BAD lever poses a potential negligent discharge risk, PDQ is a Godsend if you're using a BFAR with a sack and need to manually lock the bolt back without twisting it around in odd ways. In any other situation I'd say ambi bolt release is pointless.

Ummmm…..this has nothing to do with running the gun left handed. The purpose of the PDQ is to allow you to lock/release the bolt without breaking your grip and to allow easier clearing of malfunctions without having to have three hands.

@@DavidRodriguez-ox1uu - IPSC is International PRACTICAL Shooting Confederation . Aside from the act of firing , none of their gear , firearms , or tactics was practical . Great innovations have come from IPSC , but it has degenerated into a game . Jeff Cooper and his crew started it as a method to access gunfighting skill as a practical matter . It's amusing to watch , but has no relation to the real world .

@@uglydog311 And.....time goes on .......... best thing then is for you to join the IPSC region where you live and lobby for rule changes since that is how such changes come about . The fact that it isn't "tactical" is the whole idea , it is an internationally recognised shooting SPORT . I am sure that all members of IPSC recognise the incredible contributions that were made by Jeff Cooper and his crew but in order for it to be a truly INTERNATIONAL sport certain things had to change over the years . It's a matter of personal choice as far as most competitors are concerned , if it aint for you then it aint for you , if "tactical" is more your bag then there's always IDPA

It is a K22 Race and Shield RMS 4moa red-dot.. With custom work by Mark Derbyshire and Andy Haines. I use Eley Action Plus . I have never seen a Cactus Arms Glockalike, nor do i know anyone who's fired one so can't comment. I do however have time on the Caliber Innovations Glock LBP. I've put 5/600 rounds of a mixed bag of ammo through one (mainly Eley action plus as i shoot for Eley) and after an initial "braking in" it ran great. The slide would lock back mid mag for the first 100 or so rounds. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a Glock LBP. I would def get one myself if life was that easy?!?!?

Iv'e only come across a few comments on the Cactus Arms UK one (and their facebook page) as info is fairly rare, but what little there is seems to be positive, and it's quite a bit cheaper than the Caliber model. That's interesting about the CI one though, would love one if money was no object. Shame Glock won't do a conversion of their recent Glock 44 model - that'd be pretty sweet. I'll take a chance on Cactus and if it turns out to be horrible I'll switch to a K22 as they seem to be very well regarded.

No, its just got a rod coming out the back off the grip to make the over all length no less than 600mm. UK law for minimum length of Section 1 firearm. Ie its a rifle!
