You guys found an old mine thats intersects natural cave formations very cool, the reason I say its a old mine draft is in the ceiling there appears to be drill marks and the compressed air line running in from the outside not to mention the brick work and old cement bags that look like pillows now, I would venture a guess that the true floor was buried by the 3 to 4 feet of rock and sand from years of storm run off.

A friend of mine years ago bought some land in Middle Tennessee and it had a cave on it. Since I was a spelunker from way back we went in and about 400 yards in we found a waterfall about 8ft tall, His house was off grid so we put a big funnel under the falls and hooked 3 inch hose to it and ran it downhill to his house and plumbed it. He had free ,fresh clean water for his place.
That's funny, when I was in middle Tennessee I took a big sloppy dump in a little creek that flowed into a hole in a rock formation. Seemed like it went underground but who knows

9:00 All of the very smooth stone formation you're looking at is called flowstone, very smooth sediment deposits that were made with flowing water over hundreds and thousands of years. Something is caused that watery basin to dry up. There used to be a continuous waterfall keeping the entire area moist. Whatever is generating that higher temperature that you previously mentioned is probably what dried this place up.
You guys always have a good positive attitude down there, while I'm at home thinking about wild animals, natural gases and slabs of falling rock... probably a good indication that I'm not cut-out for underground exploration. =D
Considering the pipes and that opening, almost feel like this cave was filled in. Makes me wonder if you guys could look up some past on this location.
I've been watching a lot of these videos lately, in a slightly masochistic way as I am very claustrophobic and you could not pay me to go caving, but weirdly I think it has had a somewhat numbing effect on me through exposure! That is, until I learned about 1) Floyd Collin and the Sand Cave incident, and 2) more recently (and possibly more horribly) John Jones in Nutty Putty Cave, and OH BOY these have traumatised me anew. Jones especially - being trapped upside down until your heart and lungs give in and you die, Jeez, I feel sick just thinking about it!! Anyway all that to say, take care and be safe guys! I hope nothing bad happens to you 😰
Some of these veey tigh spots that you guys crawl thru are insane, i don't know how you do it. And also as someone else mentioned getting back out without getting lost. Amazing footage and journeys. Thanks for sharing.
Love your videos guys. Puts me way outside my comfort zone, but i'm in awe of you both. Spotted a couple of things that i wondered if anyone else saw. 9:53 looks like the date '1921' scratched into the rock face and 15:55 looks like a large animal bone on the floor.
Has anyone figured out what the pipes are for or who put them there? The only explanation I can think of is they were tapping a water source in the back that used to be deeper than it is currently today
Good on you for doing that! Facing fears through exposure like this is super helpful. I'm completely over my arachnophobia after watching vids of people handling spiders, so same sorta thing!
Demolishing Ranch is a TH-cam channel I've watched for years. Matt bought an abounded mansion and now lives in it and it is beautiful. He recently bought an abandoned Ranch and it has lots of Caves. Matt would love explore it with some experts. If your near Texas , hit him up he would love it.
ha I want that collab to happen sooo bad too.. I want to imagine that Matt and his team working on the ranch at some point will be able to focus on clearing debris from the blast that revealed a passage. It would be amazing and slightly terrifying to find that right below their feet sits a 10s of stories domed drop into the river cave previously explored. I just hope the blasting that have done / will do isn't such a seismic disturbance that it collapses most or all of it before they can visit, hope also when they do it will still be safe.

