- Monstera Thai Constellation tips and tricks. Re-potting rare Philodendron.
Potting Media: Pafcal Chips, Perlite, Leca, Osmocote Fertilizer
Channel Mentioned: @prettyingreen
Pafcal: amzn.to/44aRhiu (This product is currently sold out, but I this link is posted just in case it restocks) - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I repotted my MTC into a self- watering container. I used mineral stones which is similar to lechuza pons, but very cheap in Malaysia, RM 9.00 per kg. Since then , more than 6 months ago, my MTC has put out 4 big leaves . I never had root rot and can go for long holidays without worry. For fertilizer, I just sprinkled osmocote pellets every fortnightly. Just for sharing 😊
You’re hilarious and I just love your whole aura! Thanks for posting! ❤
Good to see you Dave! I was hoping all was well. Congratulations on your Thai Cons and I"m sorry about the bump in the road (Bad tenants) it can only go up from here. ❤ God bless.
Good to see you back in the comments. Thank you, appreciate the encouragement!
So happy to see the notification for your video this morning! Very sad to hear how your tenants treated your rental unit 😢. Great to see you are staying positive in spite of it! Take care and hope that everything runs smoothly and efficiently so you can move back home and get some quality renters back in there.
Thank you! Yeah, making peace with an adversity takes time, but then you gotta quickly make plans to remedy the situation. That's where I'm at. Appreciate your support.
I just love your attitude, I'm so sorry about the tenents. It's horrible how people can do that. I LOVE the verrocusom hybrid! Love your channel, your heart and how you show it all! Good, bad and ugly! You're AMAZING! 💜
Omg you made my day! Thank you so much for the great advice for the Thai constellation. Mine is going through root rot as we speak and I am terrified. When I get past the root rot I will definitely be using the pafcal, leca and perlite to grow in. I will also be subscribing to your channel because you are so knowledgeable. I have probably watched 20 videos on how to save my plant but yours made the most sense as far as what to grow it in when it recovers. And btw, you are adorable! Not flirting, I'm old enough to be your mom lol
You’re welcome. Appreciate you subscribing and watching. Wish you blessing on your Thai. Comment or message me anytime, if you have questions about the new potting media.
I’ve missed you kid. I love your medium and Green guy is the best. I am stunned at what that those people did to your property. You will come up on top don’t worry💚
I just noticed how immaculate your home is. So last I posted about my second Thai after I killed the first one. All of the roots and dirt the second plant came with fell off after watering. I was scared it had rotted, but when I inspected it, there was a growth point. I put it in water but was afraid it would rot so I took it out and repotted it in Fluval Statum, and the miracle started that moment.
That one stem, one leafed plant now has multiple huge leaves! If anyone is having trouble with their Thai Constellation, stick it in Fluval Statum and allow it to root. I have done this for a Monstera Albo node also. Once it has nice roots, put it in a nice chunky Aroid mix like the one mentioned in the vid. I found a vendor on Etsy who has the best mix that I will try to duplicate in the future. I just found out about tree fern fiber, so I am going to mix some of that in and see what happens. Nice vid brother.
Hey man, love the vid. I admire your outlook on your rental dilemma! “Get that lick back!”
Welcome back bro!!
I like your video's Dave, you have positive fibs and it's very informative. I learn a lot, so keep going!!😄
Thank you! Will do!
Thank you SO MUCH for going into the details on how to use Pafcal!! Your informative videos leave no stone unturned! If I could only watch ONE plantTuber it would be you, Dave! *Plus, you’re so handsome & well-spoken! Bonus 🎉
Wow thank you! I appreciate that support!
I’m still babying my sad monstera del. She’s jumped from soil to living in water then back to soil.
Before she began to die off she did leave 1 new baby leaf which I put back in water. 🤷🏽♀️Being a plant lover can be draining.
Excellent segment and beautiful monstera thai 💚🤍
Seasoning salt! Love it! I just found a Thai at my local nursery today. Shocked the mess out of me. I’m not trying to go down the root rot path, so bout to order Pafcal. Thanks for the great tips 👍🏾
Your plants are beautiful! Especially your Thai's.
Thank You!
Hooochie momma! That second Thai is fabuloso! I still have to get me one, so next month I'm getting one!
What up Dave. I watched this a few months ago when I was having problems with my new Thai Con. The PAFCAL mix worked. My Thai Con is thriving. I waited to comment to see if the PAFCAL would work. As you said it got my Thai poppin…thanks.
