this guy is so great.... a good teacher doesn't stumble over words, doesn't use the wrong word when he means to use the wright words. reiterates the important stuff, never repeats the unimportant stuff, doesn't go off on tangents. i had so many teachers and professors who could learn how to teach from Nick (even unrelated subjects) Nick not only teaches crypto well he teaches well period.
Excellent lesson. Thanks so much! Just going from this: Pullback from $3,000 - $1,800 was around 40%, just like the one from $5,000 to $3,000. This may suggest that a next big high could potentially be around the $8,000 or $8,500, as a 40% pullback would bring us down again to around the $4,800-$5,100 level.
Thanks for your tips Nick! I am very new to the crypto world. Been watching you and the charts for the past 4 months. Bought a share at 3,360 and another at 3,500. Your knowledge is by far some of the most helpful on the TH-cam space. Keep up the great work :)
One more time Nick you hit the ball outta the park! I'm still laughing about your 50K video & I wanted to share something with you: The very best teachers understand that for another person to pay attention to what they are teaching, the student has to be interested in it. Humor is one of the best ways to hold someone's attention. THX so much for your technical analysis videos, you have been a big help to me, I too think we're just at the beginning of something very special with crypto & look forward to the ride. 7-3's!
Ive just been playing around on charts with cryptos and stocks and Im so happy I can now look at them and not think WTF is this shit!! Thank you so much, I wish you nothing but success in what ever you do in the future!
My guy nick hooking us up again! Appreciate it bro, am loving this mini series you got going on. Keep up the great work and congrats on 50k brother, you deserve it!
Hey Nick, I keep coming back to these videos. Watched them months ago, yet I'm soaking in the information much better now. Thank you so much for teaching me and all of us. I never knew how much I would love trading and you're one of people that got me into it. Many thanks to you brother :)
"If we make it to perhaps 6 or 7000" 🤣🤣🤣 remember those days Lol! Great videos Nick you've taught me heaps from your trading tips and I'm making gains :)
Aplying these three and the other tips, MACD, BB and etç. I belive It Will be much more easy to us Win the game. Thanks a lot Mr Merten. Cheers from Brazil.
Nick do you do requests? Please do a video on how you handle the technical details of trading. I (and I'd imagine others, as well) have a million little questions that may not merit their own videos, but would love some advice on: -Do you transfer your coins to a wallet until you are ready to make a trade (for security); or do you accept the risks of leaving a larger amount on the exchange (for convenience, speed, lingering "moon" Order Limits). -Do you consider altcoins strictly in reference to their satoshi value and completely disregard how they trade against USD(T)? Do you prefer trading against USDT/switch reference? ** Also, for those who just got involved in the last bull run, BEFORE learning strategy ** If you found yourself upside down (didn't setup Stop Orders) on a coin you fundamentally believe in long term, but got in at a god awful time (*cough* NEO) when/how would you cut your losses? How do you weigh the current loss against the opportunity costs of those bags holding up funds that could be doing more productive things? Set the over-priced coins aside, in a dusty offline wallet as a sunk cost? Would that deter you from buying and trading that same currency with better strategy going forward? Setup up a Stop Order asap with a potentially huge loss (how conservatively priced)? Ride it down to zero? Of course none of us here would do anything so foolish-- asking for a friend ;-) Absolutely legendary videos, man. Keep up the great work.
I have watched just two of your videos and I already love your channel. Even subscribed after the first one. You talk with fundamental knowledge and I realize that in every sentence you say. Keep it up!
I did pretty much the same thing you did, Nick, but I usually buy alts with ETH. Then take profits from alts and sell them into BTC which gets locked away on the Ledger. My way to amass BTC
Panic mode : XVG is shit coin. So i bought even before watching this tutorial, just went with my gut! And bam loving your videos man. So short yet so informative! 😇♥️🖤
You ruined me Data Dash. The first thing in the morning I do iss to watch ur video and gain something. You will go a long way Bro. Kudos on ur 50k bruh, many more to come.
I'm new to crypto and loving your channel. You offer really good advice, thank you! I should also say I'm very impressed by your depth of knowledge (on both crypto and technical analysis) at such a young age.
