    Extremely Sorry for your ordeal Shante. I'm a father I can't think in a million years allowing my daughter at 14 to be in a sexual relationship as if she is mature enough.... even advising her to walk around with condoms.... 🤔 Extremely poor parenting from your father, who is the head of the house and your Mother who should have been the next line of defense for you as well... i assume she was aware you were sexually active at 14 but didn't pull you up on it either, wrong move Mum. A child is a precious gift protect them to your death.

    If your parents thought you were just a baby and they didn't want you, their baby having a baby, then why would they encourage you having sex at all. Seventh/ eight grade is too young to be dating anyway. Your innocence was not stolen if you were already sexually active. He just took advantage of you and your boyfriend might have set you up. Just saying.

    • @shastajustice3753
      @shastajustice3753 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      I agree 7th/8th grade is young to be sexually active not because it's wrong but it shifts one's attention away from studies, hobbies, friendships, college, etc. to focus on a boy. I disagree 100% that her innocence was not taken because she was already having sex before the assault. You are comparing apples and oranges. The rape was sexual abuse and it stole her trust in people, especially men. Her innocence was taken.

    Hi there! Thanks so much for sharing your story. You told it so well. It was very powerful to see you not only overcome your abuse, but triumph over it. You radiate such goodness and strength. 🙂
    I agree that your mom should have reported it to Law Enforcement. Because she didn't, I would just like to encourage you to report what your boyfriend's friend did to you, to Law Enforcement. If your boyfriend was involved in your assault, I would encourage you to report him as well. People who commit such heinous crimes as they did, should be held accountable. Reporting them would and should also prevent them from harming anyone else ever again, especially a child/minor.
    I know some people think that if sexual abuse happened awhile ago, the Statue of Limitations to report it is over. But 14 States as of a few years ago, did away with this Statue of Limitations, so now anyone who was sexually assaulted as a child/minor from these States can report their sexual abuse and receive justice, no matter how long ago the abuse took place. I'm sure since a few years ago, even more States have joined in this needed and Noble cause. Hopefully the State where all your abuse took place has joined this cause 🙂
    Once again thanks so much for sharing your story! And for teaching your children so well. I agree that we should teach them early on. God bless you and your precious children always! 🙏 ❤️

    The assault wasn't your fault however you was already fast and having s3x by the age of 13-14. Your parents did a horrible job condoning your behavior by telling you to use condoms instead of steering you away from that type of life. Honestly you really put yourself in that situation because you had no business meeting with that boy. Your innocence was already taken the minute you decided to have s3x at a very young age which was a choice. I blame the parents.