Hey what's up! That's good to hear. Appreciate you tuning in and trying it out.
Good to have you back I was kind of concerned about you. You take care of yourself. And this too shall pass.Amen 🤞🙏🙏🪴
Thank you Ma Long! Appreciate the encouragement.
Best at one thing, being a sculptor. Greetings from Finland!
Nice!!! Thanks for tuning in.
Dude!!! Thank you for this video, because it gave me the courage to try this as well.
I converted my monstera Thai constellation from store aroid mix to pafacal, and the thing just took off! Within a week the roots sprout out an inch of white udon roots. Three weeks in the roots are already reaching the bottom and busting out.
Before doing this I also had other experience w pafcal- my spider plant sprouted plantlets like crazy (a small plant in a 4inch pot gave me 20+ “babies.” I then air layered some of the babies with the pafcal “plugs,” wet it, then sealed in the humidity of that plug w tiny plastic bag while the plantlet is still attached to the mother plant. I thought it will take some time for the plantlets to root in. After a week thick white roots are already poking pass the plugs.
I also potted up some cuttings in there and the plants are taking off.
Only issue I can say w this stuff is my Thai Constellation needed to be tied down to the pot because the pafcal is very light and the plant will tip forward. But that’s easy to do and it shouldn’t be a problem after the roots are a bit more established.
Thanks again. I’ll keep all of you posted on the progress.
That's dope! I might have to try the Pafcal plugs you mentioned. As far as stability, you can add stone or leca to the pafcal to weigh it down and it still works the same.
Hi Dave - enjoyed your video as always but sorry to hear about the awful situation with your other house. Hope you can get that sorted out quickly. Your plants look great! Love the verrocosum hybrids. Your question is a tough one this week! Not sure I have an answer for that one.
Thank you, happy that you enjoyed the video.
Awesome video!
So glad to see you on here! I hate that life is life'ing like it is. Praying for you and yiur firmer tenants!
I'd rather be really good at a bunch of things!
Thank you! I appreciate the prayers, much needed.
Stopped by IllExotics a few weeks ago. Small shop but loved seeing the extra large terrarium set up how the plants would be displayed in the "wild".
First of all welcome back! Missed you 2nd I can’t believe them tenants tore up your place that bad..you had me dead talkin about the toilet tho💀 hope your able to work through that situation smoothly🙏🏽 THIRD imma need to know where you imported that verru hybrid tho it’s 🔥🔥🔥. And I’d deff rather be the best at one thing..if I’m recognized for whatever that one thing is than I can do a lot with it.
Miss you too! I had to make comedy out of the situation, but I’ll be ok in a couple months. The Verru hybrids came from Ecuagenera. And we’re on the same page, seems like people think it would be boring to be the best at one thing. I’m like nah, there is so much you can do with that.
I'm cracking up ! It seems like everyone with a Thai Con has more than one. I currently have 2 small ones rerooting in water (doing great btw) i plan on transferring them to leca no drainage. So while i was waiting i went a bought a 6in pot LOL very satisfied with it new leaf with fenestrations and all but it is in soil so i gotta keep an eye on it, the mix you have looks clutch! Good to see ya back !
LOL The good thing about Thai Cons are if they rot or have trouble, they usually don't completely die. So trying things like leca isn't a bad idea. Leca didn't work for me tho! Them roots turned to mush lol.
I loved this vid! thanks! Inspiring! thank you!
I use that combination of pafcal and leca not the season salt as you call it,smile. I use foliage and clones solution it works tremendously. Thank you for talking about pafcal, I used that first and the other two items after I saw the leca lady.
Your Thai's are so happy n healthy looking. The medium you're using is the truth! Can you tell me where to buy it please? I don't own a Thai yet but would like to get some for some of my other plants and for the Thai I plan on getting in the future. Wow, those Thai roots are just 🤌! Thanks, Dave.🙏
P.S. I see several YT plant parents using Osmocote fertilizer. I've been aiming to buy some so, I think you've convinced me to go ahead and try it out. Thanks again, Dave!🙏
Having to move is crazy but at least you can make everything work out! We’re the best at being good at a lot of different things 🤣🤣🤣.
Yeah, I’ll be good tho. Best at being “good” is a vibe. That’s real talk.
Those roots were looking real good! I would say the best at one the thing. “Jack of trades master of none” I would definitely rather master one. Oh and that 🚽 story had me 😂! Good to see you again!
