Way to go EE! This looks like a tough place to go when you're feeling good. Hitting this when you're less than 100% takes real heart! Thanks for sharing
Will let him know and you would not believe how sick he was just 2 days prior. But he is a fighter and he just didn not want to skip this place and so glad for that. Thanks.
Another great explore. It's good to hear eagle eyes is feeling better. Also, neither one of you will have to think about joining a gym. Your adventures keep you fit. As usual, the quality of work is impressive, whether it is granite .stairs lasting forever and/or multi-level firing positions, and/or "short cuts" through mountains. TY for your time and effort put into making these discoveries. Keep well.
So glad Eagle Eye was able to recover so quickly! Thank you for all your hard work, it is appreciated! The amount of work and ingenuity that went into this installation is impressive.
Wow, another amazing place. It's like a mini city in there. Well done EE and glad you are feeling better mate. You do us all proud with the life lessons you learn from your Dad. Keep up the good work, as I'm sure you will.
After 48 hours in a dusty field somewhere, this is just what I needed, another amazing site you and EE have found for us to see. EE well done on the speedy recovery, you are a star. So much more to see, I can hardly wait. Stay safe and well my friends
Oh my goodness!! This area looks amazing. I loved the fact that the steel doors were still there for the ammo storage. And the amount of work they did to create the stairs, etc is overwhelming!!! I can't wait to see what else is at this place. And for EE to be up and about riding his bike for that distance after a spell is awesome!!! Keep rolling EE!!!!! Thanks for this; looking forward to the rest. Stay well and SMILE
I think the one thing that always fascinates me about these structures is that you know they've outlived most of the people who built them and used them.
You are just so lucky to still be able to view those WW2 bunkers still almost just like they were left when the war ended I can only dream what fun it would be to explore those sites the videos are fun and informative and you are good at bringing the stories to life
Always amazing so many resources for this wall that did not stop the invasion, crazy. EE way to push through, glad you are doing better. Thank you for sharing history and all your efforts!
This is a site you could spend days mapping. Great find. Gladd EE got well enough to participate on this trip. Stay safe and well out there keep up the great work.
Yes he was sick as a puppy and didnt like it a bit but he recovered so quick and wanted to go no matter what :) Will share more from here soon and greetings from us.
Wow EE, you are a trooper being so active and busy on this trip despite being ill! You rock young man!! The mountain fortress is truly amazing and has a fantastic view of the waters it had to defend. The trenches, caves and tunnels hewn out of the rock are spectacular and will last forever ❤.
EE I'm glad you got better and was able to make this location. So much to see. Take a mountain and make a fortress out of it. Thank you and EE for the tour and can't wait to see what else is here. Take care and stay safe my friends.
i am a big student of ww2 history but being in north America most of what you show would be hard for me to explore. i love your channel for bringing this to me and so many more.
Woo hoo! One of my favorite locations for you to visit, a coastal artillery site! Was especially interesting since it had been the country's site before the Germans invaded and took it over as their own. Loved the old pictures of the guns that had been there pre-invasion. Looking forward to seeing the additional upcoming videos of this location. A big thumbs up to Eagle Eyes for his quick recovery and being a real trooper on this visit. Looks like he was wearing you out.
Thumbs up to EE for recovering so fast after being sick, and to you, HH, for being able to speak clearly after riding uphill for 3km. Know I'd be leaning against the wall trying to catch my breathe instead of talking :) What an amazing place. You can see how strategically important it was from all that pre-war construction. That double 24cm howitzer position was fascinating, especially with that steel lined blast wall. Never seen anything like that before. When those guns fired, the noise, and the shockwave, and the smoke, would have been mind numbing to behold. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of this location. Cheers to you both! Stay Well!
Goodness! What an interesting place to explore. Thank you Eagle Eyes for being such a trooper and for being there to help your dad. Its wonderful seeing someone of your age being outside instead of constantly having your nose stuck into a phone. Lol. This area is amazing with all the gun placements and tunnel like positions. Not to mention that elaborate trench system. Until our next adventure take care and stay safe. 💖💯
Glad to see that EE is better! Another fantastic location, can't wait to see more of it. We used to tour all over the US when I was a kid and I hope EE is enjoying his trips as much as I did. Always really enjoyed when we went to a Civil War site, no matter how obscure it was! I did sign up to be a Patreon team member. Wish it could have been more, but being on a limited income, it wasn't possible. Maybe you can pick up a few chocolate bars for EE and BBG!
