  • This is video two in the series of How to Make a Single Sink Bathroom Vanity.
Normally I would not devote a whole video to making legs for a vanity, but I had some questions on facebook. So I decided to go ahead and show the steps I took to make the legs.

Pocket screws? I was hoping for mortise and tenon joints. I am jealous of that tapering jig. Can't wait to see the finished project.

If you were hoping for tenon joints your going to be waiting a long time. lol. I won that jig about two years ago in a drawing from a TH-cam channel. Can't remember which one.

Didn't realize you were a woodworker as well as a turner (yes, I consider those two different wood skills). Saw the blooper reel and thought it looked awesome!

Thanks, I do a lot of wood work. The turning videos get more views so I usually don't video the woodworking.

I expected you to sing ZZ Top- “He’s got legs, knows how to make them...” Liked seeing you use the tapering jig so I can dust mine off and use it too!

It's so easy to use and makes for a nice looking leg.

Why didnt you use dowel pins instead of pocket hole screws? They are better for cabinets i thought, not structural? (You have a sink top on there, people leaning on it etc)

Glue and pocket holes will hold just fine. Trust me. Pocket Holes get a bad wrap but I made my workbench with them and it has held up for 6 years.

You must not do a lot of woodworking. This is a basic and simple build.
