    Don't worry Dyl. I actually stopped watching other channels (basically the ones you talk about) because I felt they were making videos regardless of the quality of the game. It gets boring quickly. I'm not against them, it's just that it's not my kind of thing.
    So I'm happy that you took the other way around: keep doing what you really enjoy! There will always be somebody who watches your videos and, most importantly, everyone involved in your channel, including you, will be happy. If one wants something different, they go and get something different. Keep going your way!

    For me motogp 19 , 20 and 21 are the best. 21 being the top, is fluid and fun. A lot people trash this game, but is the one I feel most comfortable. 22 braking is a nightmare and 23 throttle is like f1 22 traction control , game breaker.

    Honestly, MotoGP 21 was decent and have more potential than the newer games. The most annoying thing about MotoGP 21, from my POV, is that the tracks' surfaces are so bumpy, especially Silverstone. And yeah, I agree with you, I rarely interested on watching MotoGP 22 and 23 videos from youtubers, but I did watch a lot of MotoGP 21 videos, especially Robo46. Currently, I'm back playing my MotoGP 20 game, and yeah, it's a hell of fun!!

    I'm with you all the way on this one, been playing motogp for many years, ethically not right, but tried a crack version of 23, but will not buy it, bought 22 through steam but uninstalled. I will try 21 again.

    Mate I just wanted to thank you. I've been keen to get back into playing bike games and have been sceptical of the newer releases. I don't mind playing older games. Having fun is the most important thing for me. Subbed! Cheers for saving me some cash. 😉👍

    I know why! I know! Because, it's GOOD. You did a shit ton of content for 21 back in the day. Great setup guides for it too. So yeah make content you like, as you said there's plenty making MGp23 content so I'd like to see more 21. Life is too short, play what gives you enjoyment. I just found there's a PS5 version! I have the PS4 DVd version but I'm downloading the PS5 version now, the updated versions look better on my PS5

    Good move Dyl! 21 is my favourite of the series, I spend quite a lot of time on the 2 strokes and they feel good on Moto GP 21. I like Ride 5 for some 'bubble gum' and like you love GP bikes. Keep it up bud : )

    I uninstalled Ride 5 and went back to MotoGP21. I'm not going to suffer through another round of Milestone's "What are physics? Patch on the fly" antics. It would be dope to see you go through a fresh season. Maybe we'll see some new tuning/setup choices this time around.

    I bought GP 22 in the sales and I must admit I'm quite enjoying it. The feel of the bikes takes some getting used to compared to 21. I find myself flicking between Moto 22 and Ride 4.

      Alot of people have the mindset of playing older games is wrong and it's a step back, that will will be definitely at play with these games

    Somwthing ive been thinking about recently is about how a lot of games fifa, motogp, F1, and even gta to an extent seem to get worse reception as they got more "realistic" graphics.
    I mean i recently went back and played some of my favourite games from childhood. Gta san andreas, fifa 11, motogp 14 and the graphics were WAY worse than i remembered but it didnt bother me.
    And i think this is because the janky physics of these games are not only fun but are almost expected? Like in my opinion all those games i mentioned are some of my favourite of all time but could you imagine the modern equivalents having thier physics.
    In motogp 14 when you bump into two riders and and they stay glued to thier bikes like models and dont fall off its fine because who would expect a game with those graphics to be anything other than arcade?
    But when that same thing happens in motogp 23 you notice it far more because the graphics (atleast in my opinion) arent bad. You realise that the ai shouldnt be miles faster than you through corners and miles slower under breaking.
    Obviously the psyics are bad but i also think they wanted to make it easier and more accessible to a wider audience while taking an angle to also still appeal to more serious fans of the sport and they just got caught in the worst of both worlds.
    I dont know i think they have tried to make an arcade game when its impossible to do that anymore.

    Milestone is the demise of motogp games

  • @-3dfx-
    @-3dfx- ปีที่แล้ว +1

    For me, the MotoGP 21 lacked power in front braking and the bikes felt too heavy. On the 23 the braking power is better but the bikes feel too light and the excessive understeer when barely accelerating seems to me to be an inappropriate implementation. I think the games should cover more possibilities in the types of piloting. There are more aggressive people when entering curves and finer people who decelerate earlier and do not abuse the brakes as much, and I see that they are not able to make a game in which both types of driving can occur in the same game.

  • @nikolaig1

      Force feedback yes,I honestly have no idea about triple screens

  • @a8f235
    @a8f235 ปีที่แล้ว

    Bit by bit some people start to make sense after the release of Ride 5. What I see on the screen here actually does make sense. You just see the physics work so much better, and I haven't even played the game.
    For me personally Ride 5 is unplayable mostly because of braking just makes me want to throw up. The physics in general are just wobbly and wonky as hell. I just feel so much less in control which actually make it harder by default, yet to a piss poor player he/she will claim that to be better because they don't know how it could feel as well as they won't care.
    I'm halfway through the 2nd career thingie and just feel no desire to do any more of it unless Milestone out of the blue have an epiphany and stars are aligning and boom - New actual physics being patched in...
    Ok my bad, I got carried away there for a sec...

    • @Dyl469
      @Dyl469  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i feel like milestone have somehow made there most recent games easier for people who know very little about physic simulations or real life riding and that's what they seemingly are happy with

    • @a8f235
      @a8f235 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Dyl469 Yup, pretty much. Personally I don't really know what I'll do at this point because I've been done with Ride 4 a long time now, and now I just feel no want to play either of them. I couldn't care less about graphics, or endurance bugs or any of that, because the core of the game will always be the physics. How does it feel to play has to be there plain and simple, then you can add lens flare or something if that floats your boat lol. Functionality first, superficial things later.

  • @RRFriction

    I wouldn't touch Moto GP at retail price!
    Since 20 launched I've paid 19.99 for each release 21 22 and I'll do the same when 23 drops price.
    For me each release is treated as DLC
    All the games look pretty but sound garbage how anyone can release a motorbike game without even trying to add some sort of resembling real sound blows my mind.
    It's utter dog shite

    Well to be fair I’m not surprised you gave up and deleted GP23, as did I a few weeks back and also didn’t even make it to the GP class, in fact ended in moto2 after COTA very sad indeed and shows how bad milestone have made that game. I can’t stand the physics they are as you say “So Bad”.
    I’ve decided to not even bother with Ride5, with little to no confidence in Milestone 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @messiahshow
      @messiahshow ปีที่แล้ว

      Just saying Ride 5 is awesome, I own both games and while I didn't hate GP 23 and thought it had some cool parts in the physics. It didn't feel intuitive and the braking was just frustrating and the gyro effect on throttle was very strong. In Ride 5 it is so natural that you most of the time can read the bike perfect. Sense of speed and acceleration we don't even need to compare since Ride 5 absolutely shit on the GP series in that aspect.
      I recommend it it's really fun and have addictive gameplay and that's what's important. If sim equal boring slower gameplay which seems to be the case with the GP series then I rather have Ride 5's non-sim physics where you actually have fun.
