- As the best-selling model in the #Hyundai portfolio, the #HyundaiTucson plays a key role in drawing customer in the showrooms and for 2025, the #Tucson family gets more appealing with more power for both the #TucsonHybrid and #TucsonPHEV. The rest of the family gets minor styling tweaks but a big upgrade in tech with all models getting the dual 12.3" panoramic displays along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It goes on sale this summer.

They got the whole "HALO - Master Chief" theme going on!!!
Great review. I like the updates, and opening up the center console makes sense.
I'm hoping to get the plug-in when it releases this Summer! I followed this car super closely and almost got the previous model when it launched, so glad I waited! Fingers crossed they have a reliable Limited stock at dealerships near me.
I'd love to get that hybrid plug in version, looks amazing!
Great review. Thank you.
Sofiyan, awesome work covering the NY Auto Show. And yes, the Tucson got a nice solid update.
@Brian_Eugene_Leeget a santa fe or palisade
That's a good refresh also added HUD with that wrapped around screen w/ knobs
I think the first iteration of this gen's Tucson was the best looking. The angel wing LED running lights were awesome. This one is more rugged looking but the center 3 rows of led running lights seem out of place and so looks excessive.
agree. and the front bumper seems ugly and forced, not flowing with the front grill.
Hope the hybrids and plugins are going to be easier to find and buy. Glad they fixed the interior.
Solid car. I see these everywhere where I live.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this crossover here
Solid upgrade and improvement with the interior.
By the way, is that Alex of Alex on Autos at the 5:25 mark?! haha
Yup! He was lurking around as well trying to do his filming.
I've been driving a Prius C for the past 10 years, but I hope I can get my hands on one of these. It will be a huge upgrade!
I own a tuscon and an ioniq5 - damn good cars. If they would bring out a full size truck, I would have to get one. Outstanding build quality and warranties. Truly a great brand. By the way, the green is an amazing color.
Beautiful
These look awesome thanks 🙏
Is d sunroof only available in d top of line variant?
My friend has the 2023 hybrid version. It was pretty nice! Roomy
Have just put an order here in UK for the Ultimate model, 3-6 months waiting for the 2025 face-lift, but I don't mind waiting for a car I really like.
very nice presentation,
Nice updates. It looks more like the Santa Cruz this time around.
beautiful
alex on autos i love him 5:18
2022 model looked the best, head lights were nice
Love it😊
We need this grill design in venue
Looking good Hyundai, looking good.
Why do manufacturers put blinker lights so low on the bumper nowadays?
It’s already acceptable in international standards in regards to turn signal lights…if you really follow the rules in driving school…the right distance in between car between you.. see to it you see the back tires you are following with….so no issues that you can’t see those signal lights…even some luxury cars are doing that nowadays…
@@romeolopez757 I don't buy this bullshit. You're not always directly behind a car, and yet still need to see the car's blinkers.
@@fecesd5g its because you are not a good driver…a lot of idiot drivers nowadays causes accident…old people don’t appreciate latest technology anyway!
@@romeolopez757Guess you’ve never heard of bumper to bumper traffic lmao
Never been an issue. Tried taiking the same model and i can still see the signals even when i was fairly close to the tucson in front of me
Nice, why they didnt this hybrid version for the Santa cruz 😮💨
when wıll the N lıne be producd and put ıntro servıce, particullary in France?
Looks like the Trailblazer
Now it's got a HUD too, nice
I like everything of this car other than its rear turn signals. Why are they placed so slow💀
I am glad it brought back buttons tho
I have previously read comments that are concerned about this. Having followed a couple of Tucsons, I can say this is not a real problem. Turn signals are very noticeable by drivers behind.
If you have trouble seeing those turn signals, please stop driving. It’s not hard to learn how to pay attention.
@@NovaResourceYeah blame the driver not the bad design lmao. I’m sure you ever see one on the road you’ll notice the side blinkers before the rear ones
All new design but still they have the indicator / turn signal low down on the bumper, which is a crazy design as it can’t be seen when in traffic. Kia Sportage for me I think with a high indicator.
This Tucson is not for me 😮
Ive seen an older model of sportage and the turn signal is also at the rear bumper
HUD available?
In the 2025 refresh... YES
stunning beauty .
Only thing I don’t like is the rear taillight which are bothering me and look the same as 2023 2024 now 2025 guess I gotta lean to Kia sorento great video
متى تنزل ب السعوديه ؟
What colour was? I ordered a cypress green and I don’t know how it will look
when is it supposed to be delivered?
@@gosman949just arrived these days în Romania. I don’t know if it will be available from this year in USA.
@kiahyundaichannel who could that be at 5:46 ?!
The only thing that bothers me is the bumper mounted turn signals. No matter how low your car is, if you're in traffic lights behind Tucson with turned on turn signal you can't see it. You need to be car length from the car to see it
Love the green colour
Looks nice and solid
They’ve got themselves some Chevy Trax RS2 wheels.
