party gaming experience I have ever had (even today).

Just want to clear something up on theater projectors. You can find 4k but most theaters are only 2k. I've had a couple of my films make into festivals and I have to have DCP (Digital Projection File) file created to playback on the theater projector. I only did a 2k file for my last 2 films because 4k was useless. It was surprising to learn this.
Weird. You’d think something that large would need to be 4K or higher, even with the light scatter. Because you can almost see pixelation at 4K on a 20 foot screen

Back in "the day," I worked for a large corporation's IT department and we did a lot of A/V work. With traditional bulb projectors that are on like 4 to 8 hours a day for presentations and training classes, they go through bulbs like every 6 months to a year; and those bulbs cost around a hundred dollars sometimes. LED has been fantastic for projectors.
I with you on this one, I had a crappy 720p Epson one as well around the same time. It may not have been the greatest picture quality but playing games on a white wall pretty much floor to ceiling was awesome.
My cousin had one like that but on PS3. We'd go over there and chill and watch cheesy movies and get drunk. Or cheesy anime like Hajime no Ippo, and every time they'd say "Makunouchi", we'd take a drink.
I looked for hours to find a high quality projector screen under 500$ and I finally found the perfect recipe. I forgot the channel name I discovered that showed me the materials needed. But all ya need is polyester fabric and get grey, black, and white material. Then layer them together and stretch them over your frame. Depending on the type of picture you want depends on how you layer the fabric. And the screen is viewable from both sides and in a mildly lit room with a cheap(300$) projector. Definitely worth doing if your into projectors.
I have the ViewSonic PX748-4K. I have used it for gaming streaming from my PC but mostly for TV/movies via Apple TV 4K. It'll do 1080p 240hz or 4k60. Looks very good with decently low latency. Can confirm the bulb does take a few minutes to warm up and cool down since it's not LED.
@@justinbeamon6624 They could be better for sure. I think 12000:1 is the spec. When this projector gives up the ghost I’ll likely go for a higher end one.
Just a heads up for anyone interested in getting this, I would HIGHLY recommend it, and the screen he has, I have as well and it also works well. I got this because I couldn’t fit a tv bigger than 75 inches in my basement so I knew this would be a great alternative. I use a 100 inch screen in my basement.

Hey Jay, just wanna say thank you for all your videos and expert information! I just built my first PC and used your insight to help. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
Having nick chilling in the background is under rated! Took a very informative video about a product but set the mood to be like you are chilling in the same room added a sense of immersion that I never knew I needed!
I like how Nick is just casually in the background doing various things the entire time. It was amusing/cool (I get that that's their space and Jay is "on the floor" as he put it & nick was purposely playinh something in the background to test the projector more, so yes I know that's why, I'm just saying it is funny to see).
Not a bad product for the price, if only I had the room for it. As the year is coming to a close wanted wish you, Phil and Nick and the whole JTC family a happy holiday season! Best of wishes for 2024!
Back in the 90s, I hooked up a PlayStation to the office projector in the conference room. The image wasn’t great, but playing Teken with 6’ tall characters was freakin awesome!
Actually, the benefit of an HD projector is you can make the pixels NOT visible by simply having the focus at 90% to 95 % focus, not at 100% focus. The very slight faint 5% or 10% blurriness hides the sharp pixel edges. But you also have to slightly tweak the color settings when doing that because the tiny blurriness causes the RGB to cross each other causing a very barely noticeable shift of colors and brightness. You just have to slightly change the tint and darken the brightness just a very tiny bit to restore the intended colors and brightness. That is why an out of focus projector image at a theater makes the image look washed out. It's the colors lights crossing each other.