I forgot about that famous quote! I totally agree with it. Glad you can laugh with me!
omg that thai con beef had me hollering ! i actually watch both of them regularly. WAIT WAIT WAIT i have to check out that shop i just checked and its less than an hr from me. Sorry to hear about your old tenant smh ppl are wild disrespectful. That verr/serp looks amazing. Also i'd rather be mid at alot of things i can't take the pressure of the fame lol !
LOL! Yeah check their shop out and also see what they have online since they are close. Thank you, I like your answer to the question...Fame is scary lol.
Great news on the Thai! I'm keeping my eye out for pafcal but its hard to come by in the UK
I think I would choose to be mediocre at lots of things a delegate the things that require an expert.
Looks like we can’t get the potting media out here anymore. It’s sold out. I’m guessing the proper size lava rock would be the next best thing.
the lightskin face and millennial pause combo is killing me
DAAAAAAAAAAAAYUM! That Verrucosum is dope, Dave. I just got me several seedlings of Forgetii WS X Mag x Crystal + mag x forgetii. I hope to have a variety of gorgeous leaves in another year or two. I have some cacti growing, too. Never seen so many pricks in one place....LMFAO!
Thank you. I hope those hybrids you have grow out. I thinks a good time of year to grow them out since most places are getting relief from the hot weather.
Mine was dormant too, but then I put it in leca, on a south facing windowsill, now it's thriving. Pafcal seems amazing, definitely need to look into that! Just found your channel, love the info. I learned some new things. 😎 Did you see the Pretty in Green video about the plant scammer? It's outrageous, and the plant scammer even commented on the video saying it was all a lie. 😆 Good luck with your property. It sucks. Why don't people take care of their surroundings? Some people are nasty.
Nice, I'm glad leca works for you. I didn't see the Scammer video lol. Thank you for tuning in!
Thanks! I had not heard of Pafcal. I have to try it. I just purchased a Thai Con. I just potted it in a chucks mix, but I will be trying Pafcal. Sorry to hear about your rental. So disrespect. Best wishes.
Thank you! I do like the idea of chunky soil mix for Monstera tho, its def more affordable for a plant that will get huge.
Your content is great! I’m surprised you don’t have more followers! Sorry about your delema……that’s absolutely horrible! But you have such a positive attitude.
Thank you. For me laughter is the best way to think my way through a challenge. Appreciate you tuning in.
Im a jack of all trades sir. I am just finding your channel 😊.
Dave, you are missed my friend. I know you're moving and remodeling your properties. Just making sure all is going well. Can't wait to see you back on the screen 😍
Hopefully I'll have time to film this coming weekend.
Sorry to hear about issues with nasty people who ruined your home, hope you can tackle it. I would never be able to the best at one thing because I like to experiment and my options changed slightly over the years. I also get bored very quickly so I think that being good in one thing and have no achievement with anything else would be very sad for me. I need changes and don't like routine, so learning new skills and things is something I need to thrive and to stay motivated. But plants will always be a great challenge and joy, is ever changing hobby 😉
Hello handsome 😍 thanks for the video prayers n positive vibes for the move an getting things in order thats some bull
Aw thank you! Appreciate the positive vibes.
Love this video! I just bought a thai con and I've been looking for suggestions for the type of soil it needs since they are more likely prone to root rot. After watching your video, I think another good alternative to pafcal soil is coconut husk since both work similarly. It's typically used for plants like orchids that require good drainage but also retain moisture in the pot.
Any updates on the coco husk? I just got my TC. Grower said I could keep it in it’s current pot with substrate for another 3 years if I wanted to.
I just want to gather further knowledge incase I decide to repot. 😊
@@yazzybananas3106 sadly the thai constellation i bought was a scam. Coconut husk is used purely for a more chunky soil mix. In a way it works similarly to orchid bark. Since thai constellations are more prone to root rot you want to make sure you keep it in chunky soil for better drainage. It will also help prevent water from sitting in the soil for too long.
A week ago, I saw about 15 Thai Constellations at my local Wal-Mart, but I had never paid $37 for a house plant. After research about its weakness of root rot, I became ever more hesitant. Thanks for sharing your method. Wal-Mart sold out two shipments, so I am waiting for another chance. I wonder if cutting up some of the foam seed starters for hydroponic gardening might be an effective, cheaper substitute for Pafcal Chips.
Thanks, Dave. I just forwarded this to a young lady I work with. I hope it's not too late for her plant.
Oh nice, I hope she saves the plant.
@@AroidDistrict She said she cut the roots off and stuck the two leaves left in water.
