    Terrific video..love the vanity...planning on doing the same in our master bathroom soon! Big box stores cheaply made cabinets are too high.. I take pride in making my own things.

      I think that is awesome. I looked at many vanities and could not find one i thought would fit well. This one is perfect for the height I wanted. Good luck I would love to see what you make.

    Great build Ken. The stain looks really nice. It seems like there is always something that comes up to put a wrench into our plans. I look forward to the big finale when you put it all together. I enjoyed the video Ken.

      This thing is solid. I was worried when I decided to use pocket holes, but with the glue I think I could throw this off the roof and it would dent the drive way. lol.

      Depending on the sink. The bottom shelf sits at 15" and the sink drain sits at 16". The sink I am looking at will sit on the top of the vanity and two wholes will be drilled in the top. One for the sink drain the other for the water spicket.

      Haha, I did. I took forever. But damn this thing looked good in the end. The people that bought my house made it a condition of the sale that I leave it for them to install. I was gonna take it with me since I never installed it.

      Unfortunately or rather fortunately I sold the house before I installed this. Sorry.

    Did you film adding the sink? I can't find that video. I'd love to see what you ended up doing.

    • @MoonpieCreations
      @MoonpieCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately I did not film it. I sold the house and helped the new owner install it. All we did was cut two holes undersize for the sinks and ran the pipe from the wall. I did secure with fasteners and caulk the vanity to the wall.

    I like when a guy on the video says is very simple and it come up with bad ass tools that I can't afford 🤣🤣 tools more expensive than the vanity itself 🤣🤣🤣

      I love when a guy comments on a video that someone does things with bad ass tools when they are mostly Harbor Freight or other cheaper tools. 😂😂😂

    How much money do you spend doing this Vanity?

    • @MoonpieCreations
      @MoonpieCreations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm, the ash was $1 a BF at Advantage Trim and Lumber as cut-offs. The oak I got a great deal on. I used maybe $18 worth of it on the base and $18 on the top. Around $15 screws and glue. So about $100, but I got great deals on the wood.

    Your vacuum hose didn’t do its job bc the fence is supposed to be closer so your board runs against the fence

    • @MoonpieCreations
      @MoonpieCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha, I got you now. Had to go back and see what you were talking about. But I really don't think it would have made a difference. as the chips coming off clogged the small hose line. Thanks.

  • @rolandjarvis6491
    @rolandjarvis6491 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not simple at all. I consider myself handy, and even I don't own the major tools you used here.

    • @MoonpieCreations
      @MoonpieCreations  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can do all this with a table saw pocket hole jig and router