I actually HAD to buy a projector because I couldn't buy a TV in Japan and bring it back home to my country after two years, while a small, relatively cheap projector was portable enough, and kinda cool. I literally DID just use an ironed bedsheet pinned to my wall, and it worked GREAT with my Xbox One X when I used the black-out curtains in my room. I mainly play single-player games, but ancient Greece and Egypt (Assassin's Creed) looked AMAZING projected onto a wall! If I had the space and budget, I would definitely consider a projector for gaming again, so absolutely recommend people with the space and budget to at least try it!♥️👍
I have one, it’s a BenQ though, and to note for those who have never gotten a projector before; yes you do need a matte white screen in a dark room instead of a bright white painted wall; also in a room with light ingest in the nicest ALR screen you can, it blocks out ambient light and such in lit rooms, rooms exposed to sunlight, etc. regardless I’m never ever going back to a tv or monitor. They even have really good budget ones, I started out with a $250 native 1080P one with HDR10, but most of those support 4K decoding and it will let you play 4K content and then downsample them but it’s a much better image than 1080ap, I’d argue that it’s 1440P or at least it only appears that way because the physical image is in fact 1080P, but still it’s hard to tell the difference. Projectors are the future or should be IMO. And not just for gaming, but all the movies and stuff I’ve been watching on my Series X, on a 100 inch screen, my wall is only 110 inches so I went with 100 inches and I mean come on that dwarfs 99% of big screen TVs and if I want I could put it in another room and make it up to 150 inches.
Projectors have a special niche case for splitscreen and couch coop gaming. it's so much easier to give a good view for 4 people when you're not scrunched up in front of a small screen.
My assessments in no particular order: - I don't mind the readjustments when switching from sources. That's a source limitation - Remote can be magnetically stored on top and sides of projector - Flat surface height adjustment changed to scroll wheel foot - 2-part dust cover for rear I/O for protection, access, and aesthetics. - Backlit controls on projector. - Support for a wide variety of wireless, low latency HDMI devices.
I use this on my desktop, works AMAZINGLY well! 1080p at 240, 1440p at 120 and 4k at 60 all with HDR. An easy plug and play, didn’t have to change anything in Nvidia control panel except for changing the resolution.
We used to play Halo with 4 splitscreens on a projector with the XBox 360. Linked to another 360 with also for splitscreens on a projector. Pure chaos and fun
I have an older ViewSonic 4k pixel shift with 240 1080p and love it. The colors aren't very accurate but beyond that it's been a great projector for gaming on PC. The bulb is starting to slowly go (after a few years and beyond the rated hours, no complaints there) but replacements are very expensive. I replaced it with an Epson 3200. The colors on the Epson are much better, and brightness is better, but focus is not nearly as good. It's also not really 4k, it's 1080p with side to side pixel shift, but not up and down so it's not as sharp and can't do 240hz. But the replacement bulbs are about $100 dollars which is cool. Overall gaming on projectors is really cool!
Allowing the choice of 4k or 240hz is a good choice. Led Is also great for longevity in not having to change a bulb. However, they've never been able to reach quite the same brightness, and that 2000 lumens might not be enough to give you the best image quality. You'd need a fairly dark room to get the full contrast, but then you also have to take into account hdr. My BenQ has 3000 lumens, and while I bought a spare bulb, I havent had to change it out yet. It might also be worth it to buy a good screen. Even lesser priced screens have 2 layers of black and white to help reflect and prevent it from bleeding out the back.
I have a 150€ blitzwolf projector for movies in my backyard. It's 1080p and hooked up with the cheapest 5.1 souround system I could find( another 150€)We are having a blast using it with only 300€. You don't have to over spend to have fun and enjoy an almost cinema level movie experience.
Remember if you're running through a receiver/processor, the video section of that must also support the resolution and refresh rates you're desiring from the projector (or any display). HDMI will always default to the lowest common denominator.
lol yall would hate me, my projector setup is just a clean white painted wall and my projector is some high end epson from 15 years ago, i put a generic replacement light in it off amazon so it makes a constant buzzing noise like coil whine sound, but i enjoy it lol. its bright enough to watch with the lights on and with a 7.1 surround you cant hear it whining 😂
I had a Benq W1070 that lasted for yrs, i had it at 90" screen size 1080p 60hz very low input lag for what it was & yeah did it's job.(even Linus back in the day made a vid on it) How ever if i ever go again for a projector it'll be a laser short throw so i don't have to worry about bulb changes so often, & mounting the sucker. Just sit it on a desk & set it up from the desk. I use a Hisense 58 inch Tv now. it does the job for me. Those willing to use a projector image quality & resolution & Input lag times are the only concern ill have for those gaming & watching movies & youtube or even act as a Pc Screen, they do work rather well.
