Thanks for the review. I've had these on wheels and an 8lb trx4 for about a month now. The foams are soft, so theirs alot of sidewall squat. But.. I like that in a tire. Some people don't, so purchase a firmer foam. The tread and compound are top notch! Everyone at the local indoor course has been asking what they are , because they work.
Nice review! Looking to replace ageing Hyrax on my Element Enduro. Would these or Tusks be a better overall choice? I don't comp. I take the truck on the local hiking trails. Some very steep pitches and all kinds of surfaces. Sometimes Hyrax struggles in the loose stuff but of course they are excellent on the rocks so definitely don't want to feel like I have downgraded. Thanks!
That's a good looking tire. When I got my first set of aftermarket tires for my TRX Bronco, I went with the Proline Flat Irons over the Hyrax strictly because of looks. I know the Hyrax would perform better, but I just am not a fan of the tread pattern. Doesn't look like a real existing tire where the Flat Irons do. The tire in this review definitely looks as though it's got both aspects covered in one tire. Probably get me a set of these and a second set of beadlocks. My Flat Irons are still like new and I still run them yet and that's why I would get a second set of beadlocks. Guess I'll start looking for my next set of wheels. XD.

@@SebastianLong I to have flat irons on my trx4 blazer I love them! I like the way they look and perform,in my opinion there better than hyrax's at least for the crawling/trailing I do. Definitely going to try these"landmines" out!
Dude, I DO NOT NEED THIS right now. I JUST bought 8 Hyrax tires! Having said that, it's interesting to see how seriously RC tire companies are being about designing effective tread patterns nowadays. It reminds me of the "tire revolution" in mountain biking in the late 90's, when mountain bike tires stopped being festooned with square rubber blocks and started to have intricate tread patterns.
Wow well those tires look good and they have an amazing grip to bad for my I just buy the proline predator tires super soft compound. But I love those tires great review dude👍🏼

Impressive. I have hyrax and flat pan (got flat pan by accident. Hyrax: excellent rock abilities and came with great form Flat pa: equals the hyrax trailing but not on rocks and came with 2 foam similar to the hyrax and 2 that are too soft which I put on rear. Is that what you would do? I will try these tires on my 3rd trx4 Great video as usual my friend!
@@RCReviewChannel We like Tires comparison in our RC garage (starting from cheap Austar, to Traxxas Canyon Trail, to Duratrax Deep Woods, to Duratrax Showdown...), we have a big box full of tires and try continuosly different vehicle/tires combination. Duratrax Deep Woods are better for light Axial, while Duratrax Showdown are suitable for heavy Traxxas. Today we had a match between TRX4 Bronco with standard tires vs TRX4 Sport with Duratrax Showdown in wet and partially muddy rocks... really interesting..! Duratrax Showdown in our opinion/experience has a bit advantage over Traxxas Canyon Trail. The comparison we will like is about a larger set of good tires, because we are in Italy and is not so easy to buy some kind of good tires... and it costs more for shipment and taxes, than raw goods ! I hope to have answered in a clear way. Thanks for your good daily job, we appreciate it so much !
RC Review it’s a TRX4 Sport with Gmade steel beadlocks. It does have the expedition rack on it currently, but if I’m on the local course I’ll probably remove that. Probably that’s about 7.5lbs
It’d be a neat comparison of TRX4 stock tires with proline dual stage foam vs Hyrax with standard foam or these JConcepts tires with their standard foams.
For the first two packs, it's a winner. With the price and foams included, yes. We'll have to see about their, soil and sidehill performance as that's the weakness of the Hyrax. Also durability, we'll see.

I tried them with pro line double stage and they were so so but using the hard part of pro line with cut original foam, they worked very well

Nice review but my new found fovourite's are BF Goodrich Krawler's in predator compound, i find them better than Hyrax in the wet.
Interesting review great looking tread pattern might consider going this route for my next set of tires great 👍 job on the video

If you are rock crawling, dual stage will always be a lot better. Not to say that single stage won't get you by.
