I found taking the rear pass wheel off and undoing the exhaust bolt that he shows plus one more hanger that's above the rear axle helped moving the exhaust easier. At that point I didn't need swivel since the rear tire was off. I did the hitch install in my driveway by myself. It was not easy. Very heavy and awkward, but doable. Thanks to the original poster for all the other help!
This video perfectly worked for my 2016 Grand Caravan. The swivel socket adaptor was a must to remove the bolt behind the muffler. Thanks for the great tutorial!
i see several types on the the website but there different prices but seem the same what are the differences, one says heavy duty but looks the same and the max weight with distribution says 5000 but ive seen ppl do 5500 and up and i think 9k.....i just want it hidden like in the video and the strongest, i got an 06 sienna with a uhaul hidden hitch but ots not hidden at all
We are speaking about the Hitches rating, which is 4000 pounds capacity and up to 5000 lbs With weight Distribution. This is not the same as your vehicles "manufacturer reccomended" Towing Capacity.
This curt hitch retails for $179 and takes almost 1 hour to install. With the addition of a $66 wire harness part #CMF56331, the 1 hour it takes to install it, plus a drawbar, tow ball, receiver pin and wiring bracket, I see $538.70 here in Phoenix, AZ.

Good video. Well done.
Does the hitch come with bolts or do I re use the old ones?
You re-use the factory Hardware.

This is Curt hitch 13364. What hitch did you purchase?
Do you have to have the car up on the stands for this?
Its not required.
I thought the grand caravan was towing 3600lbs max?

Excellent video brother! By chance, are you Ryan Reynolds working at U-Haul on the side?
