That's what I love about plants, there's so many different types of plants, you can never get bored. As soon as you master cactus, you can play with orchids for example. But you could also do cactus alone for your whole life.

@Aroid District Not really, man. At least nothing unique. You will find the standard ones that you see every nothing beyond the surface. I guess since there are no dessert climates they don't feel the demand merits the space.The plant shops carry more, but it is definitely comes at a premium.

Thank you! I’m sure you’ll get your collection back up. For Cacti I use Miracle grow cactus mix…I add in a bit more perlite. All my other plants, I use a soil-less mix (moss, bark, charcoal, perlite, leca).

I'm waiting to set up my greenhouse too, but it's still too cold. In the meantime, I'm prepping my plants to outside and starting to add a little fertilizer to their water.
Nice! I should be placing the plants by a window just to acclimate to the sun’s UV this week. They burn easily if they’ve been under grow lights and suddenly get little sun exposure.
@Aroid District I need to invest in a new shade cloth this year, but before I put any plant in the greenhouse, I need to clean the windows and power wash the floor. I've already started to expose some plants to a little natural light.
Love the pot it goes so well with the cactus and the way it grows..the peperomia is deff interesting a little too much color for me but interesting..and your anthurium hybrids are 🔥🔥🔥 omg especially that last one..I feel like any hybrid with besseae always gives an amazing color
Thank you, yeah I figured that Peperomia was a bit much with color. Its small so its not so distracting. Its def the Besseae that's been putting the fine wine in all the Anthuriums.
I love colorful plants too…especially plants with dark/almost black leaves or crazy variegation. However like you, I don’t really like pink plants, leaves, flowers either - can’t explain it, but every once in awhile I’ll find a pink plant I like. My body count is kinda high when it comes to peperomias though…things start off good when I get them home and then it goes left about a month in 😂🤣LMAO

I looked it up, you can’t cross the podophyllum with much, looks like it can only be crossed with other “fingery” anthurium. Also definitely tutorial on the pot please!

Plants turn purple or red when they get a lot of light also.
It’s a combination of light and cool weather. When it’s hot, the light turns them lighter green instead.