I am not in the crypto market yet, but I am learning a lot from watching these videos. I am hoping to learn before I make any huge mistakes or missteps. I have watched a lot of videos on crypto and taxes and I am still confused. Is that a topic you will cover?
Nick you mention how you want to invest vs Bitcoin if you're diversifying into altcoins, and that coin vs fiat evaluation shouldn't really be your comparison point. What if you don't currently own BTC but are investing fiat for the first time into alt coins, wouldn't the TA vs fiat matter more than vs BTC at that point?
Great stuff, as always Nick. You called that 3000$ bottom like a BOSS! If it is not too much truble, please mention NEO in you next video, I think NEO has been a bit left out for a vhile now. Keep up the great work you are doing, I love your videos, and aprichiate the knowlege you are spreading.
Jonathan Bray I believe the idea is all non-approved ICOs will not be part of the NEO platform. Think about it, this can really only be considered a good thing for the longevity of NEO. If you don't think so then buy ETH, cuz all these "totally legit" ICOs will have no choice but to go to a big name platform like ETH..... right? NEO seems much more interested in preserving its image and credibility in the long term than taking people's money and tanking like ETH most likely will, due to all the garbage ICOs that were never worth a single thing in the first place. There are over 900 cryptos..... how many can win out in the end? ETH was allowing MANY scammers to use their platform to scam people. You don't even need to know how to create a blockchain when you can easily just fork one and call it FART coin or something crazy. World crypto news has subtly stated on numerous occasions that if things get ugly around here, it's because ETH has ALLOWED this to happen because in the end they knew the price of ETH would skyrocket. Furthermore, IMO they knew what they were doing. It may have been a preemptive strategic move that would usher in massive closures of exchanges and heavy regulation, of course.... in their favor in the end.
Love the video, what strategy do you use if you had a large investment amount choose 30 coins (seen your investment vid 25%-50%-25% between high, mid and low caps) or invest larger amounts on 15 coins ??? Keep up the great work, learning more every time you do a vid, cant wait till you come to the land down under AUS .
great tips, although i really hope you who are trading already know that...i would really like to show us how to use other more technical tools and which are most useful. I personally use: public trend (news, twitter, articles...) trending lines and charts resistance levels (method as you describe it) and fibanochi, macd, moving average. are there any other tools that can be used and find useful in trading?
I finally pulled out of my altcoins with Bitcoin at 3740, should have just used altcoins for the quick rise; instead I got hung on my previous TenX and IOTA and Litecoin; never again; I'll stand on Bitcoin for the pull back to 3500 and then maybe pick a quick rise on altcoins, then bail out to Bitcoin; everything will keep tanking for the moment, until Bitcoin settles. Should have also bailed out of Bitcoin into fiat at 4100$ and wait for a clear sign of rise, instead I get the brunt of the pullback. Two mistakes over another disastrous week. Nick must be saving on fiat/Teher, he's not telling ^^
Nice video I would like to talk with you at tradingview. I like how you explain things not exactly like why it happens but direction is good. Its a good starting point for some people. And yes market is predictable if you look to them everything is pure orders nothing more. Buy dip sell spikes is the way to go but not many people understand what is spike and what is dip and where they happens in what conditions. Not many people even know how order flow works and why it goes in this way. Looking forward to your trading tips for beginners. Even for a guy like me who is involved to markets long time ago its interesting to look. Its good content on youtube not so many you can find around.
Hi Nick! What do you do when the market is starting to correct? Do you convert your altcoins(those ones you are willing to trade) into bitcoin as it looses value at a slower pace than altcoins do or do you convert your altcoins into USD tether? That may be the best option but I have heard a few people saying that USD tether is not good but don't know why. Would you mind explaining that or maybe making a video on that if you haven't done so already? Thank you.
Jiri Havelka during bearish, convert to tether or fiat. During scares of Bitcoin dropping, almost all altcoins lose Bitcoin comparative. During a comeback, it's good to hold 'good' altcoins that tanked hard, then quickly switch back to Bitcoin. Most good altcoins have been losing to Bitcoin over the past few days, including TenX, a favorite of Nick's and one I have been consistently losing on. I had also lost on NEO before the crash, before and during the China mess.
