The only thing I hate about your RV is that it's not parked beside me any longer and you keep moving it. I have to search all over the campground to find it when I need to siphon some gas! Fortunately, I "marked it" when it was beside me making the search easier.
We love our Class C (Jayco Redhawk 24B). Like John said, it would be great with a small tow vehicle. We have a Chevy Spark. Also, we have solved John's tool problem, all my hand tools are in the back of the Spark. We ARE the retired couple that John said the RV would be perfect for.
Great video! We really enjoyed being there for the 4th of July! Loved seeing the two girls running; laughing with their party hats on. So sweet! Those fireworks were outstanding . And the next day my husband couldn't stop talking about the games and races you had for everyone. Honestly ,it felt like we were among long time friends. Can't wait to come back!
Ok, guys. I side with John. Mercedes is coming from the perspective of living in a 50 ft carry all trailer home. The Class C is great as you both say for non-full time RVers. To me, nothing beats the features of if you need to get out of a stay, you can jump to the front of your RV and run. Whereas, with the vehicle being detached with my larger model trailers, it leaves me vulnerable to the threat outside. including them breaking into my truck and taking us someplace involuntarily. Just my two cents guys, Cheers!
Transitioning to fulltime RV life, I bought a brand new Grand design in 2021. Just didn't feel homey. Sold it for a 10k loss, and bought a 20 year old Safari Trek, and absolutely love it.
@@RVOddCouple very stable scooter with larger platform so wife feels safe and comfortable. I’ve carried insta pot and groceries on it using some accessories that you can hang bags from.
We have the Winnebago Navion which is even tighter on space. I like not having so much to go camping with. Even after 4 years We are still getting rid of stuff that we really don't need.... How many cups do you really need for a couple....2 for coffee 2 for water...tools minimalist, clothes minimalist. Less stuff...more fun😊
Storage is one reason some people recommend super C. Is on a 550 or 5500 frame or larger. Those are 27 feet and longer. One of 3 things why everyone have a complaint about the motorhome. 1) kitchen too small 2) small living room or not enough seating 3) small bathroom Bonus 4) small kitchen plus small living room equals, limited storage. 5) counter space issues. Try slicing meat while she is doing dishes and cooking. Out of counter space.
You guys are a scream and keeping it real! Mad ❤! 😂😂😂. We are almost to Chattanooga to start our RV hunt so these are extremely great tips! Anyone who is wondering about TCC - it is sooo peaceful! The absolute best!!!
We traveled in a 19 foot travel trailer for 5 years tooooo heavy. Bought a 17 footer lite TT i just learned a dollar general on every corner so i get more on the road than storing it in the TT..we r outside every minute possible..our bed is soooooo comfy..everyday traveling i just say pinch me our views are breathtaking..we boondock lots and have seen all but 7 states.. thunder canyon is one if the best campgrounds we have stayed in 42 years of camping..just go. Greetings from NC and just one more mile
Just recently found your site and enjoy your videos SO much; you are great together in all ways. God Bless you always! I have a lot to catch up on. Your energy, style and community love is admirable. Would live to enjoy your company. Blessings!
I've got a shuttle bus that I converted into my little hippie Nirvana camper. I made it super super comfortable and it's really pretty inside. I wish I could show you pictures.. I may have told you about it a long time ago but I don't remember lol! Have you ever watched any of the bus conversions? Holy cow, the ideas are never-ending and a lot of these buses are beautiful.. I wish I could show you some videos darn it! I think you all should check them out they are so freaking cool, super spacious, functional and beautiful😊 oh shoot ...first and foremost very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very comfy... Love you guys! 💗
I am 6'4" tall and I think our wet bath is great. Sit on the closed toilet seat, wrap the curtain loosely and wash off. Most water goes down the drain. I don't like the difficulty I have fixing plumbing issues. My bones get in the way. But we deal with the aggravations. Your Mini is more luxurious than our Rockwood HW296, but I get 24mpg towing it, even to higher elevations in our state.