Hello fellows. I love the orginal sliding doors for the ammo storage. Also the original railings for hand holding as the crews climbed the stairs. Great stuff.
Fascinating site with wall to wall bunkers and emplacements. 2 Howitzer sites with a blast wall, too. Great find! EE didn’t seem ill at all. More like a soldier on a mission. Bravo EE!
Hi guys, glad eagle eyes is feeling better. I'm sure even sick eagle eyes can run circles around history hunter! Thanks for all you do. I look forward to seeing all your videos. Be safe and well.
Big Thumbs up to little EE!! He's your little trouper and you should be so proud of him,, I remember when he was so small and you let him tag along :),,, Keep it up little EE, one day you'll have your own TH-cam Channel following in your fathers footsteps! :)
Thank you HH & EE for sharing. Just think of what history could be in the ground at that location? As always I look forward to your next adventure and " Good Hunting "
My friend you are too kind. I will let EE have this kind donation for him specifically and i know he will make good use of it. We thank you for your kindness and honored to have you here with us. Keep smiling and have a great summer out there :)
Now that was a fantastic location love that place! It was just amazing ! Thank y’all so much ! EE you’re the man hang in the cause I love tosee you at your dads side ! Thanks HH !! Thanks EE for all you do!!! Be careful! Be safe ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I couldn’t go on one of these adventures with you. You would be yelling at me the whole time to come on, we can’t spend all day looking at one thing. We have only one fort in South Carolina that was used during WW2. All our history is about the Revolutionary War and Civil War. I would take my family on trips to see these and spend all day exploring every time I would go. History is everywhere and so grateful I found your channel. My passion for WW2 history is like yours. I guess that’s why I go back and rewatch your videos. I’ll continue to watch them as long as I am able to, so keep them coming.
The Germans have left their footprints all over Europe. Hard to tell that Eagle Eyes was sick. He’s out doing you on this adventure. So happy he’s better and able to go on this adventure. I have wondered what would have happened if the Germans put more resources into offensive weapons instead of all these defensive positions. It’s amazing to see they built a tunnel through a mountain just to get from one side to another. Thank you for sharing these forgotten locations.
The defensive positions was no more than getting less soldiers on a border with the sea. I can tell you that we in Europe would all be speaking German if they landed in a different part of France or if they would to the same here in the Netherlands where coastal defense was way better than the landings side they chose. It was a matter of 1 tank division that was not there and nobody wanted to wake up Hitler and Rommel was of on leave, all these "coincidences" played a huge part in the invasion at that day! Many people died that day both on alied side and axis side. I go there every year to pay my respect to both parties. It's a true lost on both parts and the man and woman who did everything they could that was told them to do. Now we can see the same thing happening in the Oekraïne and Russia and it hurts to see that many many innocent people lost their lives and keep losing there lives. It's always old people with grey hair that make war and it's always young people who pay with there lives. If there might be a God, and I do believe in God, I can only pray and hope all this will soon be over and done with. Peace is not something to take lightly, it's a miracle that we can speak and write freely every day of the week. I hope I've day will come and there is no greed and pain and hunger but most of all respect and peace!

Glad to hear EE is much better, you two make a great team! Another interesting location , construction looks rushed, but maybe it looks that way because they used the rocks they had at hand along with concrete. You two will do what it takes - even riding bikes up the mountain! Stay safe and stay well!
yes he did recover pretty quick and glad for that Donald. Out on the long journey right now and having a blast and discovering so much and cant wait to share with you later. Be safe and have a great summer my friend :)
What a fantastic site to explore. Can only imagine the finds you will get with a metal detector. Would love to spend a week just exploring. Would be cool to see then & now pics of this site. So cool. Thanks for sharing. Glad EagleEyes was able to beat his cold to make the trek. Until the next vid. God Speed you three! Yes there was even a short and intense battle there. Great explore and just loved seing it. We will share more form here later and we are even going to create a drone video from the area later. Thanks.
