I’m a game collector and lifelong wrestling fan. I’m missing world tour and WM 2000, and I wasn’t even born when these games came out, but my older brother emulated them on our family computer back in the day, so in a way, I got to grow up with them. I recently started playing them again and I just had to comment how much of a vibe it is to find new content on these games in 2024!
@@JordoTWFS I also was born after most of these titles. But I grew up playing them and the PS2 since my family couldn't afford newer consoles. No complaints though, these games rule! And hopefully more content about these games you'll love to come!
Just found your channel through the Final AKI secrets video. Thanks for all the content, watching still in progress. What I love about the series is the detail, e.g all the little things they added, such as animations in moves (ever won via Backslide pin?), characteristics etc. I need to look up if you maybe have some of this in videos for Vpw2/64/World Tour as I remember them having quite some hidden or unique moves and discussions on forums about this. One thing I can share (not sure if you've covered that already for No Mercy: When setting up a ladder outside adjacent to the ring (sides or corners) the CPU will always go outside but instead of fetching the ladder they will climb it, try to catch the invisible belt/case one time and then jump off. But before and while they do this it gives a great option to do certain dives over ropes/turnbuckle etc. to create some awesome high risk spots to get them off the ladder.
Thanks for the comment. I didn't know that's how CPU logic in ladder matches behaved in that situation. That's pretty funny honestly. I'll have to check it out at some point. As far as those games you've listed, no. I didn't make special videos on them. Alot of what's in world tour I covered, and I'm not too familiar about Japanese wrestling. So I even though I've covered a few topics in those games, such as the mask rip and Great Muta special mist reversal technique, I wouldn't know what secrets to cover. Or if anything would be a reference or not.
Yeah, there's a lot of the left over taunts for in ring taunts that could've been deleted for extra space as well since they go unused. Still would've been nice to have but I agree that overall it's the least damaging thing they could have removed.
I'll make more AKI videos but I think I'm done with secret videos for a while. Right now just a small break from them to play a few other games. I intend to continue my No Mercy Playthrough with Stone Cold soon. Thanks for Watching though and sorry for the big reply!

I remember this one cheat where you would press Z to make a ladder appear in any type of match and it was crazy having RVD doing a frog Splash from the inside of the Ring to the outside through a table into a pin 😮anyways cheers bro 🍻

The dummy in Wrestlemania 2000 is great, only if you could change the color of the body too. missed opportunity not having it an on going thing. makes No mercy and WM 2000 unique.
Certainly interesting. Love the visuals especially the first person parts in Donkey Kong. I get DK vs Pac Man but I thought No Mercy was an interesting choice. 😆. Nice video all around though.
One secret most dont know is that women characters and secret characters movesets are based upon some indy wrestlers that has faces in the create a player mode
@@beanomac3126 yeah! It's a list on game fans I used to use that tells what wrestlers from vpw used them, If I remember correctly ivory is Masahiro chrono (wcw,japan) you just have to change the women based moves and follow the list for the rest but his face and clothes are there as well

@@beanomac3126you forgot 1!! You can also play dead. When your opponent knocks you on the ground simply hold the thumbstick in any direction and keep it there. You wont move at all unless you take your finger off it. Your opponent will just leave you alone. This works really well in royal rumble matches too

Create a Wrestler. His face, Tank Top, and Showster Entrance attire is still in the game. You need a GameShark code to access his leftover face though.

In 15:11 a 5th wrestler runs from the stage, when the game engine only can support 4 wrestlers at the same time. How is it possible? It's part of the glitch? It's a game hack?

Entrances were cut short so they could put more focus on the rest of the game which I think was a good move.

I think it was the head you couldn't change. But yeah, they always have these models of staff and the dummy characters that are unselectable.
