Great info. How can you get the stalk to grow thicker or how fast does the stalk grow and thicken. I really like the look of these, thanks,

Providing the perfect conditions will get you a happy plant that will then be capable of growing faster. Over time the stems will naturally thicken. But they're not the quickest plants, so think of this as a long haul type of houseplant.

exact right on! mine's too big and when purchasing a new home, priority is on tall ceilings or sky lights, otherwise I'll have to cut it... but I'm weird in that I seem to have a problem with letting my plants get too big :( I need therapy!?

Is there really a thing as "too big" with houseplants, lol! Grow them and then move somewhere bigger. I like your idea!

I’ve been growing these at home for years but always have to stake the stems. They grow fast but the stem stays too thin. I water thoroughly about every 2 weeks and have them at a southern window. Sometimes I filter with a sheer curtain. Now I’m starting to wonder if my pots are way too big. Do you think a large pot could contribute to fast growth but thin stem. Great channel.

Wow, that sounds unusual. Container size shouldn't make that much of a difference, IMO. It sounds like you're caring for them well too. Are they definitely Yucca's and not a Dragon Tree (they're often mixed up). If you're sure, then it could be a different variety or species potentially, or maybe just a quirk of the plant.

I never know what I do wrong. Again the leaves are turning yellow all the time until there is nothing left. It's a big tall plant. The surface of the soil is always dry but I give it a little bit of water every 2 weeks. Should I stop watering or give more. Ate the roots roting inside the deep pot? Or is it to dry? It's placed south east and has the best of sun he could get

Hi! Based on what you've said, it sounds like not enough water! If it's the lower leaves are going yellow, that's normal. But if there is no replacement growth, it sounds like a problem. If this doesn't help, you're going to have to take the plant out of the container and check the roots.
