King Charles Meets ‘Queen Scotland’ in Special Week of Scottish Celebrations

- The King met "Queen Scotland" as he arrived for his first public engagement in Scotland since his coronation.
During a visit to Kinneil House, His Majesty was welcomed by crowds, including Bo'ness Fair Queen, Lexi Scotland, who was wearing her ceremonial robes and a crown.
Charles also planted a tree, met with young Scout members and was shown around the public park’s greenhouse. Report by Lance Chinnian.

Kilt. Kilts are only pleated at the back. Skirts are pleated all the way around or not at all.

Striking Public Service Workers get a decent wage they just don't budget well, generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays, paid sick leave (with sickness in the public sector higher than the private sector), a pension they would have to pay a lot more into to get in the private sector and when they muck up (and I cleaned that up) THEY NEVER GET THE SACK. It's a job for life but all we hear is they are going to leave BUT NEVER DO!!!

I hadn't know anything about this queen until now, but it seems that Bo'ness local government misses it's chance to advertise this city and attract tourists to the annual coronation of this queen, because this tradition exists more than 100 years

All over Scotland, in summer, there are special events and at these fairs and gala days there are often Queens of the event. These are young girls of about 12 years often chosen by their classmates from school. Bo’ness Fair is one of the biggest events in Scotland and Europe.
