Ruby's origin (from what we've seen so far) really reminds me of the setup for Sky in SJA series 5 (baby abandoned on a doorstep with powers of some sort) so it would be interesting if RTD is taking the unfinished story of Sky (where she's the child of the trickster I think) and uses it with Ruby instead
So the Trickster was mentioned albeit it was not the main villain. This doesn't mean he couldn't still make an appearance. These themes feel way too similar. I'm convinced Ruby is probably the daughter of at least one deity from the Pantheon. Whether it's the Trickster, or the god of Light Horus, or Sutekh himself, we'll have to wait to know
I have a feeling it's Death incarnate. But your theory is valid, too. But if it IS the Trickster, does that mean the Bannerman Road team are coming back for one last adventure?
I would be happy to see the Trickster again, but it would feel wrong for the Trickster to not go against the Bannerman Road Team one last time, even if Sarah Jane is missing it would atleast give them the proper send off they deserve.
@@bitlost2809 The Doctor said that Maestro was a member of "the pantheon" (meaning the same group of gods as The Toymaker), not necessarily "The Pantheon of Discord". While I think it would be cool, no connection, beyond possibly the musical one in the video has been made yet.

Possibly, I think it's definitely the trickster since it's his theme used in all the episodes he's in
