Anyone else here who wants a PTZ camera with a 1inch sensor that doesnt cost 5k. If DJI can do it, they'd own that market.
Dji could do that for like 1k lol. They are a couple good decisions from owning a lot of market segments
They could really disrupt the camera market by making a modern bridge camera.

I like Nikon colors. The R8 does look pretty sharp though. Canon colors aren't terrible, but Nikon is better to my eyes.

yea i'm wating for someone to talk about this. I do have autofocus issues on my Z30. It just slow and misses sometimes.
I need a Canon to try. Color science matters when you realize you can’t color grade to save your life. None of the tutorials make sense. I get in Davinci and move around things. I ended up in an aqua creek and purple trees. Maybe I’ll try a LUT.

Pocket 2/3 is surprisingly stable even on the outside of a car using a suction cup mount. I would tie it to something though, my first pocket 2 is on the size of the freeway

Well ... of course DJI is build for video so it's no contest. After the Action 1 I bought the Action 3 and the Pocket 3 will arrive end this month. Metalheads Golf vids will be even better. Contious focus better in my context. Camera's made for pictures dump them all. 😂🤣🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

Fellow Canadian here. Looking for help to get a new camera. I have a Sony a7ii with sigma 24-70.
I'm cycling from Canada to Argentina, and vlogging the whole thing. I've found my a7ii inadequate for the task.
I've spent so much time looking at some camera I have no idea what to pick. My style is more in line with an aesthetic vlog (don't like the word cinematic) like; life of Riza, or borderless by Natalie Lynn.
I was gunna jump ship and go g9ii but I think the a7c. Or the zve1. I just don't know.
I was going to advise you to see your doctor before you leave for a checkup, but we both know Canada doesn't have a healthcare system, so that wouldn't be possible.
I watch your videos in 360p so my laptop does not heat up :)

Unless its broken that is way too good a deal right? Someone in LA near me is selling a canon 6D and 24-105 f4 lens for 300 USD. Should we both attempt to pounce and hope we land on something other than a landmine?
@pringleboat yeah man, I'm worried. Usually, when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That's a pretty good deal for the Canon as well.

Is it me or is the background seeming shaking in a static shot, mostly the lamp and the box thing on the wall to his right? It is not so much pulsing it's just slightly bouncing every so often... hard to describe what I'm seeing.

Sony A7 camera and lens are too heavy to carry and impossible to shoot stable images with one hand. With debut of OP3, mirrorless camera are industry junks!
Have you heard of the Nikon DL 18-50? I'd love for you test one if you can dig one up from somewhere. 120p 1080, 1" compact with 18mm wide end, Nikon colours. Only 4k 60 though. It's from 2016 or something ✨
It doesn't exist... It was never made.
the R8 not overheating isn't true at all, maybe not in his use but otherwise quite easy.
In 4K60 it overheats on less than 30minutes indoors, outdoors in the heat in less than 20 minutes.
in 4K30 outdoors it's way better but in direct sunlight it got close for me sometimes. Indoors at slightly over regular room temps mine overheated a few times after about 1h of use, not recording though, just over hdmi.
The R8 has nice video quality, ergonomics and control but overall especially with the bad lens selection I regret buying mine, should have rather spend a bit more and went with Sony or whatever. Wouldn't buy it again. Battery and overheating anxiety are too much and the hdmi limitations kinda make no sense at all. You can't use hdmi out along with the display and record, wtf

@@cameraconspiracies not anymore but when I was doing mostly smartphone reviews it actually made sense to better show the fluidiity of the phone.
Also there's people who film 60fps regularly, not just for "cinematic" slowmo bs
But as said even 4k30 overheats in a normal room without much airflow, in the summer it won't survice more than 30 minutes, I have a quiet fan that keeps it running but it shouldn't be necessary in the first place

No way that R8 colors look so much better than A7S III. Btw for those wondering what good camera is on zero budget, just get canon 70d, some cheap lens and nobody will ever complain. For yt hobo life good colors, maybe low on sharpness but who cares.

Canon R50 with 600mm f 11 is a very good combo! Light, sharp and with exellent follow eye focus
Canon R8? Canon? It's light, that's about it. And cheap. Decent enough starter body. But only if you want to drive yourself crazy. Canon is still in 2015.

Maybe you are not liking the Nikon Z30, but Nikon has a couple of other good cameras. I like the Nikon Z5 full frame camera with kit lens is great and priced good.You just need a 5 inch monitor to rotate forward which I use. Z5 has a full sized battery like Z6ii.

Um...the Mountain Bike downhill question. Were they asking what camera to wear while riding? Insane...but doable. Or were they asking what camera to use while filming downhill racers? For that purpose, I'd recommend the Sony A9iii. 120 frames per second...is fine, because a second is more than you're going to get at they speed by you. If there was any situation that called for super slow mo, I'll admit that this would be it. 240 HD at a minimum...so, for video, the A7Siii would be the way to go.

I was making those storage cubes, turned the heater on, cablabm, total collapse. Right at the seems. I'm sure the legs went first. If you kick the legs, its curtains, except they have weight on them so they stay put. I was pushing and pushing the 10 across together, I figured it could only be out 2mm here and there. Luckilly, their the easiest furniture to build ever. Got like 14 2oz. Crazy glues, just gonna build each 10 level one at a time with the crazy glue. It doesn't go incredibly far, you could just about coat a duffle bag with one 2oz. Bottle. The sjcam is so trash, nothing has hdmi out anymore, the 5mp was their peak at 150$ bucks. Even though its software, they still have a mipi port which means its going to a cortex m3, but they figured out how to use the cheapest possible chipset to get 64 -> 200mp. Just save it to the SD card. My Sandisk extreme says v90, but my tablet says v60, you gotta know who you can trust, feed or be fed.

I had a 6d2 it has even worse DR than the 6d. You get dual pixel but only in live view. Codecs extremely limited