Hey, you keep your btc on a cold wallet and them when its time to sell you always need to transfer them to an exchange to cash out, right? You dont metter about the fees costs to transfer that btc to exchange and transfer again from exchange to wallet?
I definetly noticed the big evens and I am really wondering if a previous even could suggest a slight pull back once it rallies back up, like when btc goes to $5000 again, any thoughts? I have a friend watching ETH, he has his sell at 500$/eth but he should really be looking at where btc is at that point. if there's no big news about ETH at that time and btc is $ 5775.314 or something, then i think he could be losing out
Great info Nick! Hey I been wondering if you can do like a buying strategy. Like lets say you started with a 1000, can you do a demo of how you would diversify that. I remember you say you would invest 1/3, if market goes down buy another 1/3 and if it really dips you would invest the rest. But how about when the market is ATH and you know it's time to get out, how much would you pull off the market?
How do you actually "get out" of bitcoin? At least while it is pulling back. Is there something on the exchange that is backed by USD or anything like that to go to?
At the time of writing, the 2 people who gave the thumbs down are Jamie Dimon and some guy who's pissed that you weren't wearing that colourful suit anymore...
Nick, great tips how to use indicators. Since you are always using trading view could you do a video on it and how to customize it the most effective way. very appreciated. Thanks ;-)
Dear Nick, I dont understand why you value altcoins with BTC or Satoshis? You explained it but its easier with USD or Euro? So i have to calculate everything the satoshis with the USD/EURO?
Because the whole point of trading is to make more bitcoin (more satoshi). Its better to use the satoshi value with altcoins because thats how you make the profit. The thing with the fiat value is that it can go up really high because it goes with bitcoin prices, but the satoshi amount can be the same or either lower.
So this means that the profit is in BTC, but BTC price could go down so is my profit. Instead if i sell my ALT at high for FIAT then i dont take the risk that if i trade BTC for it and the price goes down and so is my profit from the alt..??
I really like your videos .. could you please slow down just a little? You have a ton of wisdom and I would love to catch it all... maybe just a little more info on each point.
Hello I really like your videos... They are very informative and detailed. But I am trading on Poloniex so can you please make a video about "How to get max profit in the daily trading on Poloniex?".
Can someone tell me how the price of crypto goes down in terms of buyer/seller relationship. For example, the more the buyers, the lower the price. Is that a factor?

Hey Nick, would love to hear how you got into markets/crypto ! you have great vlaue to share with the community. thanks

USDT on bittrex for example
i bought OKcash 2 days ago and it dropped like 30% FML. should i sell?
At the time of writing, the 2 people who gave the thumbs down are Jamie Dimon and some guy who's pissed that you weren't wearing that colourful suit anymore...

What sites do you see when you are getting a feel for too much panic or too much hype?
I really like your videos .. could you please slow down just a little? You have a ton of wisdom and I would love to catch it all... maybe just a little more info on each point.
Will you be live streaming tonight ?
Your great
Hello
I really like your videos... They are very informative and detailed.
But I am trading on Poloniex so can you please make a video about "How to get max profit in the daily trading on Poloniex?".
Mad to think what bitcoin is at now!
Hey Nick, Can all these things (include the others videos) use it forex? I know its about how u use it but just asking :)
How do big evens work even though not everyone trades with USD?
Thanks
Can you do another video about the cell wall?
Can someone tell me how the price of crypto goes down in terms of buyer/seller relationship. For example, the more the buyers, the lower the price. Is that a factor?
Can someone explain point 3 in a simple way I got confused with the first part about it?
Seyha Robertson-Zurzolo sell when everyone is cheering and the moon gifs are flying around. Buy when there's blood and fud in the streets.
Miss this Bull run
Scared of pull back ? use a trading platform that allows to short your position, it's twice the fun and twice the profit.
These videos are beaut...
sorry about the coke joke brah