@@ActionAdventureTwinshey, just wanted to tell you, there's a hip bone at 15:56 mark of the video. Why would there be a bone so deep in there? A bone that big... You need to come out west and check it all out! Great video guys! Do youfind caves this way very often? Noticing an opening? Id say it was well worth it! Thanks Edward for sharing it. I cant wait to see where you go next!
At 10:13 something is moving in one of the small cave holes then disappears. Trick of the light maybe? i used screen recording software to slow down the frames and can't tell what it is.
@9:55 looks like someone wrote 1921 and something else maybe starting with a cursive J. Very cool find. Someone certainly spent a lot of time and money in that cave. Also looks like it might have been back filled a bit.
Is that writing on the rock at 9:54? Looks a bit like a scribbled 1921 to me. Edit: And whatever that is at 15:58 looks like a piece of bone, or maybe moose antler or something.
It gives me mild anxiety just to watch the video. Hats off to you guys for being able to squeeze in those tight places. I would not want to do that although exploring caves without the cramming would be good. .
I like cave exploring but my adventures end if i have to crawl for more than 20 feet 😅 With all the gravel and rocks it seems that whole thing is a raging torrent when it rains. Pretty sketch place to be
I love your videos! It reminds me of my youth. Funny because I grew up claustrophobic. Very! Watching you guys, explore and seeing the beauty underneath us. Is amazing. I look forward to all your videos now. Ty! I would love to do cave exploring now. Unfortunately I'm too old, but I wish I would've tried it though when I had that passion.
Imagine at the end of the cave you see a Door that says Keep Out, and you hear weird sounds on the other side of it. Would they walk in ? I think Yes. They got big sparkly balls just like those stones.
the cast iron pipes were put in to pump oxygen for the miners looking for precious metals. The size of the stalagmites are not very big so not very old cave. Still cool find though.
Another thing that trips me out is how surfaces deep within don’t see natural light; so the flashlights ,albeit unnatural, maybe have some sort of reaction to microorganisms on surfaces ?
My claustrophobia is so triggered by watching you guys..What you do is what i love to see and experience the most..Even though I could never do what you do..These adventures are awesome!!!
Those sparkles are so cool...so glittery🤩....it's got to be way more awesome seen in person😁 You always amaze me Edward, you push it to the limit to explore, keep on exploring...😎
I went in a small limestone cave that had solid shells in the eroded walls was very cool and yeah kinda sparkly some are awesome but I've been in some boring ones too
I swear it's the camera's perspective, but I'm always thinking, "Nope, it's closed off.", "A CAT couldn't get through there!", and there ya go, scrubbing along....lol I have no idea how you have the nuts to squeeze through those places, without panicking. Maybe it's camera perspective, but FUCK NO!!! lol I'm semi-claustrophobic, in that sense. I love videos from people who do things I'd NEVER do. ;) Thanks. You offer us wusses a cool view into Earth from your perspective.
The 1921 etching at 9:55 and the square thing that looks out of place. My guess something or someone is covered in that thing. Think about it.......at that part they went up and under them was water. Cave might have flooded and someone in 1921 got stuck there and died.
Why didn't you take a closer look at the brick wall? There could have been another more well used passage that the previous plunderers sealed off. I'd suggest carrying a ice pick of decent weight to see what the layers under the surface of the cave looks like.
I know yall know what your doing but damn. This still seems risky if you guys actually just find these caves without knowing anything about them. The one in this video looks like it is a riverbed with all the small stones and rubble on the floor that doesn't look like if fell from the ceiling. I would be worried about this thing filling up with water and since it is so shallow it might take only a couple of inches to trap you. This is why I cant go caving in wet caves. I'm so paranoid about water and caves put together.
I did this stuff when I was (a lot) younger. I remember bruised ribs from breathing in too far when sandwiched. It scares me watching you guys now, but I loved the video. Thank-you! Subscribed.👍

