This is why I hate when people say drugs aren’t a reason when it’s common sense that drugs and mental illness don’t mix, like maybe it’s not just drugs but they def play a part

My sister was murdered in Colorado by her ex husband
45 year sentence but keeps going back to court because of appeals

You are so right about love- bombing and bread crumbing so many people do this in relationships so many forms of manipulations. Please get a restraining order and don’t let him see you or your kid. He sounds unstable and like a psychopath. Get fully custody of the child sis!

I agree to a point. I did this after I was abused. To an abusive man it won’t matter how you were treated before. They will slowly beat you down & start in on you when you’re ripe… A good man will never hurt you even tho he knows… You need to notice the red flags right away!

I took a 4 month class on boundaries. I also have an alarm system in my house & I bought a gun. I’m never going to be again a target for any abusive POS ever again! BTW, I haven’t been in over 35 yrs so what I’m doing is working!

You had complex trauma going into the relationship, which contributed to your choice in an abusive partner. I can tell you have done a lot of emotional work to recover. Your story highlights the dangers of untreated mental illness and drug use and I think it's so helpful and brave of you to share it for all of us!
Best thing to do now is to move out of state and tell no one where you are going. Start over, new name, new number, new friends.

You are so brave Sadie! Its sad the quantity of young girls who enter an abusive relationship because their parents expelled them from home. It happened to me too, but i was lucky to not be fisically assaulted. Parents DO NOT EXPELL YOUR KIDS FROM HOME!

He wasn’t charged for THREE Attempted Murders. You were pregnant!!
The law in most states does not recognize that an unborn fetus can be a “person" until it has been born and has drawn its first breath SADLY! There are only a few states that would’ve charged him with that and I don’t think her state is one of them.

You need Jesus he loves you Jesus has self existed before all was made, He created everything. when He came to earth He was not as we are, He was a man but not like mankind, He was God walking upon the earth that He made. when He said before Abraham was I Am (John 8:58) He was saying I Am the Great I Am, His claim was true and He proved it. if Jesus didn't go to the cross for us, we all would be in hell. only God could done what He done for us. He is God, His death was sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death and that true and only God is JESUS! no one nor anything can be God, only Jesus is God.

It’s really messed up what happened to her when they were 18 and he was on acid but I have to say not letting him see his child doesn’t make sense to me. He may be an abusive boyfriend and I believe he went nuts when he was ON ACID but that person that he was at 18 had nothing to do with who he is now in his (18 + 13 years hmm 31?) 30’s. Children need both parents. I would definitely try to see how he’s changed IF he reaches out to see his child and give him that opportunity. That’s not YOUR son. That’s HIS son too. She said “MY SON”. No. It’s “OUR SON.”

I was 18 and was in a sexual abusive relationship with my 29 year old unlce in mexico. He made me do meth and after the first hit i took i went kind of crazy and then the nightmare started for months. he tried to stab me too one-day