Jay, One thing about projectors most folks are not aware of, is they are actually the best use for doing 3D gaming. projectors have something normal monitor's cannot do, for 3D gaming specifically. i used to play WOW in 3D on a projector for just that purpose, when 3D was all the rage. 3D stuff is mostly dead and out of development now adays so. try it 3D gaming on a good projector is really nice, if you can get the 3D to work either amd or nvidias flavor of 3D gaming they used to have, and have some 3D glasses about -d
My wife just bought me a cheap projector off Amazon and it’s actually not bad I was playing some older CoD’s and fall guys just to see what it’d be like and it’s not bad. So this was perfect timing because I was wondering if there was a projector for gaming!
@@BlackJesus8463she spent 99$ on this one. It’s 1080p at 60hz. I figured it would be awful but I’m actually really impressed. Clearly down the road I’d like to go with something that’s higher in quality. But for getting my feet wet this one works perfect!
When the lag with keystone correction gets greatly reduced/eliminated. This is an easy a must have purchase. As Jay stated when fast mode is enabled it dose look like a monitor that is slanted. I also have a product request could an OLED projector be made similar to how LCD projectors are made. Or bring this technology to laser projection.
This is a great topic, I'm interested in this and picking one up for movies and gaming on my PC just never found a video as detailed and informative as this one ! Great choice for a new vid !
Title brought me to expect a short throw projector. U know, the ones the have a lens near the top of the base for that allows you to place it two ft away. Made so you can't get between the projector and the screen. This is a good review but its not a short throw projector. Would be interesting if you find a true short throw with the dame specs and see if it can hang. Always liking your two cents either way.
Projectors usually work best in a room with enough space to do it justice, eg cinema room, the price would suggest it’d be of more interest to someone with greater means, or decent disposable income. Having to manually fanny about with the 4K switch would get old pretty quick but if you did want to make use of the different refresh rates for different sources, I suppose you’d put up with it. Should have auto detect though. Looks like it’d be ideal for party games, but I don’t have room for that in my man cave. Or any friends I’d care to let in there… 😂
My mom has a 1080p native, 4k supported projector at 150 inches for $100. I was shocked at how good it looked. My dad even bought one for his house it looked so good, lol. My mom is 77 and my dad is 80, so it actually helps them see their TV better.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M Not at 4k, but it is actually good. It is at native 1080p projector. If I did not see it with my own eyes I would be saying the same thing.
Ls11000 and ls12000 from epson can do 4k 120hz, laser illumination, hdr and crazy high lumen levels for all colors. I went from a budget 4k Optoma, to a higher end benq ht5550 and finally landed on the ls12000. 3090ti, series x and ps5 look and play incredible with the ls12000. It's costly, but I would love a comparison gaming at 4k 120z on a monitor/TV vs an equivalent projector.
00:22:05 Yeah you are indeed not going to experience Netflix in 4k on a PC but that's because Netflix doesn't support anything above 1080p on almost all browsers, don't even know if there is one that does, the desktop app maybe does but not so sure about that either
The input latency for this is different for each resolution. With gaming mode on at 4k it’s 16 milliseconds which is not noticeable at all. You only start to notice latency at 17 or higher. For 1440p 120 it’s 12 milliseconds, and 1080p 240 it’s 8 milliseconds. All resolutions and frames rates on gaming mode have great latency performance. With gaming mode off I’m not sure of the exact numbers but it didn’t seem so different at all.
My son built his own 12.5 foot highly reflective screen on one end of the basement. It's a masterpiece. He uses an overhead projector, I'll show him this one.
nick in the back ground doing poses lol i still remember back in highschool when someone brought their xbox 360 and we all started playing halo and cod on the last few days of school it was pretty fun back then but i bet this would be even better (probably even better than my tcl 50" 4k60 hdr10 roku tv)
Not a projector enthusiast either. But, a home theater audio zealot. One thing about gaming consoles and now this projector is what kind of system/equipment they share space with. Xbox should consider how Jeep thought about their Cherokee being parked in garages next to Porsche, Mercedes, etc. They realized people wanted the adventure, but it needed to also fit in with their good taste, so they made the Grand Cherokee. There have been Xbox consoles (especially the silly shaped white 360) that I haven't been crazy about parking with my righteous A/V equipment. So you asked what we thought about this projector and for me, the green strips are abhorrent. For the kids room, fine. But for that alone it would never go into my home theater system. I know it's petty. But it's my place, I can be picky.
