Very important video. 95% of people should not be trading unless they want to lose money. Trading is a full time job. Most people get into crypto to be liberated financially but if they get sucked into trading, they become a slave to it, which destroys the whole reason they wanted to get into it in the first place. If someone wants to trade they should be doing it with an extremely small percentage of their stack.

Totally agree. If you would've held ethereum from the beginning of this year until now you would've bought in at $8/coin... With ethereum now sitting at $470/coin, you're looking at over a 5000% return. If you're a trader and making more than 5000% this year, please let me know and I'll gladly give you all my moneys :)
this is precisely why almost all professional traders do not trade to increase their USD holdings, but to increase their crypto holdings. for those who have increased their ETH holdings through the year, they have by default beat the 5000% USD returns.

I really need to stop second guessing myself when it comes to buying into a crypto. Was going to buy SUB at $0.13 and then $0.18 but didn't... it's now at $0.36
i was like that with IOTA. 0.33 than i bough at .80.. Bought SUB at 0.14 tho :)

what will you like to know about cryptocurrency?
there's more than 1000 coins ,so which one to invest or trade ?
it's easy to say if you just hold bitcoin from 2011 or 2015 till now you would have 100x or 10x your investment, but in reality probably 1 in 10,000 ppl were hodling instead of trading ( if i didnt spent my 15 btc on newegg at 2015 when it was less than $300 ,i would have additional 100k instead of outdated computer).
if you are Doge coin or Digibyte hodler or even Steemit, watching other coins 10x or 50x and your investment continue to lose value it's heartbreaking, my portfolio consists of 30 altcoins, was up nearly 10x during early June/July pump ,took some small profit but holding majority of my altcoins ( total over 20btc worth at July ,now worth less than 7 btc), some of my friends are newbie to the crytoworld ,and they only buy btc,eth,ltc on coinbase ( NOOBS), but their portfolio has nearly 5x now compare to mine lost over 65% in btc value ( about break even on fiat value for the last 6 months), so it's very hard to been an investor instead of just trading ( if i trade out of my position on early September and hold on btc only , btw even with the huge pump on ETH these 3 days ,if you bought eth on June at all-time-high at btc value ,you still lost over 60% on btc value, bitcoin is ruining most of altcoins).
Trading is lot better for anyone looking for short-term profit ,investor taking the risks some of their coins goes to zero (too many scam ico,failed project,etc).

taxes and crypto currency in the USA is one thing that mystifies me and I really don't want to end up in big trouble. I understand the idea of capital gains, but some of the intricacies of how to legally hold crypto during tax season are causing me to shy away from telling other people about it... I don't want to get my family in trouble because I had a lack of understanding. a video on crypto in relationship to taxes would be tremendously helpful.
what i do despite the fact that tax is a big deal for us over here in the U.S, frankly speaking the best and safest way to go about this is by investing in a platform that will mine, trade and reinvest whatever cryptocurrencies of yours. that's exactly how i go about mine, all i do is fund my wallet and after that i instruct the platform to do whatever i want with a tangible price no matter it's inflation or bubble of any coin you want at any time you find yourself, either trading or mining it will all be handled by the platform. and when production is due and ready to hash, i cash out immediately and have it sent directly to my wallet or local bank account. all these done effortlessly, you should give it a try.
as long as you are prudent with taxation, when you are faced with it, it should not be a problem. are you invested?

Some topics within that video: What kind of a time frame to look at to gather data in order to consider a coin? What volume of activity to find acceptable when getting into a crypto? I really enjoy day trading though, 3 weeks ago today I started day trading for the first time, I started with $610 and now 3 weeks later I’m at $3,540, I could’ve never gotten those kinds of returns off of investing at least not that quickly. By the way your 17 part video series on how to use indicators helped me a lot, I watched every one and took notes and practiced. I used your tips to predict a spike in vertcoin the other day, invested some in it, but after 2-3 days, nothing happened and i sold for 5% profit. 12h later it spiked to 5-6x.... gotta learn to be more patient

I traded for almos a year and made a profit on every transaction... But "at the and of the day" I whould have made a lot more by just hodling.

That 90% number for day traders is inflated...it's around 65% in reality, while still high it's not as dramatic as people want to think.
If you have something which is good invest, if you put your money in shit you gain but will loose to zero when the tide turns.

Black Plastic A reliable team, a unique concept, preferably low supply and low market cap.
Reliable teams?? I've always been a little skeptical around teams. You could have the best team in the world who do nothing, or a few unknowns who work hard. If the drive isn't their for a team, it doesn't matter how good they are, they won't perform.
Unique Concept: Yes it helps.
Low supply and MktCap: Helps with room for growth.
I think as the market grows, coins/tokens need to have & show ongoing progress / adoption / partnerships / etc... rather than living on a dream. Anyone can dream, but progress speaks louder. Eg: Power Ledger.
the bitcoin project is an obviously outstanding project with great long term potentials for profitability, i am invested and its amazing the returns. you should too. what did you have in mind?

Hey Nick, been watching your vids for a while now and taking your advice, really appreciate what you're doing.
I recently got to the point I had to admit to myself Im a bad trader, so now Im just holding positions in a few coins I like the look of.
But if you could make a video, or throw some advice my way, when should I be taking profit?
For example, my main coin is NEO. Last week it pumped to around $48, my NEO holdings were green for the first time in a while. I just held them through the pump and now Its back in the red and Im kicking myself in the ass for not knowing when to take profit
Unless you have highly advanced technical analysis skills and/or inside information, it is probably best to invest. That has been my experience. And I tend to suspect the markets are manipulated by the big players to nudge traders to buy and sell at bad times.