I really like your RV but there's no way I could sleep with another person in that tiny bed. I sleep alone and I need the ENTIRE queen size bed. I flip and flop and toss and turn! 😂
I think you guys would love the Jayco Greyhawk 30z. My husband and I both have different sleep schedules and it has two solid sliding doors between the bedroom and the living area. A huge storage area outside in the back with three different entry doors on both sides and the back. I think your interior storage is actually pretty good for a class C. Our shower I believe is a 30 by 36, with adjustable height for the shower head. It also has some smaller outside storage compartments. 7500 lbs towing capacity. It is 32.5 ft total length. It does have a small hanging clothes closet. Those two solid doors really make a big difference, plus it helps create a bigger bathroom since the sink is outside of the bathroom. We do use the over the cab bed for storage. With your daughter sleeping there, that's not really an option for you. We do have a lot of storage under the dining benches. We are not full-timers.
Our days of RVing are over (health issues that come with age) but I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing. And yes John, I still cop a feel every now and then...LOL. Never too old for that.
I am currently between RV's due to a medical issue that isn't progressing as expected. The 25' toyhauler was of interest to 5 folks so I sold it last month. Next one (assuming this pesky issue clears up enough) will likely be what you two have. Big enough for 2. I might consider a larger high end Lance pickup bed RV since I have a 3500 8' bed Ram sitting in the driveway. They have really improved those to the point of interest. Storage for me will be less of an issue as I pull a 7x14 enclosed trailer (with the motorcycle in it) so I have space for tools and accessories. John, nice to know I'm not the only older guy still interested in wifey touch therapy.....it's good for the soul eh? Take care you three.
We love our Class C Sunseeker, we don't have any pushouts which I think makes it easier. Surprised at your "garage space" we have so much more! There's PLENTY of storage! LOL! Agree you hear, feel, see, smell everything in the "shared" space. But overall, it's a great length and space for small family, 2 people for trips, not FT living!
My Micro Minnie is 21 ft 11 ". I've got plenty of storage . John has way too many tools for short trips. We carry 1 tool kit and what we need to change a tire. Most the time you can wait till you get home for minor repairs. A few fuses, screwdrivers etc, that's all we need.
What is the bumper like? If it is a good bumper you can install a bumper box on the back for your tools. We extended the tow bar so that we can still tow our small car. We use the metal bumper box with locks for gas cans as sometimes, especially New England, gas stations are really tiny even for our small class c. Sunseeker’s have better garage storage but not so great storage inside. Yes, fridge is small but seeing as I usually have no clue what to make shopping every few days works for me. At least you don’t have a corner bed like we do. Pain to make.
I love this series! I'm looking for an RV but need a larger, maybe 30 ft. Storage is king and a washer dryer for the queen. I kinda think I want a Super C. Love and Prayers
Always need more space, but it is a rv. We enjoy our time last week at Thunder Canyon. Wish we could have had more interaction with some of the people who were there. We did the ice cream social, and went to church on Sunday and enjoyed the discussion. Weather was really good for that time of year. And our camp site was great. Thanks
Well.... You're saying it with a smile and keeping perspective. Personally, I'm too OCD and would go nuts over the "little" things. Keep the good times going!
Like you say - no camper is perfect and you likely don't get it right the first time. We ended up buying a used 30' Coachman Freelander without any slide outs. I felt the extra length was worth the extra room and allowed a layout that made the slide outs unnecessary. The bed in the back has room around all 3 sides and I took the right side with the narrow access. We took the front panel off the couch/bed on the right side and we no longer need to lift the couch seat to access the storage - we have 3 large plastic totes that slide out for shoes, backpacks, heaters and fans and other daily essentials. The extra length is a bit cumbersome - but is worth the hassle as there is plenty of storage both inside and outside the RV. The only real annoyance occurs for my wife when cooking, as there is so little counter space for prepping food......I was able to find a cutting board that fit nicely over one side of the double sink so she has room for cutting up food. I am the one up early and the extra length helps immensely with my wife who gets up later....there is a curtain at the edge of the dining room near the fridge and a second one at the entrance to the bedroom (still a bit shaky when I move around). The RV tows my stick shift Pontiac Vibe or the motorcycle trailer easily - we choose the tow vehicle that bests suits the area we are going to.....sometimes we don't need a towed vehicle. And as Mercedes said - you have to put things away when you are done as the place gets horribly cluttered quickly if you leave things out on the table/countertops/seats.