I agree with you on your statements about the projector 100% but, it's kinda a 50/50 between the Xbox and projector. I have one myself and I just leave it at 4k but the Xbox shouldn't have to lower the resolution to give you what the projector says it can with it. As far as the projector itself I think they should've put another USB port on it for 2 reasons. The person may not be using a USB type c cable so the other port would be universal regardless of the speed but at least make it a 3.0. If I made this myself to be somewhat of an Xbox projector I'd make an Xbox app to help the user change those same settings that remote for the projector did though console itself. That would be very useful for ceiling mounts.
I've only been using projectors since 2005 and now I've been waiting for the next gen of UST projectors that will actually go above 60hz at 4K. I'm not a competitive-shooter player and prefer the story-rich single player style, but being stuck at 60hz is starting to show it's age. I don't think I can go back to a non-UST projector, it's so nice and convenient. There are videos out there covering ones that go above 60hz @ 4K but its kinda false advertisement, as they dont actually have that output; like the LTT Nexigo video. I think the current limitation is that Texas Instruments (that has the patent for these types of chips) just hasn't released the chips that have 4k over 60hz capability. I would love to see a video from a techtuber covering this, but it is kind of a niche thing.
Great production work. The cinematography, cuts etc are cool. Not sure it works for every subject but for a video like this one I think it makes for a more interesting presentation. Thanks!
The reason, why the panel resolution on this projector is directly attached to the refreshrate should be the same like my Viewsonic PX748 4k. These projectors do pixel shifting and are only 1080p displays. They are vibrating 0,5 pixels to the left, 0,5 pixels down, 0,5 pixels to the right and 0,5 pixels up. Thats why you can get 1080/240, but only 4k/60, because it has to split up its refreshrate into the 4 different positions of the 1080p chip to get an image with the quality "like" an 4k image. You simply can't get a 4k projector under 5000€ or 5000$, but i even heard one time that those for 5000 are pixel shifters too, because the true 4k projectors are manufactured for cinemas.... Really confusing, i dont know who to believe :D
I used to work at a cinemark. The xenon gas lightbulbs we used on out projectors are the size of the xbox series x. We were forced to wear protective equipment when changing them after 1000 hours of usage.
for gaming higher refresh rate > higher resolution in almost all cases. once you experience it you can't really go back. of course the ideal would be 4K@120hz at minimum
1st scene when Nick was sitting on the couch in the background made me go "hmmm". Next scene when he was laying down I giggled. The next scene I expected Nick to be sitting upside down on the courch on his phone and I don't think I've been more dissapointed in my life when the couch was empty. I started typing out a whole comment then scrolled back to the video and my faith in humanity was restored!! You guys get it lol

Also, as I'm watching the video, with the issue of fast mode dropping functions. All of those function, warp, keystone etc, need processing time. Even on the "big boy" projectors that cost ten of thousands of dollars, we still have some latency with those options turned on. Not mention the moment you turn those on and use them, you are losing resolution. I haven't come across a projector that doesn't add latency once warp, keystone, digital zoom etc is turned on. (25 years of being a live event/ broadcast video engineer) So to expect that in a $1600 home projector is kinda asking a lot.
Judging from how often Nick is changing positions, I don't think that couch is very comfortable! LOL 8:07 Now he's at the computer! You guys are funny, love it.
Up to the point of Jay activating the "ultrafast" feature i was thinking about how crap it's gonna look with the keystone and other adjustments. I believe them disabling your "needed features" is 100% giving you a better image quality and smoothness which would be otherwise impossible for this price point...
Over a year ago, I had this thought of just shining the projector onto the wall & have the light blown up to the size of the wall to try to achieve a life-like size; like you could be standing there with CJ in GTA SA standing against the wall & seeing cars in life-like size driving around &/or parked.
I have a dual monitor setup (1440p 180 & 4k60) and find Myself using the 1440 more (gaming and movies) over the 4k. 4k is more of a Nice to have feature.
I use my 100" short through 4k tri-laser projector for my switch, it somehow still looks glorious playing Tears of the Kingdom..(though I tend to use a 48" OLED mostly and leave the project for the missus to watch tv).
