I’ve spent the better part of the last 51 years sharing narrow roads with loaded log trucks in the Oregon Coastal Mountains, but to see something as narrow as some of the places you were in this video gives me a new meaning to “narrow roads”.
That one at the end that is next to the river is indeed narrow. I drove my two and a half ton service truck down a narrow road one night. I saw some small trees next to the road. The next day when I came back in the daylight, those small trees were the tops of 150' trees. It was almost a vertical drop for 100 feet.
@@gapster46 yes, and the fact that 90% of these impossible trails are being used by Rorys "Trailmater", a full sized 4wd PU with a DUALLY rearend and no rear steer just blows my mind!
@@Tomalexi not near me. Idaho. But norrh Idaho is jam packed with old logging/mining trails made for horse/donkey carts. 6-7' wide and on almost vertical mountain sides. I have been up and down many while hunting, and some have deadfall trees across them that effectively ends your direction of travel. People dont understand that most mountain trail travel means you can walk down the trail middle---stick one hand out and touch the hillside then stretch your other arm out and its 8' above the hillside below it. Those pioneers who hand cut these "roadways" into the hills had balls of steel.
@@jeffproctor1690 You are right about the early pioneers. The trees down is the main reason that I always carry a chainsaw on my Polaris quad. A few times I have had to cut a dozen trees out of the trails. In places, backing up for extended periods of time is crazy scary so it is much easier just cut the tree out of the way.
Rory, Mike and Shawn did an excellent job and gave us some great episodes while you were gone. But it’s good to have you back and have the team back together. Congratulations on the marriage and best wishes for the future.
This video has it all. Master class on trail repairs from the incomparable Rory, beautiful landscape vistas including a fantastic sunset from what I think are some of the best camera guys and editor on YT, and a blown big block Chevy yanking not one but TWO broke Fords through the sand with what sounded like plenty of throttle to spare. Can't ask for more than that. As usual, great video guys!!
Two observations: 1) Dustin, I mean Justin, does a great Mike imitation. 2) Rocks getting caught between the dually tires has got to be a pain in the butt. Thanks for another great video!
I really have enjoyed the show better since Mike started narration, and asking customers what happened. I like more details on what got them stuck wherever they are. Good job Mike!
Going to repair one Ford with U-bolt and drive shaft problems and figure out what is wrong with the other Ford. Then tow both back. Good job Rory, Shawn, Mike and Justin. Beautiful sunset. Tesla on the road looking for a charging station. LOL!
You guys have the best jobs ever! Ya get to good off-roading in Moab, problem solving, fixing, wrenching!!! I love your channel; since I’m too old to do these kind of activities anymore, I get to experience your adventures via your channel.
I don’t care about all the adds so long as Shawn and Mike and the kid get paid!! And Roy stays happy!! And doesn’t turn green and rip his paints & shirt !! Keep hulk in the box!!
Just a quick "thanks" for sharing your day at the office with us! Mike...you never fail to show the spectacular scenery, and each video is a tour through the Southwest. Your dedication to filming is appreciated!
Hi, Rory: There are several ways how I enjoy your vids. One of the primary ones is to hear Shawn laugh. It's hilarious because any little thing gets him going. And of course, you all are way competent! Michael Rzewuski
Best line ever!!! " Ya notice where all the Fords are!!" I really enjoy your videos. The recoverys are cool and the scenery is beautiful! Plus seans laugh 😂 always makes my morning.
Welcome back Rory. That was an awesome adventure in Fordation, and scenic beauty and panoramic vistas, I should mention the sphinc puck while looking down into the bottomless cliff hole. great job guys. Thank you for taking us along. Be well.
Rory quietly letting his thoughts out when the Cyber Truck rolls by, “We’ll be recovering that in a minute”. I almost spit out my morning coffee 😂. Great video as always guys! Thank you 😊
Some of the best scenery you have captured. Blue sky when you were in the monument section. And what a sunset. I always feared meeting oncoming on the narrow section along the river.
I very much enjoyed watching your full day on the White Rim which brings back many happy memories I have driving it sometimes clockwise and other times counter clockwise. I rarely spent my spring and fall trips to Moab without a long White Rim day enjoying the 99 miles.
I was riding my bike that day and saw both rescue vehicles. Green truck passed us 1/2 way up hardscrabble going the opposite direction. Glad to see y’all made it without issue! Cool video, thanks for sharing!
Rory’s back, back again, recovering fords with his friends, Rory’s back Rory’s back! Congratulations to you and your better half buddy my best wishes to you both for your future.
Holy Cow!!!!!!! I’ve seen some really dumb things in 30 plus years of wrenching…….but I can’t recall seeing anyone use rectangle tube for a lift block!!
Justin was recruited to drive one of the trucks out and he did a good job! This was a tight recovery in places along the way and The Trail Mate Team got em out with Old Blue doing the heavy lifting. Good video and beautiful scenery!
Justin did really well at keeping that tow rope taught! But he does sometimes pan the scenery a little fast... (in the beginning of the video). But geezus, I hate going over big bridges, like Bong or Big Mac (Mike will know...). I could never go on these trails, omfg. Beautiful shots of Monument Valley area guys! ❤
Good day. The Cyberbeast weight is 6, 843 and the AWD Cybertruck is 6,603. They wouldn't last long on some of the trails that you rescue others vehicles from
Great content. The quality of the cinematography looks better. New cameras? Regardless, what a stunning landscape. You guys have the best office in the world. Thanks for posting.
"we'll be recovering that in a minute" 🤣🤣
At least it's not a 71 Lincoln Mark III with a chopped roof.
I had the same thought before Rory said it!
Rory beat on saying that. 😂😅🤣😆😁😄😁😅🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😅😅😅
I literally spit my coffee all over when he said that. 😂
Yessss!!! I died laughing....!!!
Cyber truck roll by… “we’ll be recovering that in a minute” 😂😂😂
Great impression of Mike. I love his emphasis on Nature!
Takin the pi$$ like mates do...Great attitudes...
I ❤ Mike's indepth nature and land history tours! Best parts of the videos!
That was spot on! 🤣 And yeah, like the vibe Mike brings! Don't ever change man!
If nobody has said it in the last 5 minutes You guys live in a truly beautiful area. Never get tired of the panoramic shots.
Man, you got me with the willies when you leaned over that ledge, that was a cool view though!!!
This video has some lovely nature scenes. I especially like the sunset at the end.
Loved Justin doing a Mike story
Fantastic
But has he yet been introduced to the 'Diamond-Billed Rock-Pecker'??? 😅
But he did well on a difficult trail,
Okay Justin that was a classic impression of Mike. I do love Mike’s knowledge of “stuff”. Great video as usual.
The camera over the edge was wicked 😮😂😂👍
That was...yikes! Wonder who discovered that spaaaaaaaaaaa.....splat!!! Spot!
Totally! I thought the sunset shots were incredible as well.
I'm not usually afraid heights but that shot made gave me a little shake !
The cinematography in this is spectacular! This God's country at the max.