Nothing keeps EE down. Not surprised at all that he would rally around ready for yet another WW2 adventure. That MG42 position was definitely strategically placed. Nice bike EE. You should be able to get around on that. Wish the gun was still there on the Tobruk and the other gun positions. It would be a "B" to get up and down that one area for sure. Some of those stairs were massive. Just trying to envision the German soldiers running up and down them in time of battle. You did a lot of physical exercise including the biking. That place was simply amazing. Yes,the Howitzer position was stunning. Very smart constructing a deflection protective barrier. Again another very well organized and laid out German defensive fortress. Amazing that all those structures are still standing. No more injuries and getting sick you two. Looking forward to the next adventure and your long summer road trip. Thank you HH and EE. ❤
This is a really cool and I can just imagine the amount of activity going on here. All the men working and then an alert comes and they all scrambled Willham Hanz Frederick all running
Yea the masonry is what surprised me about the building wonder how they carved it in such timing & preparedness like Egyptians just used rocks to carve electric tools was hard to get back then for 1940s I believe.
Yes Cynthia , sometimes the locations talks so much to us and you will see that in part 2 coming soon. EE is fully healed and wild as ever :) Thank you and have a great summer my friend :)
I just found the channel. Really amazing your work and adventure. Congratulations! Is there anywhere that you put the location of those places? I really would to visit this place on day. Thanks
What an amazing view of one impregnable type of German bunker defenses...it is quite hard to imagine with this type of defenses that the german military defense erected will resulted their lost in the battle!!!....
@@WW2HistoryHunter you and EE are my guide into WWII history and background info. My grandfather fought against the nazis when they invaded my country ( Holland ) and I still have his letters from the pow camp in Germany and his stories. Thank you both for the joy and enthousiasme!
I love your videos and the hard work you both do, but a video without Lil Ee would not be the same. That kid makes me giggle. Glad your feeling better Eagle Eyes!!!
So that bunker on the thumbnail is not in this? I thought look at that with the Swastika and everything, Great condition, I could of missed it. I hope you are not using click bait, I enjoy ur' videos a lot. U do great work, No disrespect, Was a little disappointed I did not see it here.
Another thing, a teaspoon of whiskey mixed into honey and hot water, that won't hurt him a bit, he'll rest better, breathe much easier, won't feel all drained.
Man I'm sorry to hear that EEs sick, the pollen here is horrible, we're all sick, now a mug of very warm water as hot as you can deal with, honey and lemon juice mixed together, sip on it, that'll help with breathing, soar throat a mug of hot water with a tablespoon of salt stirred, gargle with it don't drink it, that'll toughen up any soar spots. Upset stomach, ok a tablespoon of castor oil, drink it fast, one raw egg too. You'll hate me for that but you'll feel 100 % better. Coughing, forget cough syrup, get it out of your system, cough it up. Get better young man.

Yes EE doe so well that. Thanks and we wish you a great summer my friend :)
Yea the masonry is what surprised me about the building wonder how they carved it in such timing & preparedness like Egyptians just used rocks to carve electric tools was hard to get back then for 1940s I believe.
Great explore and thanks :)

Of course EE is such a great boy and he is my hero in many ways. Thanks my friend.
I wonder where to find info about the Atlantikwall south of Bordeaux area towards Spain.

@@WW2HistoryHunter Oh ok, Thanks for the reply. :)
Another thing, a teaspoon of whiskey mixed into honey and hot water, that won't hurt him a bit, he'll rest better, breathe much easier, won't feel all drained.
Another great one guys glad eagle eyes is better
Very glad to read that and thanks Karl :)
All about eagle eye 😎👍🏻🇺🇸🇩🇪
Thanks for that :)
Wow loved this 👏
Thank you!!
Get better young man.
yes pollen can be a pain in the butt and we thank you for your great tips my friend. Have a great summer William :)
@@WW2HistoryHunter Good morning, it's hot already, as long as we make it without hurricanes and tornadoes, it'll be fine.
Who did the dismantling of these bunkers?
I really dont know. Great place and thanks for taking time to be here with us :)
Go Eagle Eyes !!!
Indeed he doe and thanks so much for that :)