@@planttherapy1860updates??!! im invested in this story
It seems to get harder and harder to get goood tenants these days. Some folk don't seem to care how they treat your property because they have invested nothing!! Just trifling!!! I'm sure you will bounce back nevertheless. Best wishes! I would rather be the best at one thing because that one thing could lead to so many other great life experiences and opportunities!!! Thanks for the Thai Con tips; they were right on time! Keep sharing!
Great video.
Totally see why you want to be the best vs mediocre. I hate being bad at things so I’m a mediocre girl 😂
I don’t feel anyone should need to project positivity in difficult situations but when it happens and it’s a authentic reaction, it’s encouraging. Thanks for helping me want to respond more positively to challenges.
Thank you! It's always easier for me to respond positively to challenges, after making peace with the situation and having a plan to remedy it.
aww she is so buetifull hope i can get one soon and ill probley put it into semi hydro like pon or lecka
Jack of all trades, master of none!
Yep!
Monstera and Verrucosum is my OBSESSION 🙌🙌🙌
I tend to learn something with all my heart when learning something new, but I’m gonna go with mediocre, because being a single mom I’ve had to learn many things, and I now have many skills so from my survival perspective, mediocre wins and also my children have labeled me, wonder woman because there’s not much I can’t do, so that in itself makes me the best at one thing in the end and that’s being a mom 😊❤
Being a landlord is hard!!! Good luck with your project.
It sure is! Thank you.
Love that shirt
👋🏽 hi
Guess my original comment didn’t go thru🤷🏽♀️
Very nice video even though It was filled with highs and lows
*Highs being your gorgeous home and plants
*Lows being how your property was so disrespected
I’d like to be best at one thing and that one thing would be “thinking things through”in doing that I can solve whatever comes my way.😊
Best at one thing. And sorry about your tenants situation. Don't let that discourage you. There will be challenges. Praying for you 🙏🏽
No worries, thank you for your prayers
You should of told me you were in the area! I’m in philly all the time about 30 mins away! I love illexotics they are such kind people and have a great selection. Glad you were able to stop by and enjoy the east coast!
I’m so sorry for what happened to your unit that’s why I’m so scared of having tenants I have heard horror stories. How can people just destroy stuff like that so ghetto Lmao 😂 lmao I’m sorry I’m laughed at the toilet part LOL
Oh nice! I didn’t know you were close to Philly. But yeah, my mistake with tenants was not doing regular inspections of the unit. I literally tried to not bother them and now I’m suffering the consequences lol.
Thanks for this video, I just purchased a seedling and I’m so scared. Do you keep you Thai Con inside?
I’ll be good at a lot bc I don’t like doing the same thing all the time.
You're welcome. I keep my Thai Con indoors under a strong grow light. Your answer is perfect! That actually makes a lot of sense.
Good too see you 💚 I wonder if the pafcal ( spelling) is the same thing as Oasis, green spongy foamy stuff florist use for flower arraignments? Your new Thai is so beautiful 😍🫶🏼💚 Sorry about your apt, dealt for renters from hell for years. I hope your able to recoup your losses. 💚
Thank you, glad to be back. Oh no Pafcal is not the same arts and crafts foam florist use. That particular foam is water resistant. Pafcal is a dense sponge material that absorbs water, made in Japan.
@@AroidDistrict Thanks for the info! 💚
Saving Thai Cons, one root at a time.
LOL, literally!
Hot damn ! A man and his plants 😍
Great video. So i have the pafcal bought months ago on your suggestion, but i haven't used it. I have what i thought was a reverted albo but now I'm seeing variegation but I'm also seeing signs of overwatering. Do you think this would be a good candidate for pafcal?
Thank you. I do think Pafcal is great choice for any type of Monstera issue. I think the only downside is, roots do cling to the chunks, as you can see in the video. That's annoying if you end up not liking the substrate and want to transition to something else.
Great job. Thank you! By the way, do you think orchid bark would work vs Leca?
I think bark works for a short amount of time (6mo-1yr). Orchid bark does break down and crumbles in to dirt after months of watering.
I just water mine every two weeks is soil, perlite, charcoal, orchid bark
Off-Topic Question: Definitely the Best At One Thing!😂 It's a deep question to answer, Dave.😊
I have been trying to find some Pafcal, and I have been unsuccessful. Amazon indicated currently unavailable as well as it does not know when or if it will be restocked. Where do you buy yours from???
Amazon was my only source all this time. I’ll have to report back if I see it anywhere else.
Great video! HOw often do you water in this mixture?