I would tow a small trailer that has a nice bedroom and kitchen - seating zone. The truck would have a cabover with a large bathroom - shower and storage, that way anyone can use the camper in total privacy.
Our class c is only 24.5! Yes, I lost my bathroom storage but have much more in my kitchen and dining as well as the overhead bunk when grandsons are not with us. We LOVE our Vita. Is it perfect? Nope. But it works!
Being just me and my little dog , I have enough storage , especially utilizing the upper berth , in my Thor23A . I do have a nice outside storage area under where the bed is .Have to agree about the little bathroom , but I'm arthritic with artificial joints and a fused spine so not exactly agile . As for grocery getters , I tow a 2500 pound 1996 Geo Tracker , and have a front receiver hitch with a four bike carrier I modified to haul my XPTrike .
LOL. Great video. It's not too often that I see two people agree on everything with an RV. Same with a house. And for all the same reasons. Good stuff guys. But ya, you have pros and cons to everything in life.
How does the roof look? Room enough for a cargo pod? You can be truly comfortable, and drive something the size of a tractor trailer. Or be a little cramped, and have something easy to drive.
SWAY BARS for the jeep.. I do 95% of the driving in our 32 foot class C. Bike rack and jeep behind at about 50+ feet. have two front slides which makes a huge difference. We had planned to go full time in it but to be fair, no dog or child. One does need to pair down. I'm 72 and husband 77. We easily could live in her full time. Love her She is a Winnebago Aspect. Has been very dependable. guess you don't have slides which make
I have a 23’ Oliver. And a tundra with a camper. Me my wife and our dog(which uses more room than me and the wife have been full timing in this setup for several years now. Because the wife still works she also has a highlander. The great thing about 2 autos and a trailer. The autos provide a LOT more storage. And the hybrid provides a great gas mileage runabout while parked. The biggest cons are extra cost for 2 autos, and being separated while on the road. We usually make short trips long camps so the driving separate is only a pain for us when making a long run, say over 200 miles. The other thing I like about the truck is I have a camper shell on it that gives me storage for things I don’t want sharing living space with like a small spare gas can etc. when/if the wife retires will have to give up the second car so more paring down but that’s life :). Seriously for us the 23’ plus a pickup/camper shell after over 10 years total in three different sized rigs is looking like our sweet spot 😊
So the blackout curtains ... they are greatly enhanced by God's gift of ... dah dah dah ... eyelids!! Lol My wife and I have that same discussion regularly. She can't stand our solar monitor LEDs. Full time 6 years and you guys were part of our inspiration!
Hey guys 👋😊, From watching your videos and hearing from others I'm looking forward to meeting you and to stay @ your campgrounds. I really enjoy and appreciate your truth's about rv life. My goal matures early 2026. I love being silly and laughing and you guys deliver.😂 Thanks 👍
First world problems! 😂 Seriously though we also have things we love and hate about our trailer. Love you guys and love your videos! Wish we could visit Thunder Campground again some day. Haven’t been there since the grand opening July 4, 2022. Just wish y’all had established a campground in Colorado instead of Alabama. But y’all do have an awesome place! Keep on RVing, keep on making videos, and most of all keep on keeping the faith. ✝️🕊️🙏🏻
I'm with him....I don't see many negatives here. I was expecting something like you can't get very far off road or the hassles of having dually tires, things like that.
I've got a similar RV with a full wall slide which makes it a little better but it's just me and the wife. Very happy with the size easy to park and maneuver trade it in my class a and this is way better.
I actually thought a new video from you would be about another topic. Glad it's not. Thanks for a laugh. Lord knows we need it. Good night and God Bless.
