I did the skirt cerakote and it was just under .001 on the skirts and .002 on the dome since they are diffrent. Prayers and love what you do. God Bless

If you haven't heard of it, I'm pretty sure I'm going to use Line2Line coatings on my best friend's ZX14R turbo engine build.
They make abradable coatings that are made to wear in (during a short break in period, then oil change) to what I'll call the happy place, where the parts are only
"as loose as they need to be" and not too loose = reduces pistons rocking. They do pistons, bearings, blowers, turbo housings and even parts like oil pump gears, rotors and I've seen and heard nothing but good feedback about them and their coatings...

Hi KC, yeah I've seen their videos and web site as well. Not sure I will bother with this motor. I've run coated pistons many times, and non coated and they still last for years. Thanks Dale
