I'm still rather new to crypto (about a month since I started) and only invested a small amount I call "learning money" to try out as many things as I can, make all the newbie mistakes, experience full-fledged FOMO and FUD (and later find out these terms exist) and learn as much as I can. Your videos have definitely helped me a lot with the learning part and I am very grateful to you! So I'm still figuring out my strategy and I think I'd fall in the second category. Although with time and experience I may gravitate toward the first or the third. We'll see. Again, thank you for all the information you provide and the way you present it. I've learned more from you than from all the other channels (still good ones, mind you) combined. My second lambo is yours :)
Great informative video as usual . Long term investor 5yr+ picking out 15 coins sit back and watch it grow. NO STRESS. How do you manage a highly profitable portfolio when holding 15 quality coins, it is great to see the coins in the green but when they have increased in value by a large % , how do you manage it to turn it into wealth because until you sell, it is only paper value not hard cash ? I think a lot of your followers would be interested in a short video on this topic. Keep up the great work
Another great video Nick - helps to reflect on your approach to crypto investing. I'm in that last category but didn't really consider it high risk cos I feel diversification mitigates risk. Hold about 60 cryptos - 45% in ETH and BTC, 35% midcaps and 20% small caps. I only sell to get my original investment out and let everything else ride for the long term, adding to positions on dips. I continue to learn a lot from your videos, keep up the good work.
Definitely blue chip at the moment, but I want to become more middle-down. Hopefully I can do that as I become more comfortable with TA! Needless to say, your channel has already been an immense help with that!
As your portfolio increases, safety on how to store them gets more and more important. So everyone grows into a blue chip style investor when doing well.
Wow! Thanks for this ep Nic! I have 70-80 over coins & I've been thinking lately that I may be on the wrong track, but after watching this realized that I am indeed the high risk investor number 3 U mentioned here.. It's funny cos, whenever there's a major market crash, I seem to still be holding up 30-50% gains in my overall portfolio, so maybe I am doing something right! This has been so insightful! Thank U! ;-D
For me I m at 30% Bitcoin - 15% Etherium - 15% Neo - Smaller holdings in LTC, OMG, Dash, Golem, TenX and Iota. I have also recently thrown my hat in the ring with a couple of ICS's that don;t have coins trading yet such as PowerLedger and Kick. I researched these ICO's and reckon they have good business plans and potential to succeed.
The distribution of cryptos is one thing BUT...what is the ideal approach when it comes to managing these portfolios: 1 ) Hodl 100% dont look back for a year? 2) Set trailing stops? 3) Set profit taking? 4) Trade actively based on TA, rumors/news, etc... This is where I struggle...I'm not sure HOW TO MANAGE the portfolio, not so much WHAT TO PICK Can you do a video on how to manage a portfolio one you have picked your 10-20+ based on your risk profile? THANKS!!
You have to diversify this way: Hypster, Speculator & Investor. If you hold longterm BTC, Litecoin, ETH, Dash, Ripple -- > Investor ( minimum 8- 20 years ) Midterm ---> Neo, Stratis, Nem, Bitshares, Pivx ---> Speculator ( 1 - 2 years ) Hypster ---> Almost every ICO & POS Coins.& Satoshi Cryptos
Nice video Nick! It helped me understand where I fit into things. I'm currently running closer to the middle down approach with about 15 different coins, though I have to invest more into large cap (BTC/LTC/ETH) in my portfolio to really meet the definition. I'm keeping an open mind and open ears to the crypto space and evaluating all the data that comes in to help make, what I feel, are the best decisions I can make. Your videos honestly help laymen and budding crypto investors like myself Nick and I truly appreciate it.
another great video Nicholas! Little frustrated with starting with crypto currencies and accounts. Some exchanges have some cryptocurrencies others don't.....blah blah blah. High fees and ridiculous waiting periods for USD deposits. Makes people want to shy away from cryptocurrencies, which can be good and bad.
Michael Fidelis I'm in the uk and is not worth the hasstle depositing cash using international bank transfer (£15 fee! Plus 10 day wait!), so I buy using a peer to peer service in the uk (solidi in uk or localbitcoin in Finland I think) then just transfer to an exchange in bitcoin, then buy alts with the bitcoin.. Its the cheapest way.
I can only afford 100 bucks, which means that I have to start off blue chip, use profit from it for middle down, then any profit from it for high risk investment. That's my strategy and I hope it works! Best strategy I can think of with a minimum of bucks!! :-D