We have a 2004 Hurricane Four Winds and it has no storage inside. Outside yes lots. But do I put all can foods outside ? !! THE BEDROOM HAS SMALM SONGLE BEDS ONE ON EACH SIDE. I slide out in living room. Not bad.. I'm going to sell this one and look for one that has storage in the bedroom. To hang clothes. This one has none. But the last owner his wife used a walker and couldn't get into bed so that's why the single beds but I love the single bed.
John, I know you are pretty passionate about the storage in the RV, but In my experience of 62 years when the wife says we need more storage the husband only has to choose whether to move into something with more storage or to build on. and sorry to say my friend, building on is not very practical.
I like the video as always.. you can have anti-sway device installed under the Jeep and it will not sway while you pull it and it will not turn over because it might be top heavy.. it is just something good to have in general.. you may even be able to install it yourself.. check it out John!!👍👍🇺🇸🙏😎🤗🥂
Oh how I wish we could afford to come down from Michigan to see you folks, but with me on disability, Bob on SS, and us helping raise our beautiful grandson, there's just no extra money for gas and your membership fee. I sure wish we could have met up when we were in Florida, almost 4 years ago. We sold a truck and maxed out my credit cards to go, but Bob only retires once, thank God, lol😂. Maybe when Trump gets back in, he'll get our gas prices back down outta the clouds and bring down the cost of living so we can afford to get there sometime in the next 4 years. (Fingers crossed, and praying hard!!) I liked both of your videos about your RV. It is hard to downsize, and I still remember how big and beautiful your trailer was when you were full-time RVing. There was even room for the doughnuts on top of the frig., lol. You 3 have had some astronomical hurdles and have overcome so many hard times when it could have torn you apart, and look at you now...Praise God from who all good things come!! You have amazed us with each undertaking and successful business adventure you've undertaken, while still remaining true to yourselves and honest with us. Thunder Canyon was your 'dream child', and through so much effort, trial, error, prayers, and help, look at your dreams.. They're all coming true!!! I sincerely pray that we'll be given the opportunity for us to come and spend a couple of weeks with you and see everything you've all worked so hard to achieve, and all of God's beauty there. Until then, as always, I'm sending you positive vibes and good juju, and of course, blessings from above❤😊
To help with the sway, you might want to consider installing a Roadmaster rear swaybar along with a Steermaster Trac bar to your Minnie. We tow our Grand Caravan behind our 34ft. 1996 Winn. Suncruiser with a tow dolly, and the swaybar and Trac bar really help the rv from fishtailing. My hubby installed both in our driveway. They also help a bunch in keeping the rv from leaning when making turns. We are thinking about purchasing a jeep to tow instead of the van, so thank you for mentioning the sway jeeps can add. It is good to know! This video explains how the Trac bar and sway bars work together for anyone out there who might be having similar problems. th-cam.com/video/8WVKcEXddc4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=km728ffew-y3S8Zu
Well it really sounds to me. Like you guys chose. Too small,, a Motorhome. And as a single, retired, old widow. It was time to get rid of my 1986 Fleetwood Southwind Gasser motorhome. And step up. Slightly higher. Into my like nearly, Brand New. 2002 Monaco Knight, 34 foot, Diesel Pusher. I got for only $25,000. With six new, Toyo tires. A brand-new, $400, Memory Foam Mattress from Walmart. With a 10 year warranty. But of the Entertainment System.. The old CRT, TVs have been replaced with a, 26 inch Visio and 17 inch Samsung, LCD TVs. But of the 6 original, speakers mounted in the ceiling. They are all shot.. They are unlistenable. They are not blown. They are rotted.. They are the original 22-year-old ceiling speakers. Time to replace those. Time to replace the dashboard Kenwood stereo. From 22 years ago. Time to figure out where to put my big,, JBL Control Room Studio Monitor Speakers? There really isn't any room for those. Nor my KRK-V6's. But they are going in! Along with 6 new ceiling speakers. I plan replace with JBL Car Speakers. Nothing sounds better. Nothing! And for reasons only I know about. As I've also installed a, 46 inch LCD Samsung. On the dining room table. Reducing it to only accommodate 2 people instead of 4. Since there is only me. And an occasional friend.. So that works out. Since it's right across from the very comfortable, couch. And offers this big screen,, close-up, experience. In the living room of the coach. And in the bedroom. As wide as the Queen Bed. A, 65 inch Samsung Display TV Monitor.. As wide as the Queen bed. Right at the foot of the bed.. It's like sitting in the first row of a Drive In Movie. While laying in bed. I shall never leave the bedroom now. The 65 inch display is practically in bed with me.