Took a vacation to Kentucky and debated pulling over and going inside every careless I found
9:00 All of the very smooth stone formation you're looking at is called flowstone, very smooth sediment deposits that were made with flowing water over hundreds and thousands of years.
Something is caused that watery basin to dry up. There used to be a continuous waterfall keeping the entire area moist. Whatever is generating that higher temperature that you previously mentioned is probably what dried this place up.
I think they know lol
@@patrick78624well I didn’t so I appreciate the comment he person left !
I’m guessing a natural cavity utilized as part of a utility/storm drain system.
Old maps of the area it's in would elucidate
I hope nothing bad happens to you 😰
The John Jones cave story has haunted me for years. It will never leave my brain. The absolute tragedy of everything surrounding it. 😭
@@JamieandMike Same, I think about it all the time. Absolutely horrible way to die ☹️☹️☹️
Some of these veey tigh spots that you guys crawl thru are insane, i don't know how you do it. And also as someone else mentioned getting back out without getting lost. Amazing footage and journeys. Thanks for sharing.
I have trouble breathing just by watching you crawl through there
Love your videos guys. Puts me way outside my comfort zone, but i'm in awe of you both. Spotted a couple of things that i wondered if anyone else saw. 9:53 looks like the date '1921' scratched into the rock face and 15:55 looks like a large animal bone on the floor.
I saw that date at 9:53 as well. Looks like something else might have been scratched next to it too. I thought I saw a guano pile near there as well.
I came here looking to see if anyone saw that at 15:55 too!
Yes,, me too Deffo looks like a big shoulder blade.
Has anyone figured out what the pipes are for or who put them there? The only explanation I can think of is they were tapping a water source in the back that used to be deeper than it is currently today
ha ha i just commented on the same thing before i read the comments.
You guys are so totally nuts its awesome. Thanks for taking us all along with you.
I have claustrophobia real bad and watching your videos is slowly helping me fight against it. Keep the craving.
Good on you for doing that! Facing fears through exposure like this is super helpful. I'm completely over my arachnophobia after watching vids of people handling spiders, so same sorta thing!
Same here!
Where that brick wall was indicates that the cave is probably 15 feet deep with debris. There was great ceiling height in there at one time.
I really hope they do this
They are supposedly in contact with him
Old news. People were blowing them up about this a couple videos ago and they've since talked to him, but nothings come of it yet.
@@R3TR0R4V3 oh I didn’t know this. Thank you for letting me know this is exciting news
ha I want that collab to happen sooo bad too..
Man great vid ! So fun watching people risk their life but thank God there are folks that aren’t afraid to explore !
I'm claustrophobic as hell, but love rocks and natural caves...thanks for the opportunity!
You guys are nuts! I get anxious just watching this.
I got stuck in a cave once. My body was wedged between rocks with no ground under my feet.. aka GET ME THE F OUTTA HERE!
friends finally made it to the cave and heard me and pulled me out. Colorado rockies
Glad you made it out! That is truly frightening.
@@johnnewton8017
Thank you 🫡
I probably would have died. Every little move I made wedged me further in till it was hard to breath. I like how these dudes don’t cave alone.
Nope!
20:01
That 'centipede' is a flat-backed millipede, don't know what species specifically. But it's so cool to see one in the wild just doing it's thing.
@9:54 i see "1921" etched in the rock. that square bit may have been man made.
You guys are crazy going in such tight spaces. I was on pins and needles watching and wondering how your going to get out. So exciting thank you for sharing.
Someone etched 1921 or 27 in that cave at 9:55. There's also a pile of black something that doesn't necessarily look natural in the "corner" just before that at 9:47.
Not sure what you saw, I replayed it a few times but couldn't see anything at either time point. I only have a small monitor though.
I saw it too, ran straight to the comments to see if anyone else did
Nice catch....saw the black stuff but not the etching. Thats probably the last time someone was in there.
There’s another shape too wish he’d have shown it better
Triangle n x or some
I got so anxious when you dudes start crawling in unknown places. But holy shiii love the videos. Stay safe bois!
Matt with Demolition Ranch needs some professional cave spelunkers for his new property. Great opportunity for another video to an audience of 11.4 million subscribers 👍
Stay safe guys!
We heard! We are there! Mineral dude already almost died in the flooded cave trying to swim under a ledge
@@ActionAdventureTwinshey, just wanted to tell you, there's a hip bone at 15:56 mark of the video.
Why would there be a bone so deep in there? A bone that big... Makes no sense, no large animal can crouch under like a human can...
Is it a human bone maybe??
Can't wait to see y'all in the Texas cave with Matt!
Glad the mineral dude is okay.
I'm in Maine, and there are tons of secret caves around my house.
😊
Just saw those videos before this one. I am amazed how quickly he regained his composure from that incident. Glad everyone seemed okay at the end though.

This shit REALLY DOES separate the MEN from the boys … had my heart RACING!!! I was like PLEASE GO BACK! 😂 I didn’t wanna see y’all go any further tbh…. WILD!!!
Being a rockhound, I wouldn't get 5 feet into that passage before I'd go nuts looking at, well, just about every cobble around me... Thanks for the crawl, guys👍
I been hunting the gravel on their videos. There has to be artifacts in there. Did you see the bones? 15:58
What state are you from? I rockhound here in Pennsylvania. Mostly for Quartz. Old mines are pretty well known for their Quartz here. In fields where amish live you can find amythyst and smokey Quartz when they til fields. But there is tons of places in PA for different rocks.

