Kudos to this young man. Not every kid needs to go to college. The trades are greatly underserved by the Z Gen’ers and Alphas. He would be well served to attend technical school.

I was this same little kid… I loved it until I became an adult that works and realized how severely underpaid our industry is. I still love the cars, working on my own cars… but the repair industry in general needs a labor rate revolution. Hopefully by the time he is old enough to work that has happened so he can hold on to his love for the craft because there are very few people getting into this trade these days.

When my son was 5 / 6 years of age id have him help me on my project's he was doing great for couple years then at some point my wife convinced him to stay away she said she by him a Xbox i flipped out are you kidding me that the worst idea ever 😢 well the Xbox won dad and his hot rod lost that and me and my son don't speak he is in his 20 we live in same house . and yes i still have my cars