|And you know what that will be like with Adult Films. It is LIFE-size. Just a foot away from my foot. It's really quite spectacular. It covers up the entire window, nicely. And the 17 inch LCD. Has the Quad Display. Of all 4 exterior cameras on the vehicle. So I can see anybody coming from anywhere. And then there is also the computer in the bedroom. A laptop i 7. So nice and quick and powerful. I'm pretty much exclusively electric. I don't like propane. I just purchased this motorhome from an elderly couple. It's got a huge LP tank and its full. I've got the big deluxe optional refrigerator freezer with 4 doors. And icemaker. Everything works like new. The 7.5 kW quiet diesel generator by Onan has 1000 hours on it. And works like a champ. The air-conditioners were great. Both coach and bedroom. The water closet with sink actually spacious. A nice sized shower. And 65,100 miles on the 300 HP Cummins, One Life diesel engine. Barely broken in. And all original stock interior. In near like new condition. These old folks were not heavy partiers. Nothing even looks worn. There's been no wild parties on this motorhome. It's all, so pristine. And 22 years old. Even the paint and the graphics, look nearly like new. And so it's not too long at only 34 feet. It's great as a single Luxury 1 Bedroom Apartment, on wheels. And yet. It has no roof mounted solar, at all. It never did. These were folks that didn't stay up late at night.. They,, never drained, their batteries, I guess? As when the engine is running. It's charging the coach batteries. When the generator is running. Charging all the batteries. But the 88-year-old guy already told me. It will need a new set of, chassis and coach batteries. 2 Jesse batteries. 4 coach batteries. Okey-dokey then! That's no problem. While I ponder the thought of switching over to Lithium coach batteries. I don't think so yet. Deep cycle lead acid batteries will do me just fine. And supplemented with some new solar. Should cut the mustard. As I can also, light up the generator, anytime I want to. As it does not make a racket. It is very quiet. It is well muffled and silenced. And since I plan on doing a lot of, LTVA camping on BLM, dispersed camping. My apartments and homes of the past. Weren't this luxurious. Close but no cigar. Beautiful natural wood cabinetry. The real stuff. It's gorgeous. And if it looks 22 years old and not current. Not jazzy. Oh well. Neither am I at nearly 69. And a widow. For almost the past 10 years. I've never gotten over it. We were together for 22 incredibly loving years. When I was out of town and he died suddenly. Without me there to save him. I have to live with that guilt now for the rest of my life. Until I go up to meet him once again. I feel I could have saved him. But I know I could not have. The guilt still runs deep. I lost my loving husband of 22 years. Because I wasn't there. I was out of town. Nobody called to tell me my husband had died. I found out 3 days later by accident checking my email. Oh my God. The worst day of my life. I'll never be the same again. I can hardly live without him. He was more of a man than most could ever be. What a Mensch he was. A 1st Prize. I was the luckiest woman on the planet. For, 22 loving years. We were connected at the hip. Oh, how I miss him. It's impossible not to miss him every single day of my life. And now I have this new use diesel pusher for myself. It's all I have left now. I lost my home. And I have to leave most of my memories behind.. I don't know how I'm going to do that? I can't do that to myself. I can't throw my previous life away. But I have no room to put it in a Motorhome. There's just too much. From decades of my life, profession, career and my incredible love life with my now late husband. Gobs of photos. Gobs of recordings we made together. Gobs of videos we produced. I don't want to lose everything. I