A lot of movies including many big budget films are still shot in 2k and mastered in 2k dcp's using Arri Alexa cameras for photography. Then we upres with the compression codecs used for home distribution. There are options for 4k and higher with Arri and other manufacturers but cinematographers put more emphasis on sensor sizes that gather more data with each pixel and the color science involved in the process. 4k and higher resolutions can cause problems in post production with the massive amounts of data gathered from an uncompressed cinema grade sensor and processor. And if not managed properly can actually look worse than film because of the compression used in the workflow.
Hey Jay! Sorry, this is off topic for this video. I'm not sure if you saw this, but Seasonic has placed "cable bending" advice on their KB articles. Last I heard, using a heat source on any electrical wiring is a bad idea, even a "gentle" source like a hair dryer. 🤔🤷

And you can get the projector to optically align perfectly. Just takes some time and proper placement. I do it all the time at work.

How are the black levels? I know it's probably not amazing but I've always wanted to get an opinion for those lower prices ViewSonic models.
4K 60 rocks for city builders like Terraformers, certain simulations like Kerbal Space or Flight Sims, strategy titles like Civilization, most types of office work, video editing, 4K youtube, 4K Netflix, etc
You can have just as much fun playing multiplayer 60 fps as anything. It's not perfect but its nice.
@@BlackJesus8463 Yeah it depends on the game and how competitive you are.
I like your background design, feels very comfy, sofa feels soft
I like how Nick is just casually in the background doing various things the entire time. It was amusing/cool (I get that that's their space and Jay is "on the floor" as he put it & nick was purposely playinh something in the background to test the projector more, so yes I know that's why, I'm just saying it is funny to see).
Nick is waiting for you to draw him like one of your french girls haha
The JVC projectors can do 4k 120hz or 1080p 240hz
The JVC Nz9 and JVC NZ8 can also do 8k 60
but how much do they cost?
@@tjflashtony yup and can do the 4k 120/1080p240. The 240 is experimental atm iirc
@@lyianx more than this pile of garbage. Plus can actually be used as a good HT projector unlike this.
I liked how you imagined a 1000in screen and then thought that was too small and referenced a 40ft screen, which is half as large.
He said 1000 inch, not foot.
@@kutark u right, that was a typo on my part, fixed. My comment still stands lol.

3:02 Nick; "Let the Boss work, I will take my break on the sofa!" love it. LOL
Projectors have a special niche case for splitscreen and couch coop gaming. it's so much easier to give a good view for 4 people when you're not scrunched up in front of a small screen.
My assessments in no particular order:
- I don't mind the readjustments when switching from sources. That's a source limitation
- Remote can be magnetically stored on top and sides of projector
- Flat surface height adjustment changed to scroll wheel foot
- 2-part dust cover for rear I/O for protection, access, and aesthetics.
- Backlit controls on projector.
- Support for a wide variety of wireless, low latency HDMI devices.
I would love to see this tested on a PC tower or laptop! Let us see what it can truly do with powerful hardware =D
Same here it was super fun with Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
Lol at Nick just chilling on the couch in the background.
I have been 4k gameing on my benq for years. Its amazing. Its hard sometimes to go from 120” to my 43” pc screen sometimes.
Nick just casually chilling back there...love it! lol
Remember if you're running through a receiver/processor, the video section of that must also support the resolution and refresh rates you're desiring from the projector (or any display). HDMI will always default to the lowest common denominator.
I had a mitsu hc1500 dlp projector back in 2009. Shone it on a 120inch screen with my xb 360. Was glorious. Only way to go imo.
"An order of magnitude of half" LMAO
Literally came to comments to see if nobody else noticed it, lol.
Was Nick getting paid for laying on the couch then Jay LOL
lol yall would hate me, my projector setup is just a clean white painted wall and my projector is some high end epson from 15 years ago, i put a generic replacement light in it off amazon so it makes a constant buzzing noise like coil whine sound, but i enjoy it lol. its bright enough to watch with the lights on and with a 7.1 surround you cant hear it whining 😂
Good job Nick! Sitting there and working telepathically through Jay.
I remember running Halo on the massive school project. Playing on a movie theater size screen is just a different experience.
nice!
Liked for Nick chilling in the background.
