Nice. You make it seem so simple, but it's really hard. And then when it isn't, what fun. Relearning stuff I forgot back in the day. Now I'll be dancing all night fathoming these moves.
For a lesson video, I think you should use un-lit poi in a brightly-lit room. In this video, there's a skipping/strobing effect of the poi passing by each other, and it's harder to visually track what each poi head is doing.
great instructional video, but can you perhaps add a segment that has you zoom in on the wrists/hands to show their movements more clearly? Also, where do you purchase your lighted poi? thank you.
many a times it hit my groin(including balls) it really hurts!!!!... but i m ready to pay the price if i can do like u guys...thanks for wonderful tutorial
@ITANAGAR12345 It's REALLY fun. Especially when you get into the harder stuff. It takes a bit of time, though. Sometimes it takes weeks to learn moves, but it is SO worth it in the end.
Back here again! After my 7 year break but during this pandemic time I miss so badly poi spinning ❤️ Thanks for keeping this channel alive and well🙏

Awesome content and lessons! You rock, thank you so much!
*_Can we just take a moment to appreciate all the efforts he puts in his videos?✨✨_*
Great tips and explanations!!
I learned how to do opposites by starting one poi before the other. It's easier than trying to start both at the same time.

This one is really helpful, it shows that it's never enough of practicing :) And, that basics can look better than complicated moves sometimes ;)

I find it difficult to do the the split time poi.......either am doing it so fast or am doing it wrong....it jus that am not getting it....🥺
Being a nunchaku practitioner for over 30 years..I thought I could pick these up and be a pro in no time...definitely not the case..lol!
as a drummer i actually have an easier time doing the split-time styles than the same-time styles lol
OMG i cant even do the first lesson. it doesn't look as good as his and its really tricky. i'm not quiting. i just got to keep going.
I just now came to know there exits a game called " poi" by spinning balls attached to a string 😁
How much rice do you put in the balloons?
My pois are about 60g each (balloon+sand+sock) and it's definitely heavy enough for me

It's a great idea, but I just don't have the time. I have hundreds of videos up, and really not much traffic.