have to be out of the house by the end of August. Drop dead on the 31st. From the current house I've been staying in for eight years now. But all of my family members have since passed on.. I'm the only one left. I cannot sustain this house either. Not without them. I'm moving into a new phase of my life I guess.. One I never expected. Never wanted. Not this way. But I'm also a lifelong camping enthusiast. And I loved my previous motorhome. But it's kaput. And had to be replaced. And I needed to move up in the world. And this is a beauty. With 3 slide outs that all work. And it becomes huge. It's weird feeling it gets so big. I could have a dinner party. If I can only get a dining room table in. LOL. You never know with me. That would be fun. On a cold winter day. To invite a batch of friends over for dinner inside. And have a dining room table set up. With plenty of chairs. There's room. And since I am mostly ELECTRONIFRIED. I also use Induction Cooktops. They are great. Put them on the dining room table. Cook on the table. You can do it. It doesn't get hot. It's 100% safe. Nothing can burn except the food. And it won't light up. As there are no flames. So no fat to catch fire. It only makes sense in an easily flammable Motorhome interior. I am not into propane. That's foolhardy. I am not yet certain whether my roof mounted air conditioners are also heat pumps? As I do not plan to stay in frigid cold temperatures anymore either. I don't care if I ever see a snowflake again in person for the rest of my life,! And so I'm going to stay in the great Southwest hot deserts. That's what I love. Almost Endless Summer. To let the days melt by. As I have nothing and no one left to live for. Except myself. My work is done. My career over. My age creeping ever higher. Time to enjoy Retirement. In a beautiful old diesel pusher motorhome. Until I can no longer afford nor physically able to drive it anymore. When I will park it for the last time. Until my eventual passing. I intend to pass on inside. Somewhere where it will be a long time before they find me. And I will be with my husband once again. For all eternity, to come. Just the 2 of us. I know he's waiting. RemyRAD
😎 Hint: There are sound deadening curtains and we have some we got from a Air Firce Reserves Air Base used in living quarters on base and they really do a good job of blacking out a room and blocking the sound. They are heavy and very thick but also soft.
So you love it because it's small and you hate it because it's small. lol... And i'm surprised that you tow a jeep 1000 pounds heavier than suggested. But I still love you.
I used to Roam our Nation on my Motorcycle full time, my 25 foot RV feels HUGE and Luxurious !
Sweet! We appreciate all your support over the years Hans. Thank you 🙏❤️🇺🇸

I agree with John. Cop a feel! We are part timing in a Truck Camper. BTW: Want more storage? Do like we do - toss it in the jeep we are towing!!
Yes we do
The only thing I hate about your RV is that it's not parked beside me any longer and you keep moving it. I have to search all over the campground to find it when I need to siphon some gas! Fortunately, I "marked it" when it was beside me making the search easier.

My husband and I RV'd for a number of years in different rigs. Since I'm extremely short, reaching the overhead storage was a constant problem.
Never considered this! Something else to suggest. Thank you

That is awesome! Congratulations
Tow capacity and groceries we solved with two Segway GT2 Superscooters inside enclosed container attached via tow hitch.
Awesome Michael! I’m looking for a scooter

For 3 people, a class C is very tight. But a disciplined, well planned couple or a solo person can probably do full time in one. Great, honest review.
I have a 31' Class C with 2 slides and a Jack & Jill bathroom . Love it. Longer rig & slides, makes alot of difference.
Storage is one reason some people recommend super C. Is on a 550 or 5500 frame or larger. Those are 27 feet and longer.
One of 3 things why everyone have a complaint about the motorhome.
1) kitchen too small
2) small living room or not enough seating
3) small bathroom
Bonus
4) small kitchen plus small living room equals, limited storage.
5) counter space issues.
Try slicing meat while she is doing dishes and cooking. Out of counter space.

JOHN u released the loca latina!!!! I LOVE IT 😂😂😂😂
😂🤣😂🤣 Mike! God bless America 🇺🇸
Tow or towed vehicle can be storage for paper products, water and beverages etc. We even keep our Yeti in there. Anything bulky!
