I just ordered 2 of these pots and dirt for my new yucca. Im new with plants and Im wondering what that tube is that you put in the pot before planting it
Hi! The plastic tube is water level indicator. It shows you if the water reservoir is full or empty. Here is the video about how to water plants in Lechuza self-watering planters: bit.ly/3bWSmRs Thank you for watching 🌱
Hello Aleksandra, This is the inner pot (with build-in sub-irrigation system) of the self-watering Rondo 32 planter. We sell self-watering planters here: mycityplants.com/collections/planters *** Rondo 32 is out or stock at the moment. Expected to be available in July Thank you for watching 🌱
Hi! Thank you for watching! - Lechuza planters have a sub-irrigation system and PON (substrate which goes at the bottom of the pot under the soil) is the part of this system. **Here is the link to Lechuza shop: amzn.to/3We9IlH If you want to learn more about how these planters work, here is the link to our Lechuza Playlist th-cam.com/video/BZgTlFgg-mw/w-d-xo.html - If Yucca is potted in well draining soil and into a pot with drainage, you do not need to add sand or perlite for extra drainage Green Cheers!

Everything I have seen online says use succulent mix for your yucca, I just got one and put it in normal fertilizer - I bought succulent mix - should I mix the succulent mix with fertilizer?
Hi! Usually, fresh potting mixes are infused with fertilizer. Before mixing the fertilizer into the potting mix, make sure it does not have it mixed in already! May your Yucca plant grow happy and healthy!
Love you vids. You nail it all. I watched your video and try to repot my yucca. However, I accidentally broke the rot ball. Only 5-6 6 inched left at the bottom which is just the “naked” trunk. Just wondering if there is any chance my health yucca can survive and how. Thank you!
Hi Joice, A few 5-6" roots is good enough for Yucca to take on and continue growing. You may also put the trunk in water and in a few weeks, when you see more new roots show up, transfer your Yucca plant to the potting mix. Make sure to use well draining soil and pot with drainage. Green Luck & Thank you for watching 🌱
Hi Janine, Love the String of pearls! 💚 This video is very explanatory and will guide you through the repotting process: th-cam.com/video/jDo44bo4w9Q/w-d-xo.html Green Cheers! 🌱
I'm wondering how deep do you plant a yucca plant? I just replanted a yucca that wasn't really established in it's old pot and I have maybe like 4inches of the trunk in the dirt. I don't see any other way of keeping it upright.
Hello Christian, Sounds lie you did everything right 👏 I would pot Yucca plants as deep as needed to keep them straight and stable. For example, we pot 10" pot Yucca plant in 14" deep pot. May your plant grow happy and healthy! Thank you for watching 🌱
1st I love the fit! 2nd dude yes THANK YOU I LOVE THE AESTHETICS YOU PUT IN ALL YOUR VIDEOS!! The colors Nd everything 3rd bumping song yesss 4 GREAT CONTENT!!
Hi! Depends on how root bound the Yucca plant is.... Scoop the soil out as much as you can and try remove the plant. If this does not work, lift the plant up a little with the pot by holding its stalk and knock on the pot's rim lightly. ** Do not lift it too high, as the clay pot may break upon falling. If this does not work either, you would have to break the pot to set your plant free :) Green Luck & Thank you for watching!
Hi! Thank you for watching. Each Yucca plant stem has its own root system. Yes, you can divide it and pot each stem separately. You can watch me do it in this video: mycityplants.com/plant-decor/how-to-divide-yucca-plant/ Green Cheers!
Hi Katz, Thank you for your kind words and for watching our videos. Lechuza planters are sold in Europe. Here is the link: www.lechuza.world/ Green Cheers! 🌱
Hi! repotting will help + proper watering frequency. Yucca is low watering plant and the soil should be very dry before watering. Use a pot with drainage hole and porous soil! Here is the video about how to deal with overwatering issue bit.ly/3qtI1T6 Thank you for watching 🌱
Love your videos. Question, for your plants do you typically go PON on bottom then soil on top? Do you personally ever like to use all PON and no soil? Or are you doing PON/Soil combo only because it’s already in soil? What if it was a new cutting? Would you do all PON or a combo PON/Soil also? I know both can be done and work, but I was wondering about your preference. I think I would highly do what “you” like to do as you seem like quite the expert 🙌🏼 Thanks
Hi! Thank you for watching 🌱 Pon is the MUST at the bottom - under the soil- it is a part of the sub-irrigation system. Yes, you can pot plants in PON only. ** I use only Pon for smaller plants as this substrate is pretty heavy, and, when used for large plants, makes pot too hard to move around :) I would pot new cuttings in PON only. When repotting plants from soil to Pon, I prefer to keep some soil around the roots as this allows me to test the moisture levels with my favorite tool - soil moisture meter before watering. I guess I like to be more in control :)
Do you have Yucca for sale? I love the beautiful thick stems and trunks on the one in your video and the leaves are so lush green. #Healthy#Yucca. 🪴🌵🌻🌞

Depends on how root bound the Yucca plant is....

Plants that are just repotted should wait 1 week to heal the roots before watering them to prevent chances of root rot
