yeah, editor didn't even review the final video. always lower the background music to a min to hear any commentary.

I've recently discovered and it works. It gives me the correct swing path and I am hitting the ball so well. I say to myself, complete the circle and swing back and forth without the face flannel coming loose. When playing on my own, which I do a lot, I use it the entire round.
Great exercise to get your mind back into the right direction.
Hope this guy wins a lot more great for golf.

This is probably the best swing drill you will ever hear
People in general have no concept of how important "staying connected" is. And 99+ percent of them are not. Further when you tell them or show them on a range, virtually none of them pay any attention. Nick Faldo said it best of TV a few weeks ago after observing a bad shot. Said Nick, " the body has to swing the arms, not the arms swing the body". For those of you that do not know why you cannot carry your range game to the first tee, this is the answer. When you "stay connected" the need for timing goes way down. Nicklaus was very vocal about this too for decades. Said Jack many times, "there is no recovery from a bad take-away". Hal Sutton has been very vocal about this too. Said Hal. "my game was only as good as the first six inches of my take-away". You make or break "connectivity" right there.

Best tip I ever gave was just this and to lock out your left elbow (if right handed) to create maximum leverage. So yes, tuck in the arms to your ribs.

At what point in the swing is it OK for the glove to fall?
Never, you must finish the entire round without letting the glove fall

We were doing this with a headcover back in the mid 1980's when everyone worshiped Hogan (and gave him his credit for these kinds of drills).
Rick Shiels made a video with the same drill some days ago but with your own shirt. It's a good one!

Jimmy Ballard's Connection. Got it... Would be nice if you made reference to the guy that actually invented the concept and the drill.
It is one of the oldest tips in the book Does not have a specific owner I believe.

@@brianjones9147 It IS one of the oldest....and invented by Ballard and adopted by a lot of other top instructors. No big deal..Ballard probably doesn't really GAF and neither should I. I love Morikawa's swing and enjoy watching him... apparently he's got a swing that's bulleproof under pressure.
Ballard's bigger contribution was that he was one of the earliest proponents of the modern golf swing (low and around)...but again, I'm sure some will disagree though.
So can we see him hit the ball and actually do the drill or do we need to continue to listen to this rave music?

It's not useless. It's probably one of the most used drills in all of golf and has withstood the test of time, ever since it was popularized by the great Jimmy Ballard.
That’s an interesting take on the, towel tucked into both arm pits drill. I’ll have to try that.