I water once every 2 weeks when weather is cold. Once every 7 days for Summer. That’s for Monstera and other plants that prefer to dry out in between waterings.
❤️🔥
Hi Dave! How often do you water your Thai in the PAFCAL mix?
Hey, the Thai is in a clear pot so I water when I see that it's fully dry. That's usually once every 10days or so.
"his thai con didn't have a constellation" lmfaoooo that part had me rollin too
LMAO
Interesting, I've never heard of pafcal.
Hi, your plants are beautiful! I have a question do you use a humidifier with your plants?
And sorry to hear about your home situation. People suck.
Hey thanks, yes I’ve actually just started using the humidifier again, because of weather change. I set it to 60% and turn on circulating fan for an hour every morning.
@AroidDistrict oh nice. I just started using one here in redondo beach it's funny you would think it would be humid here but it isn't. Well not enough. But the plants love it. Thank you for the info 🙏 😊
I'm glad to see you back, but sorry about the property damage. Those roaches didn't sign the lease! They don't pay no bills! Terrible. You've got this.
LOL, exactly. I really think they came with the tenant but didn't leave with the tenant lol. Thank you for the support!
Dave! Where can I order Pafcal? I cannot find it anywhere. When you first introduced it, Amazon had it, but now it’s nowhere to be found!
I just posted the link in the video, but I does say that its currently sold out.
Dave, I missed you. I'm praying your property situation works out for the best. Off topic answer. Personally, I will live life doing many skills on a mediocre scale. I get board only doing one thing😊.
Miss you too! Thanks for dropping a comment. Your encouraging words go a long way. I agree with your answer, I never thought about how doing only one thing well can get boring.
New here. Where did you get those black moss poles? Those are nice.
Those are from a factory, I use to sell them on my Etsy shop last year. The one I used was a left over. You may be able to find something similar somewhere on Amazon.
How often do you water the Thai or when to water it. Any tips for thrips on Thai and albo?
Just water when bone dry. Thrips you would have to use systemic granules and manually wash the leaves every few days for a while.
I had my giant Thai con in leca and then bark and then a Trifecta mix with perlite.
Finally stopped dying after I moved it into spagnum moss. After six big leafs have died. I'm down to one big leave. Only problem now is I can't tell if the notice spent or if this bagnum is stopping its growth
Sounds like very problematic Thai Con if it didn’t grow well in a trifecta mix. Hope something works out for you.
I think the more things you can do the better off you are. You can be the best singer ever and lose your vocal cords and then what are you left with. You can be terrific at sports but get a catastrophic injury and then what. My plants are doing pretty good and I still love working with them. Terrible about your tenant. Hope it won’t take to long to get the rental repaired.
Nice video! I have a very small space so no TC for me! 🤣. Does the pafcal work on all houseplants? As to your question, I think both have pros/cons. But don’t underestimate being mediocre in many things! I think the biggest thing that I’d want to be the best at is my relationships with my God and my fellow humans. Everything else can be mediocre. But when I say BEST - I mean the best I can be, not the best in the world. As for being mediocre, thats not to say it’s sloppy or not good. Sort of “jack of all trades, master of none.” You can still produce excellent work with being mediocre just the talent is spread out. Thanks for the video! Good luck with your move. Sorry to hear about your disrespectful tenants. Chin up, press on. There are unexpected lessons to be learned in our tribulations. Just remember you saved a rotting plant from death. Perhaps “salvaging” is your strength. Making beauty from ashes. 😉. God bless you!
Sorry for late reply, Pafcal has been working for many different kind of plants I have. My problem is, I'm running out of it and I can't find it anywhere for now.
Mines in pon and it’s growing fast
We're do you buy the pafcal
Hello!!! Can you add the link for pafcal? I’m not familiar with it. my Thai con never grows!!!!
Yeah I'll find a link and put it in the description.
Where do you order Pav cal??? The spongy substrate...
It's usually on Amazon with the link I put in the description. But its currently unavailable.
I would not use the word mediocre. I prefer to use good because I would prefer being damn good at many things tha. Being the best at 2 thing. I would not want to classify myself the best at anything because that is Ego Based because there will always be someone that will come along that may be better and you will have this immense pressure to continue to try and stay "the best" and that can actually result in you losing sight of your love for whatever you are doing. I think it's more important to follow your soul purpose and master that and everything that is within that wheel like for example if you really passionate about Yoga, you would pour yourself into it and work your way towards mastery, you can then while mastering Yoga also master things within that are within that wheel which is things like mindfulness and meditation ect.