Binge watching your videos. So happy I found your channel because I like your approach and you seem more trustworthy than other cryptocurrency TH-camrs I've watched. I feel like they just want to talk about "get rich quick" approaches. Thanks for talking about the basics of these strategies. I've heard about cryptocurrency mining. What do you think of this? Or have you already addressed it in a video?
Hey Nick, what would you say are good levels to purchase some KNC at? I'm thinking a partial at 40,000 sats and adds at 30,000 and 20,000, but how low do you think it'll realistically dump?
I see mysterium is rother low...when I do fibonacci I see is rother low... I am a little sceptical because I don't know why it went so low. Does anyone have a good advice, is it good to buy or wait that can go even much lower?
right now all my asset on DOGE, OST, LSK, ADX, ZCASH, and DASH.. i already have some profit from all of these, like LSK i've got 3 times profit.. but still i gonna hold these for around 3 months more if things look 'decent', pick the fruit and look something else juicy..
Hey Nick another Great Video! Just wondering what you think of the new ICO for a new decentralised VPN, Privatix? I know you were very optimistic about Mysterium.
what do you think of NXS? it's had a 41% pullback in the last week. seems to have great core values, projects and quality team. do you think it has possibility of adoption and acceptance? good buy on the cheap, undervalued?
Looks like bitcoin is about to have a crossover on the daily MACD chart, this signals a possible breakout?? I'm a complete newb, but looks good to me! Not checked the other moving averages yet though.. Anyone got a more pro opinion?
I love your simple explanation. I am def a risk taker because I have no other income due to health. My father is giving me 1000 today to invest for him. He wants a 100% return before November 1st so I must invest wisely. He is well off and has never invested in anything more than 401k and SS. If you had to pick one stock to get 1000 dollar return before November first what would you pick? At any moment during this weekend into next week GAS IS GOING ON ANOTHER SUPER RUN, along with ADX(heading towards 3 dollar mark by 2018), Patientory, I like Rise and cloak but see no long term for cloak. but TRST has VITALIK on the team and I'm def interested. But I wouldn't consider just any. I seem to be super gifted when it comes to numbers, I could look down at a credit card, phone #, Drivers License ID even hexadecimal I seem to have a near IDETIC memory and the ability to find and see patterns in graphs, numbers, even regula stocks, commodities, etf's etc(my recommendation reg stock market is def TSX:Aphria, TSX:Weed, A few others. but most of all this works best with crypto. I see patterns and have devised a method for getting in on coins that are on a single day run most likely pump and dump. My biggest issue is cashing out I never know when to call it quits and sometimes ends up costing me. How to know if a crypto will rise and hold or pump and dump. DataDash I owe you for helping me so much, we seem to have a lot of same opinions. I have some deep almost inside knowledge on some upcoming companies/ICO's RUN by Vitalik and Partners. Also, a NEW ICO that will be HUGE. I know when to get in and get out. If it is the day of the run and the volume is increasing rapidly as it slows the coin value goes up as demand meets supply until more is added.
33th :) 3minutes online, duration 9 minutes and already 9, uh 10 likes. Nick what do u think about the derivates etc and how the big money is earned there, with manipulating the price. Just like the stock market
hahahahahaha Jesus Christ never existed, he was a fairy tale made by powerful Romans, go lecture yourself. Oh and cheer the fuck up Joseph, try to spot humor once and a while (if you can).
Data Dash is more of a lord and savior than Jesus. I personaly think Nick has helped more people than Jesus. Why? Because he didnt get THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of people tortured, oppressed and manipulated in his name. I mean think what you will of your so called entity, but dont IMPOSE on others what they should think, or what maybe thats a world wide pattern of the Church? hmmm....
The more you talk the more you prove yourself to be the fool. Remember this day, write it down so you don't forget. When you take your last breath remember what you said. Have a nice trip.
Hej Nick, what do you think will happen when crypto market will be filled with your fans, with that I mean people with some knewlege in crypto trading. It seems to me that all spculations now rely on fact that some people make stupid desigions (sell low, buy high), but what if noone did that, and we would all be just waiting for that sell offer that would never come on the high, and when we all wanted to buy at the low, there would be no offers to do so... it would be interesting situation, don't you think? Would market crash?
Why is it all opinion based? I mean I've seen a lot of cryptos, but the only scalable one is IOTA. What I am baffled about is why people are not seing that. None of these other coin a suitable for mass adoption. Blockchain is obsolete, tangle is the future.