Very cinematic set of rescues! Thanks for letting Moab be the star.

Congratulations Rory ! Great to see you back. Shawn and mike did very well while you were on your honeymoon
Rory was thinking about that Tesla Cybertruck "Yepp, I'll be receiving a call from him very soon." 😂😂😁😁🤘🤘
He'll need an off road roll back to drag it out... When the frame snaps in half, that is.
The new Mike's funny
The Cyber Truck was tested on Mars they are extremely reliable.
Hahahaha

Gave new meaning to Found On Road Dead with this video
Heeey now.......😊
Gotta maintain your vehicle no matter what it is. If you off-road just half everything on pavement the manufacturer says.
Thanks to Justin for cinematic shots. Very beautiful workplace you have. You make such recoveries look too easy.
The scenery is always gorgeous. But something about the lighting in this episode made it all spectacular. Wow
Thank you Rory , Mike , Shawn and Justin for the adventure , seeing some amazing scenery and great recoveries !
I never tire of the sound blue makes! It must be great to drive. Thanks for sharing
Broken Fords, gorgeous sunset in the desert, and spot on Mike impersonations. This video ranks VERY high!! Nice work fellas!
Just a quick "thanks" for sharing your day at the office with us! Mike...you never fail to show the spectacular scenery, and each video is a tour through the Southwest. Your dedication to filming is appreciated!
I love how much Justin sounds and stories like Mike at times. Good job guys and welcome to an awesome channel
I was going to say the same thing.😊
That rock between the right side duals was driving me nuts( sorry I am a old trucker)
Same here, bugged the shit out of me..
Had to hand unload (via shovel) a full grain truck when a rock got stuck between the duals and punctured a tire. Too much weight for the hi-lift jack!
Rory's back with a double header and the big guns. ❤
Beautiful Sunset over the Colorado River ❤
Green River...
Thanks for the juicy juniper facts Justin
That truly is God's Country...
Nice recoveries Rory, Mike, Shawn and Justin.
Thanks for the beautiful scenic views!
LOL that cybertruck came by and I immediately thought, "Rory is going to have some comment", and right on queue he did!
Congrats on your wedding good double rescue nice to see you back with the crew😊
I love seeing ol Blue being the best!

Am amazed about the scenery that is the added bonus that we enjoy when watching Rory and his team work their magic on the rescues that they do
Whoever decorated your office did one hell of a job!
34:49 Damn!!! That is just beautiful!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Gotta give props for the consistantly regulated distance of 10-11 feet😅. Thats talent right there!
Aside from the great recoveries, the scenery it's truly mindboggling, miles of incredible canyons and vistas that defy logic.
Rory quietly letting his thoughts out when the Cyber Truck rolls by, “We’ll be recovering that in a minute”. I almost spit out my morning coffee 😂. Great video as always guys! Thank you 😊
That rock stuck in the tire was driving me nuts! Thank you for showing that you got it out.
They get them all the time . Rough ride was one stuck in there.
Does a rock in the dualies cause a problem if left in?
@ shaking. Just like in a regular car and the tires out of balance.
@@bryanallred6661 It can wear out the side wall of the tire. And yes, it will make the set of duels out of balance.
Rory , you gonna sell Ole Blue's egg😂

Welcome back Rory 🙂 Thanks for sharing your adventures 🙂
This is a the A team ! All of you guys rock
Glad your back Rory ,
Nothing like the sound of a turbo on a beautiful sunset night!
Awesome scenery video. You guys are the best!
Where did you hear a turbo?
That's not a turbo, it's a mechanical drive supercharger
Ol Blue is supercharged. You will not find a turbo. Although they do the same thing.
I was riding my bike that day and saw both rescue vehicles. Green truck passed us 1/2 way up hardscrabble going the opposite direction. Glad to see y’all made it without issue! Cool video, thanks for sharing!
Great sunset. Roy, you have a SUPER TEAM ! !

Rorys just showing out now..!!!!!!..haha
Congrats on the wedding and the return..!!
Next time your transmission guy asks what you did to Old Blue's transmission - show him this video. That was an impressive day's worth of towing.
