Dual Combination is why I personally prefer MvC to MvC2. More tag games outside of wrestling should allow situations where you can bring out your entire team for a limited time.
One of the reasons I liked BBTag. Very simplistic versions of every character but I loved the tag mechanics and being able to actively switch with your assist during their attack was cool

After I felt like I got as good as I could get, I put all the Marvel stuff away in like 2004-ish and moved onto playing other genres of games. Seeing Max and Justin play this stuff, I'm seeing how much I didn't understand. I didn't understand how to properly use assists ever or how to usefully string supers into tag supers. For MvC, I'm seeing I didn't understand how to use the dual character timed supers at all.

So what is it about the Japanese Rom that even though there is no difference, they feel different in game? For whatever strange reason, the Japanese Rom just doesn't come off as, Responsive to the Inputs as the American which then leads to some Gameplay Differences because of different results. I mean granted there is a lot of Online Voodoo, where A user begins to invent difference, or Misunderstand some Networking issues that may have been happening during a specific time that then creates a Perception of Lag at all times even when the issues are fixed. But I could do a Blind test, just load up a random game and from the get go something is off, and the way you find out if you got the Japanese Rom is when you go to do an Air combo and it's an Ariel Rave. I simply search for English only and BAM! Win or Lose it doesn't matter the game feels how I believe it should and thus less Dropped inputs. I personally was Convinced it was all in my head until other people kept saying something similar about growing dislike for the Japanese Rom of any of the games in the collection. Anyone else have a similar experience and now simply prefer to search for the English ROMs?
zangief venomd is 10-0 for venom. jab venom fang stops literally everything zangief can do besides super armor mode and that you can generally keep him pushed back enough with it you're fine. You took hits from using the other strengths of the fang which can be punished in certain situations.
Max! My brother and I used to dread our older brothers triple zangief team . Thats one thing the collection doesnt have is the ability to choose 3 of the same . Although it sounds like a cheat it was so fun and we would fuck each other up . What do you think should they have added that feature or keep as is ?
On playstation I almost only get paired with diamond players, or rookies. No silver or gold. So I'll spend an hour getting only 30 points per game against rookies and bronze, then I'll play a diamond player once for 107 points. Then back to rookie and bronze.
Also G.Machine can’t block or fly. Which makes him super vulnerable to beam supers. As a regular WarMachine player, I honestly don’t understand why people say he’s broken. You can easily zone him out and melt him with beam supers.
Yeah I remember taking Spiderman and hulk against any team and easily winning. I was a bit hurt when he said hulk doesn't have many combos. Wish I could get a ps5 and this game and get back to where I used to be. I loved these games!

Max's air conbo ender (qcf-jab) on Strider is a very unsafe one, you can be combo'ed if your opponent quick roll on that.

There's an option for selecting multiple of the same character in Marvel 2, if that's what you mean.

What's up with gold machine and red venom? Aren't they the same as war machine and venom? I don't remember there being a difference other than colors.