must be doing something wrong or i'm high risk investor (or just supern00b). almost got no eth and at the moment no BTC at all in my portfolio since I put everything into other coins mid to small caps :-\

I'm a hybrid. 80% mid cap, 20% small cap. Mid: Neo, Ark, Lisk, Waves, OMG, IOTA, Ten X... Small: PTOY, WTC, UBQ. Pretty stoked on my strategy.
who else liked even before the intro finished?
I liked before the vid even started, before the ad ;)
haha, thats because you already know its gonna be great!!
Me I watch Nick daily. He is a good teacher. He doesn't just throw stuff at you. Great explainations. Thanks Nick

what wallet do u use for these many coins? Or are you keeping them in the xchage?

Watching all your old videos. Lots of things to learn. Thank you
Crazy notification squad!

@Kaybe23
I like your style
Currently, I’m a middledown investor:
$783 Bitcoin
$683 Litecoin
$425 Ethereum
$1200 NEO
$95 ADX
$90 Monaco
You could additionally split it up into sectors by what kind of coin/function the tech has.
What a great video and the beauty of this is it applies easily to anyone hoping to invest in stocks and not cryptos, too.
Great vid. Using this as a start point of principles for investing in cryptocurrency.
Nice video Nick! It helped me understand where I fit into things. Blue Chip! Slow and steady works for me!
Hi, Would u mind doing a video on Stratis? It reaches its mid-term bottom. What do you think of its next step?
Nice work man I'm 16 and going to start vids soon, I'm sought of the middle down category tbh all though I have a lot of eth
another great video Nicholas! Little frustrated with starting with crypto currencies and accounts. Some exchanges have some cryptocurrencies others don't.....blah blah blah. Michael Fidelis I'm in the uk and is not worth the hasstle depositing cash using international bank transfer (£15 fee! I'd do a hybrid of "middle down" with some risk taker coins, hypothetically.
Great info bro. I am new to bitcoin and cc and your channel great. keep up the great work.

I bought livebetcoin this coin looks promising
I think im definitly a risk taker, but you still got to have common sense and diversify with solid coins that will continue to grow in the long run
i began as a risk taker but want to slowly move up into blue chip, actually limited funds made me a risktaker by default lol
Great video again! Thanks Nick :)
Thank you for skipping Bcash in the top 5 as a large cap ;) Excellent!
Again, great video and great info.
I'm a NEO and ARK believer, in that order.
Thanks for all your hard work.
Please. Please, keep it up =)
Binge watching your videos.
Or have you already addressed it in a video?
in all those possibilities..should you try to buy the dips of the coins or just dollar cost averaging ?
Awesome video!

Which platform do you use to exchange fiat for crypto? Thanks :) awesome work

ambitious
mid down investor seems legit
Gosh! I came 7th!
right now all my asset on DOGE, OST, LSK, ADX, ZCASH, and DASH.. i already have some profit from all of these, like LSK i've got 3 times profit.. but still i gonna hold these for around 3 months more if things look 'decent', pick the fruit and look something else juicy..
What are your thoughts on the overall valuations in the crypto market though? Most market caps seem over the top.
Hello! Newbie here, what does a cap mean?. What do you mean by large caps, mid caps etc?
chino market capitalization.🤠
What are your picks for the small caps ?
SAFX or SEC. High Risk High Reward
Powerpoint game strong!
50% in POTcoin & 50% in THCcoin! "Man".. Cough cough.. Trippy.
Great tip, informative review. But can I ask what percentage of income an investor should out into any of the portfolio?
Hey Nick another Great Video! Just wondering what you think of the new ICO for a new decentralised VPN, Privatix? I know you were very optimistic about Mysterium.

I'd like the 2nd option
High Risk High Reward! :)
Research :: Where is the best places for research on new upcoming cryptos ? ICO s?
Looks like bitcoin is about to have a crossover on the daily MACD chart, this signals a possible breakout?? I'm a complete newb, but looks good to me! Not checked the other moving averages yet though.. Anyone got a more pro opinion?

Risk taker and can you have a video on steps to secure your wallets and accounts, and what are the racket of hackers and account email stealers.
Hey Nick, can you please do a video for the wallets as well? both hard and online please
33th :) 3minutes online, duration 9 minutes and already 9, uh 10 likes. Nick what do u think about the derivates etc and how the big money is earned there, with manipulating the price. Just like the stock market
yeah its fucking amazing, it truly represents what our lord and savior Data Dash is, success beyond limits.
You have a problem much bigger than making a buck, referring to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in such a
blasphemous manner.
hahahahahaha Jesus Christ never existed, he was a fairy tale made by powerful Romans, go lecture yourself.
Oh and cheer the fuck up Joseph, try to spot humor once and a while (if you can).

NEO at $4, OMG at $4, PAY at $1 and a shitload of SAFEX & VERGE.

I guess I fall under Blue Chip. But Blue Chip Crypto investor is like saying you're the shortest giraffe at the zoo ;)
Where do you buy your cryptocurrencies?
You forgot the Chad; all in NEO
Sick!
Are we still expecting bitcoin to go down ?
Im a mix of the middle down and high risk haha
Why are you not on Steemit? I'm a great fan I watch your videos everyday
Blue chip with occasional mid-caps for me
Neo&WALTONCHAIN!!!
mm, im a middle down trader it seems ... didn't know that :D
Why is it all opinion based? I mean I've seen a lot of cryptos, but the only scalable one is IOTA. What I am baffled about is why people are not seing that. None of these other coin a suitable for mass adoption. Blockchain is obsolete, tangle is the future.
how about a live chat about now, price action is very interesting......
Any thoughts on pillar, atb coin and tezos anyone??
I really want to buy ARK and LISK really I do, they just need to pull back. Now is not the time.
We hold 34 different coins and 2 icos
