- This is a special animated short that can be played in the Movies option in Zeonic Front's main menu. It recaps the One Year War from the perspective of Lt. Commander Garret Schmitzer, the commander of the Midnight Fenrir. All the animation was redone animation for the PS2 line of games, all of them coming from Gihren's Greed.
The movie just titled "Special" in the menu but it's subtitled as Indignation of Zeon in the actual video, so I'm calling it that.
Can you imagine if there was a final unlockable mission where the Midnight Fenrir assist in stealing the GP02 during Operation Stardust?

One year late - Sadly the Fenrirs had surrender to the Federation by then. After fighting alongside Rommel during 0080 or so, the Fenrirs' leader was approached by the pilot of the Mudrock, who offered them an out - surrender. They took it up willingly. It is unlikely if not impossible to have been active during 83.
Sadly (or not so sadly, considering the fate of many of the Zeon remnants), The Midnight Fenrir corp surrendered to Federation forces after help Rommel escape. Kakoraot197 has some lore videos on the matter actually.
Two of them _DID_ go on to help Zeon Remnants and Neo Zeon before dropping off the map, but there is no mention of any other members in later Zeon activity.

I love how Schmitzer's complete contempt for M'Quve is audible during the Zanzibar segment.
Its nice attention to detail looking back. In SD Genesis retelling of Zeonic Front, M'Queve basically fled Odessa without leaving a chain of command to organized and support the defenders. Eventually the Zeons left behind got slaughter and have to flee from federation punitive squads. Schmitzer was disgusted over being unknowingly used as a decoy in this version and saw the consequences of M'Quve actions.

Can we all agree that we need a full u.c. remake game. (Not Gundam battle operation but its own original game were you have different factions and storylines)
There was gundam crossfire that did something similar to that.

Since I had very little access to the series to begin with, this was my first time I got a timeline of sorts of the One Year war.
The survivors of Zeon from the Battle of Solomon, A Boa Qu, and others retreated to an asteroid base in deep space and renamed themselves AXIS led by Haman Karn using then unknown lone living member of the Zabi Family, Minerva Zabi (events of MS Zeta Gundam)

I've said time and again that it was a total missed opportunity not to have a series that followed Midnight Fenrir.
Likely didn't happen since canonically every member of the unit survived and Kill'em All Tomino didn't like that.

Zeon_Ace It looks like a Zaku with a different paintjob. The horn on the head means that this is a commander typ Zaku
just got a better look at them and they are desert type zakus
late response but from the looks of head vulcans, they are the Zaku 2 FS model, which is a commander unit before the S type was officially released.
@@tomhuynh3867 They would have to have 4 head vulcan barrels to be FS models, these only have 2 on them. I've even checked further and they are MS-06D Zaku Desert Types. gundam.fandom.com/wiki/MS-06D_Zaku_Desert_Type