Hi did you say pafcal was on amazon, what is it listed under, thanks , Terry
I posted the link in description but it is currently sold out.
My first time watching your channel. Guess I missed it. Thanks again
I think it's smart to put just a pole for the constellation. It's important to keep it straight, always 🤗😌 What do you think would happen if you put it on a moss pole? & It's unfortunate about your tenant. You're better off. I'd rather be the best at one thing. 😊
Yeah, Deliciousa type Monsteras don’t need a moss pole because the aerial roots usually don’t go inside the moss. Only needs something to hold it upright.
“You gotta have a whole lotta ass…” 😂😂😂 💀
LMAO whole lotta!
OK...I Just Watched Your Other Video And Subscribed!!! This Video Showed Up...Since I Just G💚T A M💚NSTERA THAI C💚NSTELLATI💚N On Friday I WATCHED. I Subscribe To A Lot Of PlantTubers On TH-cam...BUT DIDN'T KNOW About THE PAFCAL CHIPS!!! IT Is In Stock And Can Be Delivered Tomorrow...SO I Appreciate The Heads Up On This Product. Perhaps, IT'LL Be MAGIC For M💚RE Of MY M💚NSTERAS Like The Prejudice Perus!!!
Oh thanks for letting me know it’s in stock!
Where do u purchase ur clear containers? Thanks!
From Dollar Tree or Amazon
You are far from mediocre Dave!
Thank you!
Where do you buy your pafcal? And how did you end up finding out abt it?
Bought it on Amazon but it’s currently unavailable. Heard about it a few years ago on a couple of TH-cam channels based in south east Asia.
It’s a product made in Japan, so not popular in America just yet.
Wow your Thai's look incredible. I almost bought one, but a seedling was 80 +tax canadian and with all the root rot stories, i was kinda scared. Ur vid was helpful and i MIGHT look into one someday if the price is right lol. As for the youtube beef...haha im conflicted cuz i kinda like that other dude lol. Check him out, he does great experiments with plants 💚
Also, id rather be good at a lot of things. I have ADHD and im a creative, so I will never ever be doing any one thing for any period of time lol. So many things would suit my life style
I completely understand. I use to watch the other guys channel, he's cool. But those "know it all" kind of beefs are hilarious.
Makes sense, great answer.
Hello beautiful Angel.
Hello
The best at one thing... Then I would know what my purpose in life was and what my gift from God was
Wow so sad this is the reason I don't own appartement buildings. Some peole are pigs and really don't care. Hope things get better for you,. Your thai is so beautiful just bough one 4 inch will fallow your advice thank you
Thank you. Things are a lot better.
Listen I saved my Thai Con from root rot by using lava rock as a substrate. And the roots are doing the most. Never heard of Pafcal, we don’t have it in South Africa . Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾
Nice! Lava rock is a great idea. Shout out to South Africa! Thanks for tuning in.
How's the rental going?
The rental is on the market to be sold. I’m relocating, which is why I had to take a break from filming. Appreciate you asking.
You're not moving everything out of that house right you just going to stay another one to fix it up?
No I have to move everything, so that I can rent this house out.
I'd rather be mediocre at alot of things.... I have a very short attention span! 😂 But I do enjoy doing different activities and hobbies! I wish I was the best at something but I just don't think lmy brain would allow that focus! 😂 Great question!
LOL, I saw that video. I like them both but that other guy is wrong! That Thai will rot if your breath stinks. I lost my first one because I moved it from PON to cocopeat because the roots were growing like weeds. Never will I do that again! How often do you water?
lol yeah I agree, dude was a bit bogus with his debate. I water only when bone dry or zero condensation in the clear pot. That seems to be once a week.
@@AroidDistrict I guess they both have their point of view, but the Thai is a fickle plant. Thanks for the information. I do have it in a clear plastic pot. I bottom watered it after repotting because the original soil was wet. This morning I saw a sad leaf and it came out and I freaked. I repotted and all of the original soil and roots came off. The main root is fine with no rot, so I put it in a chunkier aroid mix with a tiny bit of coco loco and I dusted with rooting powder, so hopefully it will get better. I pray it does.
nice roots- This is all I'M gonna use, it's not cheep. We got to perserve this S..... LOL 🤣🤣🤣
LOL, I was suppose to edit that part out...then I was like nah, that's the real Dave.
Wish I knew about pafcal before I killed two seedlings 😩
Ah d*mn! Hopefully you get to try again, especially if they make it to big box stores.