The lack of knobs and the ugly old steering wheel of the '22-'24 was the biggest drawbacks, tapping the wrong button or the uncomfortable driving position for your hands was the biggest reason i wouldn't buy one and i was leaning towards the 2024 Nissan Rogue but now this 2025 Hyundai Tucson refresh has changed my mind. No car should have all touch everything.
I was hoping they give it the new Sonata front end…
Ahh No…😂
No way... as an owner of a 2023 Tucson, I LOVE the front grill with the cascading LED lights... i'm SO glad they kept it in the refresh (though it dropped from 5 lamps to 4 like the Santa Cruz).
Was hoping they would upgrade the rear doors to soft touch.
Not something you typically find at this level. Even more expensive cars treat the rear seat passengers like they're in steerage.
@@krane15 CX5 has an interior with nicest materials in class..too bad it's small
Why did Hyundai put the coolant resevoir right on top of the hybrid electronics???
They are all waterproof so i won't be an issue
I’m shocked, usually they got all out on a refresh
They shoulve just made one of the tail lights a led turn signal/reverse light.
I’m glad I bought the 23’ limited hybrid, the new interior is a miss for me. I’m looking forward to your review on the refreshed Elantra N tho!
A miss? I own a 2023 Tucson and I think the 2025 refreshed interior is all the issues I have with the 2023 (minor as they are) corrected EXACTLY how I would have done!
@@wolfshanze5980 I’m not a fan of HUD so that’s a knock, I prefer the 2 separate displays, and I despise their new transmission stock. At the end of the day, it’s still an amazing vehicle and it’s all personal preference tho.
@@Live2Dye The HUD is not "in place of" an instrument cluster... and pretty sure it's optional, not mandatory.
@@wolfshanze5980 Look at the turn signal mounted very low, a safety issue for sure, forget about the rest.
@@AT-nq6cu If it were literally a SAFETY ISSUE, the NHTSA would have something to say about it? They literally write the safety standards on ALL VEHICLES ON US ROADS, which the Tucson is APPROVED by the NHTSA... or do you know something the NHTSA doesn't? Maybe it's just your personal opinion, but not actually a safety issue. Oh, and stop tailgating, you'll see turn signals better, and actually have room to brake.
i like the pre facelift grill more, but i prefer the new interior...prices unfortunately are getting quite high.
My question is: the 1.6L Turbo-GDI Hybrid Engine with 6-Speed Automatic that much more powerful & efficient than the 2.5L GDI/MPI 4-cylinder engine with 8-Speed Automatic?? Without the electric motor there's already less power on the 6 speed. And on the highway, I hit 35 MPG with my gas tuscon. Close huh?
Tiguan still the best forever and ever
The Hyundai has solid backs on their seats. The Tiguan has soft fabric backs. Something you see only on the very cheapest entry level economy cars. Like a Geo Metro.
The Hyundai family of cars doesnt miss
We are impressed BUT PREFER SPORTAGE GTS HEV with no facelift uk
Unless they put heat pump in that PHEV, it's a warm climate car only
I think something with Chevy traverse 2024
Utterly ridiculous that rear passenger ventilation is only found on the over-priced top spec UK models and cannot be optioned on others. I mean, why? This is essential if you have kids on longer journeys. My money will be going elsewhere.
Hey that's not Rob with the camera filming!🤔
Correct! That is our new editor Martin! You’ll be seeing him from time to time helping us shoot and edit content :)
That interior update is HUGGGGGEEE! The reason I went with the Sportage PHEV over the Tuscon Hybrid (PHEV wasn't yet avail) was hugely due to the interior. If this were available, I would have happily chose this instead.
Looks stunning but will it last 4-5 years, without falling apart?
6:29 It's called ccNC so you were close Sofyan
Our mistake! Long day of filming and these acronyms can get messed up in our heads 😅
very very nice rental car...
Bring back Rob please
The 2020 model looks 100 times better.
Right! I like the 2022 version but I agree this new one looks rubbish. I'm happy I don't like this version and will save money by getting an older one
Be nice if they could build a durable engine..
They do.
Problem yhyundai is they bring facelifts every year so by the time when ur auto loan gets paid off 5-6 new facelifts have already passed so value of ur model almost drops to zero inbjust 5-6 years. And lights in bumper conceptbis disgusting
i like the old model, i am waiting for the full electric tucson
I dont see no difference beside the steering wheel change the H to more range rover now
Still hate the turn signals in the bumper. Can’t even see them when you’re behind one of these
Not a concern if youre driving one.
Not a concern if you can keep a safe following distance.
@@JT-fq2bl yes it is, it's actually a safety issue.
@@JT-fq2bl it's a safety issue if you live in a big city with bumper to bumper traffic. Hard to see them.
@@Dr.JonSnow Then you're too close.
These days Hyundai has more creases and sharp edges in their designs. Beautiful flowing designs are gone!