I've been getting more into rockhounding. At 13:37 his light hits something that glows red, I wonder what could do that

The amount of times these guys say "it's getting really bad" and then _KEEP GOING_ gives me knots🥶😅
Watching you guys crawl through those tight spots makes my anxiety kick in. Idk how you do it. I would never in a million years, and I've explored hundreds of tunnels, caves, abandoned homes and buildings, etc,
“Don’t Ever Go In Here”
Goes in there..
I really love it when you say it's getting tighter or I can stand up now because sometimes the perspective in the camera is a little bit squed
Skewed but yes I agree.
Was getting claustrophobic just watching you guys on TH-cam.
Very cool video! 💯
That was really cool! Too bad it ended... Have you guys ever beento the Lost sea in Tennessee? The largest underground lake. You ever been to Carlsbad Caverns? That one is amazing. You need to come out west and check it all out! Great video guys! Do youfind caves this way very often? Noticing an opening? Id say it was well worth it! Thanks Edward for sharing it. I cant wait to see where you go next!

come to Nevada...🙃
At 10:13 something is moving in one of the small cave holes then disappears. Trick of the light maybe? i used screen recording software to slow down the frames and can't tell what it is.
I saw that too😱😱
@9:55 looks like someone wrote 1921 and something else maybe starting with a cursive J. Very cool find. Someone certainly spent a lot of time and money in that cave. Also looks like it might have been back filled a bit.
Came here to say this myself, figured someone else would've caught it.. cool to see it was (apparently) explored over a hundred years ago
The pipe is for flooding the cave after trespassers are detected.
Is that writing on the rock at 9:54? Looks a bit like a scribbled 1921 to me. Edit: And whatever that is at 15:58 looks like a piece of bone, or maybe moose antler or something.
I was just gonna comment about the "1921" writing. Weird! Interested to know more about it.
1921
Yeah I noticed him crawling over a "scapula" bone aka sholderblade of maybe a deer
I noticed the "1921" too and came to comment...You beat me to it 🤣👍👏
@@garrettmillsap Yeah I saw the scapula too. Thought the same thing,
Believe me, I feel my lungs collapsing watching you walk through such a tight space

"Don't Ever Go In Here"
don't worry, I won't!
It gives me mild anxiety just to watch the video. Hats off to you guys for being able to squeeze in those tight places. I would not want to do that although exploring caves without the cramming would be good. .
That’s a pressure regulator on the pipe at the entrance,so it was delivering water into the mine under pressure
I like cave exploring but my adventures end if i have to crawl for more than 20 feet 😅
With all the gravel and rocks it seems that whole thing is a raging torrent when it rains.
😂
Here I am again watching videos I don't seem to finish. You boys have balls of steel for sure!
Dwarves. Dwarves laid the pipes. 😂😂😂
the cast iron pipes were put in to pump oxygen for the miners looking for precious metals. The size of the stalagmites are not very big so not very old cave. Still cool find though.
Only Mario would do this pipe job.
😂
Non union pipe fitters
Another thing that trips me out is how surfaces deep within don’t see natural light; so the flashlights ,albeit unnatural, maybe have some sort of reaction to microorganisms on surfaces ?
My dudes - the crickets, the weirdo pipes, the noises. What an excellently spooky video for Halloween.
My claustrophobia is so triggered by watching you guys..What you do is what i love to see and experience the most..Even though I could never do what you do..These adventures are awesome!!!
Those sparkles are so cool...so glittery🤩....it's got to be way more awesome seen in person😁
You always amaze me Edward, you push it to the limit to explore, keep on exploring...😎
You guys need to talk with Matt from demolition ranch or off the ranch TH-cam channels. He’s got a couple caves on his property that need exploring.
Ride the murdercycle ?😊
The 1921 etching at 9:55 and the square thing that looks out of place. My guess something or someone is covered in that thing. Think about it.......at that part they went up and under them was water. Cave might have flooded and someone in 1921 got stuck there and died.
It might be possible considering this was a mine.

I had so much anxiety watching this.
Thank you for taking me on your adventure..You guys are too cool..
Did you see that writing on the rock at 9:53 ?
Looks like it says “1921”
Good eye
I did this stuff when I was (a lot) younger. I remember bruised ribs from breathing in too far when sandwiched. It scares me watching you guys now, but I loved the video. Thank-you! Subscribed.👍
I love it when you guys find formations! They're so alien and unique, like something from another planet. Thanks for taking the time to record the flow stones, crystals and stalactites/stalagmites you find!! I could stare at them forever.
Also, I got a bit of a chill when you said you heard a woman's voice deep within the cave. Spoooooky! 👻 Just in time for Halloween. Have ya'll heard any other weird things while spelunking before?

At the entrance that large valve is a pressure regulator! It drops pressure from industrial pressure, 110 psi, down to domestic pressure, 60 to 80 psi, so toilets don't just keep running.
Interesting, could you elaborate further?
Looked like a Large gate valve tap to me, just missing the crank handle/knob from the top.
