Hi! I'm Looking at getting into fire poi, however have never done poi before. Should I buy a set of led poi first to learn with, then once i'm good enough get a set of fire poi, or buy a set of fire poi and not light them until im ready? If you suggest led poi first, what set is suitable (weight and design similar) that will lead me onto fire poi in the future? Thank you!! Great video!
LED Poi are an excellent choice for how versatile they are! We have both Fire & LED Poi available here: sacredflowart.com/product-category/poi/led-poi/
I've wanted to get into flow arts, especially poi spinning. I've been following yt tutorials for beginner moves with homemade poi for a little while now. But as it is, I don't see myself improving much with just that. With some tricks I cant manage to get them right, since theres no one to guide me or tell me what I'm doing wrong. I was wondering, it there some other way to learn these things? Where could I get actual feedback on what I'm doing? Also, realistically, is it possible for a 19 year old with no background on anything related to get decently good at it? Or is this one of those things where you need some luck to have started out early in life to make it? I'm not looking to make a career out of it or anything like that. Just as a personal hobby, since it has always been pulling me in a way where I don't want to just watch other people do it online, I want to experience the thrill of it myself

I am a beginner and I do poi without fire. I'm quite good and I can do almost all the tricks you have shown in the video without fire. When should I start using fire?
I was thinking the same thing. The poi performance event even used special fire retardant outfits! It is like a fantasy art, they make it look so easy 💕

Is there much difference between fire poi and regular poi besides one using fire? Are there regular poi moves considered too dangerous for fire poi?
Only do moves you're comfortable with! But some contact poi moves you should not do with fire. Such as arm rolls.
What material you use for the fire and how long does the fire last ?
Kevlar & About 5-8 minutes. Here's our fire poi options: sacredflowart.com/product-category/poi/fire-poi/
This is a big ask but can you do a video doing all these together? I learned individual moves and have a hard time transitioning