Because of the rear turn signals alone, NO SALE!
I have seen a few cars with the low rear turn signals, and I really do not like them. I find them difficult to see, but I just have to get used to them, I suppose. Overall I like the car. The dash is nice and clean.
It look nothing changed 😂
PHEV:
1. worst reliability among any types of powertrain due to the more complicated electronics and driving logic than the others
2. much more expensive than Hev or ICE version.
3. same cost of maintenance to the engine system while suffering from the big battery replacement ultimately.
4. worse rear seat space or trunk capacity.
5. smaller fuel tank
6. depreciating faster than any other types of powertrain
7. worse fuel efficiency than Hev whenever the battery went out due to heavier weight
8. must arrange your charging perfectly to reach the theoretically better fuel efficiency than normal HEV version
Interior Makes Toyota look like a dinosaur
Horrific steering wheel, I hope they change it on its final version. The rest of the car looks nice
This is the product version he went through.
The exterior and interior look less distinctive than the previous one I own.
They barely changed the exterior, what are you talking about?
Ummmm... there's almost NO DIFFERENCE on the exterior... 99% of the 2025 changes were in the front driver control area... I own a 2023 Tucson... aside from dropping the front grill from 5 to 4 lights, all the changes are in the cockpit of the car.
My wife has the 2022 and I absolutely adore hers to the point I was thinking about buying one of my own. This feels like a downgrade IMO.
Hope it was an amicable divorce between the drls and the headlights. Do we know who gets custody of the fog lights?
I hear each DRL gets one fog light, they split up the kids. They’ve been doing well, despite the divorce
Damn we got a bunch of bots in this comment section....

Tuscon still looks uuuggly

Right, not lol
Goofy looking!
I won't buy a Hyundai ever again. Dealerships are scumbags and service department lies to your face.
True
Someone who truly realized what they signed for
What does the dealer have to do with the car?
@@krane15 well the car can be okay, but the dealer ship can still be shit and give bad rep to the whole compagny, meaning everything else is goes bad. Car dealer have to take things seriously, hence why hyundai is trying to be better but the whole service is shit.
Ahh give me.sportage NOT TUCSAN
Every vehicle in this world gets fatter and fatter.
2019 was beautiful then they screwed it all up.
The interiors of these new hyundais look awful. I love my 2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy, I may just buy it out if the 2025 version has an interior similar to these new hyundais.
In my opinion looks so ugly. It's like a toy :| Whats wrong with Hyundai?!
This one does look like a big toy car....
Tucson design aged very poorly... and the logo on the rear glass clearly an after thought.
Why is it clearly an after thought? Care to put some reasoning behind your random conclusion?
The rear logo used to be glued over the glass which ppl hate so much, now its under the glass which ppl also hate coz they can't do anything to remove it. Hyundai couldn't put it anywhere else because of the led taillight bar is in the way & if they shrink the size of that rear glass and put below it, it will be odd. Look at santa cruz it looks more clean without any H logo. Just an opinion@@wolfshanze5980
Imagine paying $50,000 for a Hyundai?😂
Never I’ll either buy my Lexus or a Tesla for that kind of money 😂
1st off, it's not 50K, 2ndly Honda's and Toyota's are more expensive for less... though Toyota is including a free recall for exploding steering columns with every purchase of a Rav4... you should try imagining harder on your purchasing decisions.
@wolfshanze5980 and still i will take the Toyota over the hyundai
@tomjohnson8737 you do whatever you want, no one actually care.. 😅
@Felizchi u do tho. Lol care enough to read and respond.
I waited a long time to improve this car, but unfortunately... the space between the driver and the passenger, why... the rear lights were supposed to be improved... the wireless charger takes up space, it is a fad and will disappear... the solution is a magnet in the dashboard, so it will be a charger
And a map screen and caller ID.. And when you want to get off, don’t forget your cell phone... I wished for a fuel tank twice the current one.. I wished for a real double with a smart crawler.. I wished for better seats, steering wheel and rim design...
Hyundai failed miserably at very easy things: designing the steering wheel, doubling the size of the fuel tank, and designing rims that appeal to the feelings of young people.
And comfortable seats....China has succeeded in all of this and is better than German and French designs and cheaper in price than all the factories in the world.
China amazes me every day.. Even Ford was ugly until it took the designs of Changan.. Ford True Tory

Little car has bigger Price Tag🤣
They have tried to make this look a bit like Subaru with all the black cladding and the roof rails. No matter what they do they cannot beat Subaru.
They finally got rid of that stupid looking steering wheel. Praise to God.
Disagree. The old steering wheel with the Hyundai logo was better than the new one with four dots representing H in morse code.
The steering wheel design is one of thing that bothered me the most during the first few weeks of owning the 4th gen. But as time goes on, i realize the design is geared towards function rather than aesthetics. It's very convenient when your hands are getting tired.
However, they added glossy black door handles. Truly woeful choice. I can see it demolished with 5 days.