So this was perfect timing because I was wondering if there was a projector for gaming!
check the acer gd711 i got one and its pretty dope
Yeah! Some of these cheap projectors look great on a white wall in a dark room. I think I saw one for $70 thats way too good for its price.
I would consider it, but for the money, I can get a powerful gaming PC and 4K 120hz tv that supports all the stuff it doesn't.
Or any friends I’d care to let in there… 😂
It's not even that bad. I mean if you're used to loading screens you can take the time to scratch your butt or something.
Nice "guy on the couch" (half baked movie) 😂😂
My mom has a 1080p native, 4k supported projector at 150 inches for $100. I was shocked at how good it looked. My dad even bought one for his house it looked so good, lol. My mom is 77 and my dad is 80, so it actually helps them see their TV better.
$100??
Is that after a 90% discount??
🤣🤣🤣
No $100 MSRP projector looks good.
This is the 3T Gaming Comment Pro™. It features all of the nits and very wow fps with so much Dolby Atmos super-sonic silence.

I find that the 85-90 inch size is pretty good. If the screen gets any bigger than that gaming becomes more cumbersome. Its a do it all size.

i still remember back in highschool when someone brought their xbox 360 and we all started playing halo and cod on the last few days of school
it was pretty fun back then but i bet this would be even better (probably even better than my tcl 50" 4k60 hdr10 roku tv)
TI doesn't take gaming seriously but they should meet the HDMI 2.1 standard.
Nick in the back of the shot......on Jay's casting couch!!!!😂
Some careful position calibration happening on the couch
Just nick chilling on his phone in the background changing positions everytime it cuts.
bought a 120hz projector early this year and i love it, has its weaknesses for sure, but i still prefer it most of the time for gaming
This was very cool thanks for covering it!
1440p is almost just as good but requires significantly less power. It's more than enough value to wait out the 4K gaming wars.
@proprietarycurez8463 if you have a 1440p display sure. but it is a very significant and noticeable difference between 1440p and 4K
1st scene when Nick was sitting on the couch in the background made me go "hmmm". Next scene when he was laying down I giggled. The next scene I expected Nick to be sitting upside down on the courch on his phone and I don't think I've been more dissapointed in my life when the couch was empty. They should made buttons on the remote to switch the resolution. Think that would have made it nice.
Love the channel man! I just built myself recently a brand new Pc! I went from a prebuilt Ryzen 5 3600 with a gtx 1660 super to a custom one. Ryzen 7 7700x, aorus b650m Elite Ax, g-skill trident z5 6000mhz, Gigabyte 4070 Windforce oc, 360mm Link AIO from corsair, 3tb of storage, Psu 850 gold and the case is a Sama Ar01 black. I'd love to know your thoughts on it! Either way keep what you're doing! It also lets me get more knowledge about Pc's and more! 😎🤘
(25 years of being a live event/ broadcast video engineer) So to expect that in a $1600 home projector is kinda asking a lot.
i love how people are probably asking in all the videos "wheres nick?!?" Jay said: You want Nick!?! I'LL GIVE YOU NICK!!!!
Reminding me of all the hours I spent playing World of Tanks and Minecraft on my old projector pointed across our landing. Good times
Judging from how often Nick is changing positions, I don't think that couch is very comfortable! LOL 8:07 Now he's at the computer! You guys are funny, love it.
Nick making sure you stay in line. Watching you like a hawk.
I have an older one. Acer. Not happy with the resolution (720p) Looking to upgrade. For me tvs have got to big to move. I like the portability.
I use my 100" short through 4k tri-laser projector for my switch, it somehow still looks glorious playing Tears of the Kingdom..(though I tend to use a 48" OLED mostly and leave the project for the missus to watch tv).
NORTHBRIDGE FIX VIDEO UPDATE AS PROMISED!!!!!!!
I remember being at a party years ago where they used a projector to play Wii sports games on the wall. Kinda have wanted one ever since.
Hey Jay! Sorry, this is off topic for this video. I'm not sure if you saw this, but Seasonic has placed "cable bending" advice on their KB articles. Last I heard, using a heat source on any electrical wiring is a bad idea, even a "gentle" source like a hair dryer. 🤔🤷
As someone with a similar setup, fast moving games can make you feel sick. It is absolutely great for local multiplayer games though.
