  • This is a video of the building of my 1928 Ford. It is a very early production 1928 Ford AR-AA, built in late 1927, and it was probably destined for the scrap yard when i got it, I collected parts from all around the united states to put this truck back together and get it back on the road.

Very nice looking truck after all you and Dad did to it. It amazes me in your own town was the flat bed waiting for you to bring it home. As they say...Just on time!👍

I love this! I just bought the frame of a 1930 in about same shape. Thinking about building wooden bed, seat etc like this.

I would dearly love to get an old Model AA truck to go back and forth to the farm, but I have no idea where to even look. Every google search takes me to sites selling pristine, "fully restored" garage queens. Hell, I just want an old farm truck.

Model A Fords are so much fun... we got hooked on them as kids back in 1968... My Dad had a couple after WW 2.... we just found a 29 Phaeton ...great to hear your narrative..

Excellent video;;;; I had a 31 Chev 1 1/2 ton that I had to build a new bed to haul coal. Used it here in Central Pa and got lots of looks when pulling into the coal yards. Many good times hauling Santa around Beech Creek ,Pa for the holidays too. Sold it to ESTES Trucking company as their father started that company with a 31 Chev and it now sits in their showroom headquarters in Richmond, Virginia.

Thanks for bringing another one back to life! I have a few "barn fresh" model A cars that haven't ran since who knows, I've been told to get rid of them but my goal is to bring them back! This is a great inspiration!!

How did you determine this chassis was a late 1927 build?
