Thanks a looot. I'm going to start with Practical Shotgun Manual (pump action). I already do pistol and mini-rifle (cal .22). I don't know what shotgun should buy (or avoid). My shooting club has areas about 25 meters (23 yards) long. There is a proyect to construct new areas about 50 m (42 yards) but I don't know if shotguns will be allowed in the new areas. As I can see most people use Benelli Nova - supernova. There are 2 models Nova Tactical and Nova Slug that comes in 50 cm (20 inches). I don't know if those models can be competitive. Seems that those models don't allow chokes. Sure I'm wrong but 61 cm (24 inches) seems too long. Or in your opinion wich one (Brand/Model/cannon lenght) should I consider. Thanks a lot.

Hi Antonio, Great to hear you are entering the world of IPSC. I think you'll find it very rewarding. I'm based in the UK and our law is minimum 24inch barrel. I don't shoot pump, I shoot Dissident Arms KL12 in open. I suggest you contact Conners at magload.co.uk. Not only is he an international shooter having won several Presidents medals, he shoots a Benelli in Standard Manuel division and makes several excellent up grades and products for Benelli pumps and Practical shotgun. Good luck and don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel.

What part of that was supposed to be PRACTICAL ?

      The competition or the video?

@@DavidRodriguez-ox1uu - IPSC is International PRACTICAL Shooting Confederation . Aside from the act of firing , none of their gear , firearms , or tactics was practical .
Great innovations have come from IPSC , but it has degenerated into a game . Jeff Cooper and his crew started it as a method to access gunfighting skill as a practical matter . It's amusing to watch , but has no relation to the real world .

@@uglydog311 And.....time goes on .......... best thing then is for you to join the IPSC region where you live and lobby for rule changes since that is how such changes come about . The fact that it isn't "tactical" is the whole idea , it is an internationally recognised shooting SPORT . I am sure that all members of IPSC recognise the incredible contributions that were made by Jeff Cooper and his crew but in order for it to be a truly INTERNATIONAL sport certain things had to change over the years . It's a matter of personal choice as far as most competitors are concerned , if it aint for you then it aint for you , if "tactical" is more your bag then there's always IDPA
