Wonderful story, great souls and beautifully presented. Hagerty - you need to start doing these
types of episodes once again, please.
Folks like this are what the hobby is all about - sure, the cars we love are cool, but it's the people
and the back stories that are the true heart of why we do what we do.

I agree, it's a wonderful story. With a fantastic ending. Congratulations to the entire family.
That's Love!
Another great chapter in automotive history!! Thank you for taking the time to share your memories and your early vintage Ford. Thank you again. Sincerely appreciated!
God Bless you all , that whole story was awesome, shed a couple tears.
Thank you from Canada .
Thank you. God has definitely blessed us.
It's nice when you have somebody to share the car and your experiences with. I only had my mother, who died in 2000. Without her, I wouldn't have been able to buy it at all since my father totally opposed the idea. But I did get it restored and still have an available passenger seat to the right passenger.
A great story should always be told. So, here it is. Thank you!
Love Love Love this story. Very well produced video and super storyline. Collecting and restoring old vehicles are all about personal connections and not just about the machine or what it is "worth" in terms of dollars. Thanks for posting this.
Great story about some of the important things in life. Good job.
Thanks Jeff for passing this one to me.
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful...heartwarming story!
Wonderful story and very well done video. I also have a 31 Model A and my Wife and I really related to this story, yes we also take the A on many trips and the car does have a way of making a person feel that you are in a simpler time. The restoration on this panel truck loos really nice and so glad that the truck is actually a driver. Again thanks for the video and Happy New Year !
Yes Duane, it is still in the family. My sister owns it. I saw it last weekend in the basement of my mom's house. I drove it last summer. Runs and drives well.
beautifull story very touching and full of love. hope to meet my dream girl driving my 1958 Cadillac when she is ready and that day is coming closer maybe a week from now just some small stuff to do
Thanks Rick. Yes, that is a Farmall Cub with a "Cub-cutter" mowing deck. I hope you get that '32 going and enjoy it a long time.
It is called a "Glo-Lite" and was produced by ESSANDEE. The driver's side has a motometer. From the front there is a blu/green light and the sides have the red and green like a boat. I've never seen another one. When the truck was in the MAFCA national meet in Portland, the ornament was a hit with everyone. Not bad for a yard sale find!
Great story of finding that one person in the world to put the screw back in. Thanks for the great video.
Great story. We still have the first model A, my dad restored.
Great story! I really enjoyed watching the video.
An excellent piece! We love the Ford Model A hobby and dh is restoring a Sedan Delivery...it will take more than a year. We have made many dear friends and enthusiasts! CAROL - currently in China, but from Livonia, Michigan - FORD Country.
Great story and great truck!!! Thanks for sharing.
Tom
Great story!..Especially when it involves both your Loves
Thanks Bob. Good luck on your '40.
I do live near Olympia. I don't have any specific car event plans for this year yet. If you see the panel...track me down and we'll talk old Fords!
Terrific video. And is that a Farmall Cub tractor in the yard? I've been working on my '32 Ford pickup, and this inspires me to keep at it and get it on the road. Thanks for doing this. Hope to see more!
Great story and video. I live in Chehalis and just recently purchased a restored 29 ford pickup what fun!! Frank Mason
Very well done but those of us with old ear hearing have trouble hearing your soft voice over the background music. Could do with that. I have the same trouble with tv or going to the movies. But still and all a very nice little video. Thanks,
Ray
Three of my loves are included...the truck, the wife and the son who has put it on the screen for posterity! Enjoy!
This makes me want to keep my ford if i get a ford truck forever! (already got my stang and she wont go so im happy i got her! or at least i will try to keep her forever!)
Great video and a wonderful story. I have the same ambition for my Dad's '40 Ford pickup.
Are you in the Tacoma/Olympia area? My wife and I live in Portland...love to meet you sometime at a car event.
Awesome storey! Thank you for sharing :>)
Special!
Hello my name is Mark. I just purchased a 29 panel like you have. This is a barn find that has not been touched or fooled with in I don't know how many years.. It is all original and needs every thing. I will have to fabricate it all from the wood frame pieces to the medal side panels.. My question to you is. Do you have more pictures,I can see and take measurements off of so i can make the wood frame and all the door wood as well. Thank you for your time
Mark
Mark, I am not sure if they guys that built this, actively watch comments on the video, but I wanted to let you know that the Model A Ford Club of America has a great wealth of information on these Panel Trucks. Including some diagrams with the dimensions for misc. wood parts. Best of luck.
Steve, My daughter asked if you still have the MG she learned to drive on.
Duane Smith, Ashland, Oregon.
Thank goodness not every car of its type is turned into a hot rod. If find such 'renovations' extremely depressing...
what radiator ornament is that?
Very ultra- cool. What else is there to be said?
The big question is did "dad" ever get his 1600 bucks? ;-)
You guys are trying to rip off petrolicious.
