Can you explain what led to it looking like that?

Narrow air jets for more effective cooling (since very fast air cools especially well), combined with wider area coverage, and the "thumbs" are to get a little better coverage in the reverse direction of the main airflow exit. But for real, in my head it was going to come out looking like a harmonica 😆