John takes up a lot of space 😂😂
lol 😂
My Micro Minnie is 21 ft 11 ". I've got plenty of storage . John has way too many tools for short trips. We carry 1 tool kit and what we need to change a tire. Most the time you can wait till you get home for minor repairs. A few fuses, screwdrivers etc, that's all we need.
We had the same problem with our clas c , we decided to go with a class a with a slide . We love it
My wife and I haven't gotten into an RV yet but it's our dream to do some traveling
We love RV’ing Angie! You’ll love it if you take the time to plan and take your time finding the right RV
You guys are a great team 😊. I’m glad you both have a good sense of humor. Your wife is a sweetie, sir. 😊
We’ve heard those corner beds are tough
Absolutely agree about the corner bed ! Sometimes the biggest workout I get all week .
I love this series! I'm looking for an RV but need a larger, maybe 30 ft. Storage is king and a washer dryer for the queen. I kinda think I want a Super C. Love and Prayers
Love Super C!!! That’s my dream RV one day
Always need more space, but it is a rv. We enjoy our time last week at Thunder Canyon. Wish we could have had more interaction with some of the people who were there. We did the ice cream social, and went to church on Sunday and enjoyed the discussion. Weather was really good for that time of year. And our camp site was great. Thanks
We loved having y’all. Unfortunately John was sick but he’s feeling better! Thank you so much for coming ❤️🙏
@@RVOddCouple I’m glad John is feeling better.
Well.... You're saying it with a smile and keeping perspective. Personally, I'm too OCD and would go nuts over the "little" things. Keep the good times going!
Keep smiling 😊
Best rv video I have seen. Got to find a way to save it. You are a great comedy team.
There is no perfect RV. The trick is to find one that works❤️ Thank you Julie🙏❤️🇺🇸
Well said!
My fifth wheel is perfect...all 42 ft of it!...has 6 slide outs!
We loved our 42 foot 5’er with 6 slides as well. We still have it😀
How does the roof look? Room enough for a cargo pod? You can be truly comfortable, and drive something the size of a tractor trailer. Or be a little cramped, and have something easy to drive.
Everyone is a little different. No such thing as one size fits all. Thank you Ken! Hope your well❤️
Enjoyable video, guys. Happy travels!
You guys are too funny.... I love your RV... omg, so much storage 😂 GM
Thank you!! 😁
No one ever tells you how many miles per gallon do u get?
Again I say you Guys are a Hoot !! Thanks For The Video!!
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤️
Hope y’all can visit us❤️ God bless Fred🙏
John... You copped a feel ? You're my hero ! Take care you two. 😊
Yes I did😂🤣
I'm looking forward to visiting Thunder Canyon either when the wife retires, and we get our RV or you get the cabins set up.
Looking forward to it. We have RV's you can rent too!
Hey guys 👋😊,
From watching your videos and hearing from others I'm looking forward to meeting you and to stay @ your campgrounds. I really enjoy and appreciate your truth's about rv life. My goal matures early 2026. I love being silly and laughing and you guys deliver.😂 Thanks 👍
Try 6'- 4" in these RV showers. Cozy for 2 though.
Love you Brother 🙏❤️🇺🇸
First world problems! 😂 Seriously though we also have things we love and hate about our trailer. Love you guys and love your videos! Wish we could visit Thunder Campground again some day. Haven’t been there since the grand opening July 4, 2022. Just wish y’all had established a campground in Colorado instead of Alabama. But y’all do have an awesome place! Keep on RVing, keep on making videos, and most of all keep on keeping the faith. ✝️🕊️🙏🏻
Thats a great looking jeep. Be careful towing it those big rims and tires have alot of weight to them. Can make the jeep wonder left and right.
Love are Jeep those massive wheels are the problem when towing
Yeah, but they look awesome. I sure do see alot of jeeps being towed behind Class C and Class A motorhomes.
Lol we are in a class A and my hubby always does the slide by to cop a feel😊
You both had me laughing so hard I was crying
That was the point of the video! God bless y’all and may God Bless America 🙏❤️🇺🇸
I'm with him....I don't see many negatives here. I was expecting something like you can't get very far off road or the hassles of having dually tires, things like that.
Thank you 😁
You're going to hear it, you're going to see it and you're going to smell it! 🤣🤣🤣
Mercedes and John be careful, there are Super Cs that can sleep around 6 people. (ie: Thor Magnitude RS36.)
Would a sway bar hitch help swaying?
Improvise, adapt, overcome
I've got a similar RV with a full wall slide which makes it a little better but it's just me and the wife. Very happy with the size easy to park and maneuver trade it in my class a and this is way better.
Slides are awesome! They create a ton of space!
your tow cap should be more than 4500... unless its on an E350 pre 2021 V10
Thank you so much for all the information
You are so welcome!
I actually thought a new video from you would be about another topic. Glad it's not. Thanks for a laugh. Lord knows we need it. Good night and God Bless.
You are so welcome🙏❤️
the underneath tool space is very very small
Really small!
Freeze dried food take less room but you need water for it.
That works too
Towing beyond that motor capacity will ruin it quickly.
All you need is water proof Storage containers and you can set them outside when your not on the road.
Interesting idea but too much work for me
@@RVOddCouple your not that old . You can do it.
John, I know you are pretty passionate about the storage in the RV, but In my experience of 62 years when the wife says we need more storage the husband only has to choose whether to move into something with more storage or to build on. and sorry to say my friend, building on is not very practical.
Does your park allow German shepherds?
Absolutely 👍 Just keep’em on a leash😀
Love you guys ! We all figure out how to make things work!! Adjustments!! ;-)
Adjustments is the key word!
Try 12v fridge cooler for more.
Great tip
Haven't heard the term Grocery Getter.
Myself and my hubby have a 26 foot and it's still isn't big
Nice video, Mercedez feed John a steak w potatoes the guy is super lean
Agreed
Storing toilet paper becomes a challenge in the smaller RVs.
You can save room in the cabinets by not bringing John's coffee cup
Nobody touches my coffee cup Tim😂🤣😂🇺🇸
I like the video as always.. you can have anti-sway device installed under the Jeep and it will not sway while you pull it and it will not turn over because it might be top heavy.. it is just something good to have in general.. you may even be able to install it yourself.. check it out John!!👍👍🇺🇸🙏😎🤗🥂
Great tip! But we added anti sway and it helped a little. Our Jeep is custom and about 1500lbs over tow capacity.
(Fingers crossed, and praying hard!!)
I liked both of your videos about your RV.
What a beautiful message Paula! Thank you for the support over the years. God bless you and we hope one day we can meet. Much love🙏❤️🇺🇸
You did buy this small Rig sell it and get a bigger one.
Where are you located at I AL
Save a spot for us,we’re coming the end of September.
Perfect time of year❤️ Looking forward to seeing you 🙏❤️🇺🇸
I pull a jeep gladiator. I have a 24 foot Class C Winnebago. No sway
Our Jeep is custom and about 6k lbs
@@RVOddCouple oh wow. Ok. That’s alot of I paid 5500.00 for my tow pkg. I don’t even know its behind me
That small RV is the grocery getter.
Well , you're not living in it full time. Yes, the simplest the better. More storage more clutter. Get a 5th wheel
😊

Wouldn't a trailer be good to put,not a huge one but something big enough
We don’t suggest anyone tow a trailer. Too much work when RV’ing and hard to store at campground
We will be there the firstpart ofAugust.
See yall soon😀 God bless you🙏❤️🇺🇸
Roof has space 😅
🤣😂🤣
Serves a purpose!
Amen!
Yay...... 🎉
I love the RV
Can you say diesel pusher.
Sounds like you two are getting a new camper very soon.lol.
Sounds great!
So you love it because it's small and you hate it because it's small. lol... And i'm surprised that you tow a jeep 1000 pounds heavier than suggested. But I still love you.
😂🤣😂 Love y’all! God bless you and America 🙏❤️🇺🇸
You guys are too cute 😂
